How’s it going Full Throttle readers! Keigan here again, I hope everyone is having a good start to their year. I have the Drag Specialties NVP show coming up on January 20th, which I’m very excited to get to go see and learn about all the new products that are going to be released this year so I can bring you all some different material than normal. Also, the new 2023 models are starting to arrive at the dealership so make sure you come in and check out the new color ways for this year because they look incredible.

Buying a new motorcycle is a fun and exciting experience. For most new Harley Davidson owners, they want to get behind the bars and go for their first ride on the new bike and when they go to take off, they lose that excitement when they don’t hear that patent Harley Davidson sound, we have all grown to know and love. So, they turn around and come right back to the dealership and say, “Keigan, I want my bike to sound like a Harley.” So, I’m going to tell you about one of my favorite exhaust companies on the market and that would be Khrome Werks.

Khrome Werks is an American exhaust company based out of Lincoln Nebraska, and they pride their selves on be in American company that produces American parts from American resources. Khrome Werks products are engineered to compliment the other components on you motorcycle. They offer an extensive line of exhaust and exhaust components, from slip on mufflers, 2-1 systems and 2-2 systems, that can help your mild or extreme build reach its full potential. Everyone knows that exhaust is all judged on the sound and so does Khrome Werks. When you install a set of their exhaust you can guarantee that you’ll be getting a deep rich American tone that is unmatched in the industry.

Let’s start by taking a look at their most common systems and that would be the slip-on mufflers. Khrome Werks mufflers come in a number of finishes, all being factory O.E. finishes, including 2 CVO finishes, that are backed by a limited-Lifetime Warranty, and offer 4 different muffler tip options. The Khrome Werks slip-ons are engineered for performance, sound and style. Their slip-on mufflers have been DYNO tested to show significant performance gains. As stated before, the sound from Khrome Werks is unmatched in the industry providing none of the high frequency annoying sounds. All Khrome Werks slip-ons are 50 state EPA compliant.

The tips options of the slip-on’s are where they let you add your personal touch to the look your going for. The edge tip is a very simple and clean slash cup design that is offered in contrast or chrome color options. This is the option I would run if you had stretched bags on your motorcycle. The slash cuts compliment the stretched bags really well. Moving to the tracer tip you will have a straight cut 4.5 muffler tip in contrast cut with black and chrome accents. The next option is the Turbine tip. This is a very simple and clean contrast tip with the outside color being black and the inside is a machine finish.
