The Other Shore A MUTUAL RELATIONSHIP OF MIRRORING
For me, Bibliotheca(library) is the representation of my idealism struggle for advance, while the nostalgia is attached with some kind of painful emotion because of the unhappy childhood. I view nostalgia as this shore, representing realism and missing for old days in childhood. In the meanwhile, bibliotheca serves as the other shore, representing idealism and a will to make advance among adults. However, I nearly forget that this shore and the other shore are constructed by evaluation. So, the base of this dualism is deconstructed and I will get lost in the endless back and forth between this shore and the other shore.
DRIFT ALONG THE YANGZI RIVER To render this uncertain atmosphere, the site of this library is uncertain, too. The lower part of this building involves a vacuum space to provide enough buoyancy to balance the weight the whole building. Thus, this building is floating on the water. It is set free in Chongqing City, upper reaches of Yangzi River. Then it drafts along the Yangzi River, all the way through Wuxia Canyon, ends up at Sanxia Dam at last. This dynamic process strengthened this uncertain and philosophic atmosphere.

Now that the building is floating on water, the entrances of the library are bound to be uncommon, too. To get into this library, visitors have to go by boats. And the entrances are deliberately designed to be humble: just a door frame barely enough for two people to get through. In this way, visitors can sense the distinguish between the huge scale of the atrium and the narrow space at the cores, thus feeling a philosophic atmosphere about this shore and the other shore. up

Who I am? This is the question which I keep asking myself for a long time. Although this building does not answer this question directly, it does give a reply to what kind of people am I. I suppose, as this building suggested, I am a man with melancholy character and cannot really settle down for my whole life. However, it is just this force keeps pushing me in the road to truth restlessly. So, there is a complex emotion when I rethink this question: who am I.

The project is located next to a campus in Stockholm, where, as a result of the study, water pollution has been a persistent problem. What we want to focus on is climate crisis and the relationship between building and environmental impact. Our design is a machine driven by wind power to absorb the pollution in the seawater, while purifying the seawater and providing fresh water for the residential building on top. This tower is a self-sustainable public infrastructure. At the same time, it also has the function of enjoyment. Tourists and residents can visit the process of energy conversion process. This project shows that sustainability is not a burden but should improve the quality of people's lives and could also be aesthetic and articulate to make a dynamic experience. It's built right in the middle of the sea and is now part of everyday activities. The tower is ecologically, economically and socially sustainable.

PHYSICAL MODEL
Residential The upper part of the tower accommendates several hundreds of luxury residential. Residents within those apartment can enjoy a superb view overlooking the lake Brunnsviken. This supports the notion that resiliance can be hedonistic.

Lobby Located in the middle part of the tower, the lobby acts as a transition between the residential and the hedonistic restaurants. In terms of formal language, it also acts as a comma to the fluid twisting surfaces and an initial to the slim figure of residential part.

The lower part of the tower is constituted of a maga turbine which gather sediments, a landscape park and several water tanks to accomodate RO membranes which can purify sea water.
The middle part of the tower provide several platforms on which windmills can be installed. What's more, those platforms can act as excellent observatories for customers of restaurants beside.

3D PROGRAM DIAGRAM APPLY 2D DRAWING TECHNIQUES INTO 3D VOLUMN TRANSLATE SUPER FLAT TECHNIQUE INTO DIAGRAMS Our new Warhol Museum in Miami speculates on the architectural possibilities of pop art techniques popularized by Andy Warhol. Our design research focused specifically on the concepts of the Superflat: Color, Visual Paths, Speeds, Scale and Rotation are studied and translated into architectural form and space. The Superflat is a pop art methodology and philosophy established by Takashi Murakami. Two principles of the Superflat were of particular interest to us: 1. The control of the viewers eye across art works and 2. Scalar Shifts and Rotations from profile to elevation. Our project pursues ways these principles can apply to Architecture.
At the site in the Design District-the Museum’s north and east exterior elevations are designed to transition from one to the other effortlessly. Large concrete volumes highlighted with embedded copper seams allow for a smooth continuous visual path across the exterior that pulls your eye across its soft corners-culminating in the museum’s entrance. Scaler shifts occur on two levels- between the larger and smaller galleries and the transition between smooth and intricate materials. Public circulation in the larger galleries is at a faster pace allowing one to take in larger amounts of artworks while the smaller galleries are designed and materially detailed for longer and more intimate experiences with the art works on view. Transition between these spaces is gradual and fluid, resulting in a interior organization that guides visitors through multiple fluid sequences of spatial experiences. The interplay between larger concrete volumes and smaller scaled intricate metal panels emphasize this experience via natural and artificial light.

