Obit reaches new milestone with the release of version 4
Version 4 of Obit was released in October and is the culmination of many months of consultation and development. It’s easily our biggest single release of new features to date and includes several improvements to streamline work flows and aid internal communications.

We have streamlined the process for creating a new funeral, allowing you to enter all the important data as quickly and efficiently as possible. This saves you time and also helps avoid any data being forgotten or entered incorrectly.
With version 4, you can now define how your internal processes work in Obit and have staff members register when the different steps have been started or completed. This unlocks a whole new level of internal communication for your company, allowing you to do away with lots of group emails, phone calls and texts. Relevant staff members can receive notifications on specific events that are of interest to them whilst also seeing an overview of upcoming funerals and their status on our new Dashboard.
The new Dashboard serves as a nervecentre for your company allowing you to see everything that’s going on at a glance. Everything from what funerals are coming up, has the embalming been finished, have the drivers acknowledged their instructions for tomorrow, it’s all clearly visible.
