A can such as a cat food can or tuna can.

Construction paper (or other stuff for embellishment).

o

Scissors.

o

Something to put in the finished project, such as candles or a plant.

Step-by-step instructions 1. Clip clothespins all the way around the rim of the can.

2. Cut hearts from construction paper and tuck them in between clothespins.

3. Place your plant inside.

You can make the result look completely different if you paint these pins in advance in one or different colors. It is also possible to glue pieces of tissue on each pin from the front side. As for the embellishment you can cut stars or whatever figure you like instead of hearts. You can also put a ribbon around or stick stickers to the pins. The possibilities are endless. If you don´t have a little plant it is possible to drop a heat resistant glass inside and put a little candle in it. This way you will have a beautiful candle holder.
