From The Editor's Desk  Lines on palm begin to form about four weeks after conception. By the end of the fourth month the formation of lines, ridges and creases on the fingers and palms is complete, and this structure remains the same for the rest of the person's life making hands like a fossil record of our life in the uterus. According to medical science the major lines on hands are formed within 2.5 to 3 months of period after conception. The process of formation of minute lines gets completed by 6 months. As per medical science the comprehensive knowledge of palmistry remains hidden in 21st chromosome which means that the development of our lines is completely based on genetics. According to a research in medical science some kind of irregularity in 21st chromosome can cause mental in stability in children and it is observed that their heart line and head line merge into one. This type of child can be eccentric because according to medical science this is a symptom of fatal alcohol syndrome and genetic abnormalities. According to medical science Head Line and Heart Line join when in the first few weeks of pregnancy the mother of child goes through some kind of mental stress or tension. It also proves that state of mind of mother can bring changes in the 8

lines of hands of her child. This is true because genetic fact creates the lines whereas the mother's condition during pregnancy and the upbringing of child can change the health and future of the child. As per the science of palmistry various areas of hand activate specific areas of brain and accordingly they are associated with various planets. For example the area below index finger is known as mount of Jupiter as this point of hand is directly connected with the knowledge area of our brain. The area below middle finger is mount of Saturn because it is related with action area of a brain. The little finger is connected with that area of our brain which remains involved in scientific calculations, therefore the area below this finger is known as mount of Mercury. Two nerves are connected to ring finger whereas the other fingers are controlled by one nerve only. The larger area of our brain is controlled by this area only and therefore ring finger is most important among all fingers and that is why it is rightly termed as finger of Sun. Probably for this reason only, most of the gems are worn in this finger. The other important activities like pooja ceremonies, counting the beads of rosary for recitation of mantras or putting mark on forehead etc. are performed with this finger only. a One of the most fascinating things discovered about hands is the ratio between the second and fourth digit and its link to levels of testosterone and astrogen. This has become known as the "Digit Ratio" or "2D : 4D ratio", and is obtained when the length of the second (index/ 2D) finger is measured, and divided by the length of the fourth (ring/4D) finger. This ratio has been found to be one of the only sexually dimorphic (different norms for men and women) characteristics that are fixed before puberty. Men tend to have longer fourth (ring) fingers compared to their index finger, while women have longer index fingers comparatively. Simplified, the fourth fingers length is positively correlated to testosterone, while the second (index) finger with astrogen. In Europeans 2D:4D ranges between 1.0 and 0.96, with females tending towards the higher values and males tending towards the lower. Conclusion: Males with a lower 2D:4D ratios (greater fetal exposure to testosterone) have been correlated with being more fertile, more aggressive, and having higher music & sports aptitude.

found to have higher digit ratios and a lower 2D:4D ratio has also been found more often in those with Autism. Colour of Hands: Beyond digit ratio, there are other medical clues we can gather from our hands. The colour and appearance of our hands can often be a good indicator of our general health: Poor blood circulation (a symptom for a variety of ailments) can cause hands to take on a blue-ish hue. Red hands may indicate cirrhosis of the liver. Fingernails: Diabetes is often accompanied with "Terry's nails" (half white, half pink nails). Blue fingernails can be sign of heavy metal poisoning, (very) poor circulation, lung or heart problems. Yellow or green finger nails can indicate a respiratory problem. Clubbing (nails curve over the fingertips) is often caused by low oxygen levels in the blood, and could be a sign of lung, liver or bowel disease. Spoon nails (concave shaped) may indicate an iron deficiency. Fingerprints: Dermatoglyphics is the scientific study of fingerprints, and rare dermatoglyphic patterns often relate to genetic disorders.

Men with higher 2D : 4D ratios have been found to be more at risk for heart disease.

In one study patients with Alzheimer's showed a significantly increased frequency of ulnar loops on their fingertips.

Male to female transsexuals were found to have a higher digit ratio than control males, but one that was comparable to control females.

A pattern of eight or more ulnar loops was found significantly more often in patients with Alzheimer's (72%) than in the control group (26%).

