Training Philosophy for Children 1. We do not train children; we assist them to develop to their full potential. 2. We do not condition them to respond predictably through rote technique, we provide the conditions for them to evolve and create dynamic means by which to achieve success. 3. We do not use a win or lose paradigm. We use incremental and progressively increasing challenges in complexity, intensity, and unpredictability to provide the child with positive feedback and "errorless learning." 4. We are not there to think for them. We are there to reinforce an environment conducive to the stability and maintenance of independence, freedom, and creativity.

Fun, Safe, and Exciting Martial Arts is good, clean fun for kids and a great way to give kids a head start on life. They'll learn the positive benefits of self-discipline and confidence, develop coordination and increase strength and flexibility. A structure of respect is built into martial arts, and children develop the ability to listen, learn, and achieve within a highly regulated environment. This proves to be an excellent reinforcement of study technique for school.

Parents enrolling children and teens are reassured to know that classes are conducted by an instructor who expects good behavior, uphold the rules, and provide continuous supervision. They strive daily to be the best they can be and they're dedicated to passing along that special quality of assurance and achievement to every student.

Our Philosophy As martial artist it is necessary to train in the three phases of fighting: Standup, Clinch and Ground. We do not like to think in terms of techniques so much as what will work best at any given moment at any of the aforementioned phases. If you are a serious martial artist, you must be skilled in the 3 phases of fighting

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is the "coined" term for modern martial arts cross training. Certain styles or systems have been proven dominant in "no rules" competitions in the different ranges of combat. A Mixed Martial Artist will cross train in 3 major areas: a striking art, a grappling art, and a clinching art. Covering all these ranges in a realistic manner.

Phase 1: Standup The range in which both combatants are on their feet. Fighting in this range pulls extensively from Boxing and Thai Boxing.

Fusion Mixed Martial Arts has no fancy techniques that take years to understand. You will learn how to properly move, strike, block, throw, choke, and lock someone; both standing and on the ground.

Phase 2: Clinch The range in which both combatants are in close physical contact, we use mostly techniques from Judo, Greco Roman and Free Style Wrestling as well as Thai Boxing.

Fusion Mixed Martial Arts will help you develop confidence, lose weight, and gain lean muscle mass. Come learn in a fun and safe environment.

Phase 3: Ground In this range in which both combatants are on the ground, we used mostly Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) and Judo techniques. Whether with a gi or without, BJJ/Judo is by far the most effective art for fighting on the ground.
