Full Tilt Buckle Removal and Re-assembly


3 Buckle Types

Middle Buckle (2 holes on buckle mount)

Upper Buckle (1 hole on buckle mount)

Lower Buckle (1 hole on buckle mount and 1 hole on side of buckle


1. Remove the lower buckle mount screw by pulling the lever out of the way. You may need to pull up on the lever to keep from T-nut in the shell from spinning


2. Remove the bolt from the side of the lower buckle guard and remove the old buckle.


3. Place the new buckle inside of the buckle guard and screw in the bolt. 4. Attach the mount to the shell with the screw. Once again, pulling up on the mount with the lever will help keep the T-nut from spinning.


5. To remove the middle buckle you will need to remove the cuff alignment pivot on this side of the cuff


6. Push back the cuff to expose the rear screw for the buckle mount 7. Remove the rear screw


8. Remove the front screw and remove the buckle


9. Place the new buckle over the holes and attach the front screw 10. Attach the rear screw with the washer between the shell and the buckle mount (only a washer on this one screw)


11. Re-attach the cuff


12. Remove the screw from the top buckle and slide it out


13. Slide in the new buckle and attach the screw


Full Tilt Cable Removal and Re-assembly


1. Remove the screw holding the end of the lower cable to the shell


2. Pull out the bushing and slide out the end of the cable


3. Pull the cable backwards out of the lower buckle guard


4. Push the new cable though the hole in the buckle guard


5. Slide the end of the cable into the bushing and place in the shell


6. Put the screw back into the bushing


7. Remove the cable holder from the middle and upper cables


8. Remove the cuff alignment pivot on this side so you can remove the cables


9. Pull back the bottom of the cuff and pull out the middle cable


10. Take the new middle cable and squeeze the end, threading it through the hooks in the shell


11. Pull back the top of the cuff


12. Gently use a flathead to pull the cable away from its seat in the cuff


13. Push the cable out of the slot in the cuff


14. Take the new cable and squeeze the end it stiffen it


15. Push the new cable through the slot


16. Align the cable with the desired length setting


17. Press the cable onto its seat


18. Screw the cuff alignment pivot back onto the shell


19. Slide the cable holder back over the cables
