Final Board Designs

STRETCHTECH For this brief I have created a range of characters for a platform video game. To support my character designs I have developed the back-story & first level of the game. To show this I have also animated a short clip of how it would look & feel. For my print resolution I have designed the packaging case visuals for the game product.

This is the main character I created for the game, named Subject A. He is a military bio experiment with the ability to change his form at will.

During his creation, he breaks free of the incubation chamber incomplete, meaning he is not yet conditioned to follow the orders of his creators.

Trapped deep below the surface in an underground lab, he has to fight his way through many levels to escape. He uses his abilities to aid his progress.

These characters are robots controlled by StretchTech, the corporation responsible for Subject A’s creation. They are sent to stop his escape.

Their weapons involve long-range or shortrange attacks and sometimes both, in the case of level bosses who are generally tougher to defeat.

Subject A has a range of forms available to him, allowing him to deal with the different types of attacks possessed by the StretchTech robots.

These are some level designs with the different characters included. They help to show how the game levels are constructed and how the characters interact.

This board includes several frames from my final animation, created to show how the main character would move and interact with his surroundings.

This is the print solution for my project. It is the packaging visuals for the StretchTech game and would be released for the Xbox 360.

The game would also be available as a purchasable download on the Xbox Live Marketplace.
