CONTEXT
ACTIONS
In countries as Nepal, Indonesia, Guatemala and- to a lesser extent- Macedonia, the most disadvantaged collectives of youths are deprived of the possibility to build up key competences indispensable in terms of employability. There is a huge gap between the knowledge of the youngsters from these countries and their occidental peers in the areas such as information and communication technologies, innovation, business planning or internationalization.
• Train 2 youth workers per partner who afterwards will be in charge of transmitting acquired knowledge to the Community Learning Pals
Therefore, we face an urgent need to empower the youth in these countries and help them to build the capacities necessary. That’s why the commitment of the Fundación Intras is to transfer to the partner countriesby means of joint activities- the knowledge, the skills and the tools for capacity development purposes.
OBJECTIVES • Empower the foreign partner organizations working with disadvantaged youth through the transfer of methodological and organizational models • Promote acquisition and improvement of transversal skills in the area of ICT, innovation, business planning or internationalization.
• Select 3 youths per partner country and train them for the role of Community Learning Pals, teaching them among others: community reporting techniques, the use of media and TV, ITC, community marketing and promotional techniques • Organize one pilot training per partner country, during which the Peer Learning Pals will transfer the acquired knowledge to their peers • Produce one multimedia story per participant- in the format of a TV show • Develop a “Pals TV app”, a mobile application will contain blogs, videos and posts created by the youngsters participating in the project