THE WRIED COINCIDENCE OF ADVERTISEMENT CYCLE AND COMMON FIRM SURVIVE TIME
WHAT HAPPENED IN CHINA 2012-2016 ? In 2013, the Chinese government put forward a policy named National entrepreneurship aimed to solve unemployment problem. Thence then, the startups become crazy, especially in IT market. As the charts show, the economic bubble burst in 2016 and wiped out most of the homogeneous firms in IT market, causing the firms in office constantly changing. In the meanwhile, the investments and time on advertisements for firms keep increasing, even equal the life of firms. This makes a wired coincidence between advertisement cycle and common firms' survive time.

HOW CUBES AFFECT THE FACADE
Those attached cubes fill the rails on the outside of each floor. Every row contains about ten cubes. Those cubes can shift horizontally according to users' needs. When there exist firms changes on this floor, different needs cause different arrangements of cubes, thus form different facade. There are several cubes on the three corners of the facade square. They serve as the identify areas. Cooperated with all other movable cubes, a dynamic QR code is formed. It can provide a short-time advertisement synchronized with the life of firms.

This edifice constructs a changeable system with the help of a kind of lift arbor. It can be translated into floor, chair or table. Based on this special changeable modulus system, various layouts can be achieved. To make the best use of this system, all the walls are also movable, thus making this space extremely flexible. As shown in diagrams, as much as five different layouts can be arranged on the same floor. Not to mention cooperating with the attached cubes, there are numerous combinations to adapt to different firms' spacial needs.

CONTROL THROUGH APP To better serve the firms in this edifice, we put forward an application. It can be used to control those arbors on the floor and manage the assets each firm has. They can even use this application to bid for the advertisements on the facade to get themselves well-known.

CYLINDER REFLECTION ART There exist a very tricky art form: cylinder reflection. It uses the cylinder to reflect surrounding, rendering a clear picture.
THE SITE OF MUSIC HALL It sits on the core area in Chengdu city. Surrounded by three universities: Sichuan University, Sichuan Broadcast School and Sichuan Music School. It enjoys a vigor and youth atmosphere of a music block. What's more, just opposite the Fu River, there located the most famous night bar street in Chengdu city. The diversity around it is more than enough.

FUNCTIONS OF THE REFLECTIVE GLOBE The Urban Music Hall is a complex of a music hall, a theater and a rehearsal hall. So there is bound to exist a public space to connect those three functional parts. The reflective globe serves as this public space for its attractive form is an ideal identity for public space. It connects the underground park lots, first floor sub- entrance and second floor main entrance. The third and forth floor of it act as the exhibition halls.

There exist a philosophy in metaphysical school of art: unusual experience can be achieved in the middle area between common and uncommon. It is vague that trigger poetry. So I build a mountain station with zen between the sublime of geometry and mundane of mountain's shape. To achieve this, I summarized the relationships of mountains in an ancient Chinese painting, Spring Snow in Guan Mountain, and applied them to my design.

MAKE VISUAL POINT I intend to render an atmosphere of silent in this railway station. Qingcheng Mountain is a famous site for a traditional Chinese religion, Dao Religion. I reversed the figure and ground of the mountains and trimmed several layers of white walls in this station to portray the silent and brumous atmosphere of this mountain. When the train get into the frame in the middle, it become the conspicuous visual point in a silent atmosphere.

Discription: We are researching on the three-dimensional cellular automata this semester. Unlike what we have learned in class, we increase the adjacent judging situation from three to four. Therefore, the basic judging decisions are 16 (2^4) rather than 8 (2^3). As a result, we will get 65536 (2^16) different rules based on the binary decisions. Then, we try to design special symmetrical rules to get organized patterns. For example, if there is three black in four adjacent squares, central square turn white and if there is one black in four adjacent squares, it turns black.

The key is make the situation symmetrical. At the end, we get 3 different rules that has different ratios of black and white, they are 31710, 26752, 27809. Next, we let the black ratio of each layer to decide the rule for the next layer. As the cubes move higher to some point, we let each cell have one rule ( which is local rule rather than layer global rule) to fight each other and create rather unsymmetrical result. The form we finally get is an interesting carved cube pillar.