Lower digit ratios in women have been correlated (but not statistically significant) with lesbian/bisexual tendencies, along with aggressiveness and assertiveness.

Certain swirl patterns are known to be associated with genetic disorders such as Downs syndrome.

Women with higher digit ratios are more at risk for breast cancer, and more fertile.

In this way our palm denotes our development and future after conception by mother.

Astrology and Marriage Sita Ram Singh, Delhi

Marriage is the most fascinating event in the life of every young boy and girl, who have high expectations from their marriage and life partner. The quality of marriage makes or breaks the future life of an individual. The Hindu families invariably have the horoscope of their marriageable child examined by an astrologer to ascertain the marriage prospects and, on his advice, look for a suitable match with complementary horoscope to ensure that the couple leads a happy, healthy and prosperous married life. However, complete marital bliss is quite rare.

Indian astrology is a comprehensive divine science passed down to posterity by our visionary Rishis for knowing the past, present and future of every aspect of human life, including marriage. Among the 12 houses of a horoscope, the 1st House (lagna) refers to the person himself, and its opposite (7th) House refers to his/her spouse. The 2nd House refers to family, the 4th House to happiness, the 5th House to love, affection and progeny; 8th House to mangalya (marital happiness), the 11th House to fulfilment of desires, and 12th House (Sign) located in these Houses and aspect of benefic planets (Jupiter, Venus, unafflicted Mercury and strong Pakshabali Moon) and absence of influence of malefic planets (Mars, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu) and the Sun, ensure marital happiness. Malefic influence on 7th House, its lord and Karaka (significator) without any redeeming benefic aspect destroys marital happiness. The Moon represents mind (Chandrama manso jatah) and thought process. Mars, the planet of vigour and energy, and Venus, the planet of love and sex, 10

create mutual attraction between the opposite sex. The blessings of Jupiter bind man and woman into bond of marriage. After marriage, the restrictive Saturn keeps marriage partners within regulated conjugal relationship. It controls amorous digression, teaches faithfulness, and thereby ensures lasting bond of marriage. The Sanskrit name of Mars (Mangal) is Angarak, meaning one that burns. When Mars is located in 1st, 4th, 7th, 8th and 12th House, it forms Mangal Dosh. By such location it adversely affects marriage related Houses, either by conjunction or its 4th, 7th and 8th aspect. Mars in 7th and 8th House gives worst results and may even cause death of the spouce. In South India, the location of Mars in 2nd House (family) is also considered Mangal Dosh, because besides Mars 2 harming the 2nd Mars 12 1st House (family), it Mars Lagna also afflicts 8th 4 House (Mangalya) Mars Mars by its 7th aspect. 7 Mangal Dosh is Mars indicated in the 8 nd

