Lone Star Throwdown

Seven degrees of separation, a term everybody has pretty much heard, I even think they made a movie about it, but most people dont think much about including me...until here lately. Since we started this magazine adventure we have meet and befriended a lot of kool people, some of which we may know by their name and others by their rides or specific event they attend annually, which brings me to my point. You never know who you are going to run into that is within arms reach of a relative or someone you know our are friends with. Case in point the man behind the "Layin At The Lake" show Chad, his mother and my wife worked together, we probably would have never met under any other circumstance yet here we are...another example, a kool guy named "Pickle" who puts on a bad-ass show called "Showoff" turns out that he is a relative to a friend of the family, and now my final point a man associated with this event "The Lone Star Throwdown" Mr. Dunahoo. Although I personally have not met him...yet, he was once a resident of the little city of which I now call home and being this is a small town everybody pretty much knows everybody or something about everybody and again with the wife, she brought it to my attention that she knew of Jarrod from way-back, I wont go into particulars but its pretty kool to hear stuff like this. So you never know, that next person you meet just might be within arms reach of your 7 degress! As far as our "Lone Star Throwdown" issue is concerned if you were there then you know just how bad-ass this 2 day event is, if you didn't get to attend this year we hope this issue brings you a small sliver of what you missed...because believe me we do not have enough pages to put in everything we got coverage of. And that guy's picture up there...he's got absolutely nothing to do with this article, but you will find his killer work on pages 6 thru 9. If you dont know him his name is Ryan Miller but most people call him "Yeti" I just call him a friend. You can catch him hanging out with that motley crew over at "Texas Show Promoters" for there "Friday Night Live" gig on Facebook and Instagram. Thanks for checking us out and we hope you enjoy this issue! Timm
