Fusion developed the strategy, provided a complete redesign incorporating new corporate branding, performed an extensive upgrade of the websites e-commerce technical architecture and software platform. Client GeneWorks is a South Australian company specialising in the manufacture and supply of quality products for Molecular Biology research throughout Australasia. Strategy Upgrade the existing GeneWorks website to offer on-line sales of products and services, improve geographical reach of the business and reduce operational costs while providing superior customer service. Solution Provides convenient and easy to use e-commerce product purchasing facilities for the entire GeneWorks product catalogue, including repeat orders, re-order favourites and quote request facilities.

International Award for Interactive Training Solution
The Asia Pacific Transport Consortium’s (APTC) web site promotes the companies contract to build and operate the Alice Springs – Darwin Railway.
Fusion is pleased to announce that the Technical Services Group of Konica Australia has won the International Konica 2000 Quality Award.
A key requirement of the web site is to inform the general public and those working within construction industries about APTC’s involvement to deliver the Alice Springs – Darwin Railway project, one of the largest infrastructure projects ever undertaken in Australia.

The 1,420 kilometre line is estimated to take three years to complete. During this period the web site will be constantly updated to keep visitors aware of the projects progress. The web site has been designed for future expansion, as well as including a friendly, easy-to-use interface with strong brand identity. Including extensive downloadable media, the site is a gateway to valuable information about the Consortiums present operations and future prospects.

This award aims to give recognition to groups at Konica and Konica subsidiaries for their steady effort for improvement in product quality, services, system itself, and achieved an excellent result. Konica Australia has made high quality CBT software as one of four headquarters’ joint projects, and has contributed not only to increase basic training skills of engineers but also to provide efficient training and decrease the cost of training for all Konica operating companies and distributors.” Fusion has collaborated with Konica Australia for the past four years developing the high end training products. The most recently released product is the ‘Troubleshooting the Digital Copier’ CD-ROM.
