Funeral Times is currently well underway in organising its fourth Trade Show, held at the National Show Centre, Swords, Dublin on Tuesday 6th and Wednesday 7th October 2020. Following on from three hugely successful previous events, Funeral Times have been thrilled with the uptake from exhibitors and visitors alike, with many friends made along the way. The move to the National Show Centre, ideally situated beside Dublin Airport, provides

additional space in order to cater for growing demand.

Along with a change of venue, Funeral Times Trade Show Ireland 2020 will also be open on Tuesday evening to allow busy funeral directors the opportunity to visit after work.

As with previous shows, our aim is to organise an event that caters for the funeral industry in Ireland, at a time of continuing and accelerating change.

As the industry in Ireland is facing unprecedented regulatory issues both at home and at European level including health & safety, repatriation and coroners removals, it is important that funeral directors and related service providers participate in the discussion and organise themselves to address the issues in the best and most efficient way possible.

Professional bodies such as the IAFD, NAFD, BIE, SAIF, PEAI and BIFD continue to do a magnificent job in guiding the industry and its members through the maze of legislation and regulation as it constantly evolves and is updated. They make representation to the various authorities on behalf of members and inform Funeral Directors through their education and service excellence programmes. We hope that the Funeral Times Trade Show Ireland 2020 will play its part in these times of

change. Our aim is to make it the showcase for the industry on the island. We want to create the best environment where suppliers and their customers - present and future - meet to do business.

During the show we will be organising guest speakers and seminars - many of an educational nature - which we believe will attract a large and wide audience.

The new venue, National Show Centre, Swords, Dublin is very accessible with many local hotels nearby for exhibitors and visitors. So put the date in your diary now and we hope to see you at the Show!
