Loch Ard Gorge, located south west of Melbourne, along the Great Ocean Road is a must see! What a magnificent place on earth! The aqua blue colours blow your mind! We were lucky enough to have arrived early (there’s a quick tip!) to have this beach secluded and all to ourselves. The feeling was nothing short of complete serenity and immersion in nature.

SPRING.... SUMMER? These flowers at Split-Point Lighthouse symbolise both of those seasons to me, especially when those flowers are lush and yellow. Wow! Like everyone else we trekked up to the lighthouse, did the 1.8km easy grade walk to get a closer look and feel, we were impressed! But I felt it was difficult to really ‘capture' its beauty. That was until we made it down back to the carpark, where I saw this small 'garden' of flowers facing directly at the lighthouse and just like a child I got really excited‌

LAVENDER DREAMING Summer of 2016 was our very first campervan trip in Tasmania with absolutely no planned itinerary. We took every day as it came, camping wherever we could and just enjoyed being in the awesome Tassie wilderness. It was one of our best trips ever! Bridestowe Lavender Estate was in fact one of our first stops after arriving in Launceston, but we were early into the season and the flowers were in initial stages of blooming so we promised

to come back again at the end of our two week sojourn and when we did return, nature had something special in store for us. The dappled light that danced across the fields that evening was a sight to behold and I will never forget that experience. The new summer season is fast approaching and it’s only a few months before the fields of purple are in full bloom again. *This image has been featured on Tasmania Tourism social media pages.

TIMELESS ONE TREE HILL Possibly the most famous cherry tree in all of Queensland and one that has truly withstood the test of time. The gorgeous backdrop of the Glasshouse Mountains and the distinctive sight of this lone tree will make you stop and turn around for a second look any time of the day. We did not have the best weather for most part of our short trip to the Sunshine Coast but this particular summer morning was different. The storm clouds had cleared for a brief period to give way to these beautiful morning hues and a view that I would forever say was “Timeless�. SEASONS SUMMER 2018/2019

SKYFIRE - KINGSCOTE OLD PIER A gorgeous summer morning in Kangaroo Island near the old pier ruins of Kingscote. This place is close to Emu Bay and the Old Mulberry Tree and can be quite tricky to find, but well worth the effort. This particular image was taken on our last night on this beautiful island. We had clear skies for most part of our trip but this morning was different and the insane colours stayed on for a while even after sunrise. The cormorants in the distance are probably scouting for some breakfast, still soaking in the early morning light. Rest assured you will spend a peaceful morning with these lovely locals any given day.

MOUNT WELLINGTON SUNRISE Driving around Tasmania can be fun and Mount Wellington is a favourite hangout place for sunrise during the Christmas and New Year break. As we drove up to the summit one Christmas Eve we were greeted by an ocean of clouds and watched with immense joy as the warm rays broke through the thick blanket for a truly epic sunrise. It was a ‘seascape’ of a different kind.

FIELDS OF GOLD Driving through the countryside can be a lot of fun as the Canola fields come alive giving you a few 'stop the car' moments and that perfect backdrop to sneak in a few family photos. It can be quite challenging though to come up with a unique composition photographically but in this case I had found my subject and was just waiting for the best light to happen.

SAPPHIRE COAST ROADTRIP During the Victorian September school holidays, FunSearch hit the road to the lovely Sapphire Coast on the far south coast of NSW.
