How to add a Requestor to a Fund Record in GrantedGE

Requestors are the fund advisors that are attached to the fund record in Raiser’s Edge.

The following is the process for adding a Requestor to a fund record in Raiser’s Edge via GrantedGE. 1. Log into GrantedGE. 2. Select Records and then Funds, see graphic below.

3. The following graphic will be displayed.

Select the Requestor Tab and you will see that there are no “Requestors” selected for this fund.

5. Mouse click on the Raiser’s Edge Icon to spawn the Raiser’s Edge associated fund record.

6. The following should be displayed on your screen. Select the Relationships tab to add a Requestor.

The relationship indicates that there is a relationship to another record, but not a Requestor. So at this time one needs to be added. Select Organization as the type of relationship. At this point since the fund advisor does not seem to be known we will add the Foundation as the fund advisor. If an individual is to be selected then the Individual Relationship will be selected. For this example we are selecting an Organizational Relationship.

8. Below we have selected the Silicon Valley Community Foundation as the fund advisor. Note the type of relationship you select is very critical as GE is configured to only pull certain types of Fund Advisors.

9. As this point Save and Close out of this area and you will land back in the GE Fund Record that we are editing.

10. Select the Refresh hyperlink and after a few seconds the fund advisor will appear in the Advisor box as indicated below.