a following chart for easy comprehension. The horoscopes of Boy and Girl with Mangal Dosh requires proper matching for counter-balancing the evil effect of Mars before solemnisation of marriage. Saturn in the 7th House makes the native dull, morose and under-sexed. The marriage is delayed or scleminesed with a widow (or) an aged or not so good looking inidividual. Saturn if conjoined with, or aspected by malefic planets causes broken engagements. A girl with such a combination remains spinster (unmarried till advanced age). Rahu in 7th House also causes late and disturbed married life. The wife may belong to lower caste, is sickly, there is possibility of cheating in marriage. The individual may also have intercaste marriage. Ketu in 7th House indicates unhappy married life. The wife may be foulmouthed or may talk irrelevant, except in Scorpio Sign where it is exalted. The wife may remain sick or expire early. When the Sun is posited in the 7th House, the wife belongs to a higher status family, is proud and domineering, which makes married life unhappy. In a girl's horoscope, the location of Sun in 7th House, unless aspected by benefics, indicates the possibility of the girl being rejected and discarded by the husband after marriage. A strong and well aspected Mercury of Moon in the 7th House gives a young, beautiful and intelligent wife. Mercury as the 7th lord, if weak and afflicted by malefics, makes the wife of the native argumentative, who works against the husband and destroys marital happiness. Jupiter is the significator for husband in girl's horoscope, and Venus is the significator for wife. If Venus, then beautiful, loves comforts and indulgent to the extent of going astray. If Saturn, then the wife is of cruel nature and opposed to husband. If Navamsa Lagna lord is with Rahu or Ketu, She is secretive, cruel and acts against her husband. If the Navamsa Lagna lord is conjoined with other malefics or receives their aspect, then the wife is quarrelsome. The role of 7th House has been enumerated above in sufficient detail. After that the role of 7th House lord is described. To begin with, strong 7th lord improves the 7th house result. When the 7th lord is strong and aspected by benefics, the inlaws are wealthy, but if it is weak and afflicted they are not so well off. The result of location of 7th lord in different house of the horoscope, subject to its strength and aspects, is as follows: In 1st House : When the 7th lord is a benefic and friendly to the Lagna lord, the wife comes from a known family, is helpful to the native and the couple lives happily. If the lord of 7th House and Lagna are located in Lagna itself close to each other, the native marries early. Ÿnkjs'ojs lfUufgrs foyXusukFkL; ckY;s ifj.khrekjgq%A½ Sarvartha Chintamani (No. 6.59). In 3rd House : The wife is a source of strength to the native. If afflicted, the wife may have soft corner for native's younger brother. In 4th House : The wife is good natured and helpful to the native, who becomes prosperous. If afflicted the native remains unhappy. a If afflicted, the wife may die early or there may be separation. The above results equally apply to the horoscopes of females. Among the trans-Saturn planets, neptune's influence on marriage related houses and their lords indicates deception, alienation and sexual pervorsion. The marriage may not conform to family norms and customs. Uranus is a planet of innovation, suddeness and revolt against the existing system. Its influence on 7th house and its lord leads to broken romance and engagements. Marriage is usually against the religious norms. It may cause marriage by elopement. Extent of Yoga Karakatwa of Rahu and Ketu Justice S.N. Kapoor

In order to appreciate, one has to understand that no planet acts and influences in isolation. Results of every planet are relative to the strength and weakness of the entire birth chart. As such before proceeding further one has to appreciate some peculiarities of Rahu Ketu. This is being dealt with in Part General. Second Part II would be more specific relating to its Rashi, Nakshatra and Navamsha position. Part-I - General The Earth and the Moon move on defined paths in heavens, creating different fields of forces. These relative fields of forces and equilibrium between these forces, is disturbed when paths of the earth and the Moon intersect. Rahu and Ketu do not possess mass like other planets. Two nodes of the Moon, Rahu and Ketu are the two points — representing cross roads on the fields of forces of the earth and the Moon and two points of disturbance. At the time of eclipse the light and other electromagnetic vibrations coming from the Moon or the Sun are cut off and normal arrangements, which obtain for the earth, are disturbed. Persons born during eclipse, due to this disturbance, have been found suffering mildly and sometimes seriously from mental abnormality and other physical ailments. Planetary influences are modified when they come in contact with Rahu and 14

Ketu. Whenever Rahu's in conjunction with any planet, it will enhance the influence and basic quality thereof — towards "Bhoga" and "Samgrah" while Ketu relieves from the basic quality of the conjunct planet i.e. "Moksha" or freedom from the bondage created by conjunct planet by taking away or distancing the Jeeva indicated by the conjunct planet and material prosperity relating there to. But it is said to increase intellectual properties of the planet to great heights, if permitted by horoscopic constraints. Further by absorbing the results of the conjunct planet they give results of the conjunct planet, thereby virtually making the conjunct planet afflicted and weak from this point of view along with their capacity to afflict the Sun and the Moon; and they are taken to have comparatively stronger influence as compared to other planets. But while considering influence of Rahu and Ketu, one must consider their disposition for the planets ruling the signs of Rahu and Ketu are called "Karmic Controlling Planets". It is said that since Ketu is inlet point of Karma, the planet ruling the sign of Ketu is called incoming, or past life, Karmic Control. The planet ruling the sign of Rahu controls Karmic distribution in this life. "Karmic Controlling Planets" have strong implications depending upon where they fall in the chart and the aspect they make with nodal axis. This is of great significance in Karmic AIFAS Research Journal of Astrology lApr.-Jun. 2015

Review understanding. Dr. B.V. Raman in his "Hindu Predictive Astrology" has given Bhava and Rashi Phalas of these nodesRahu and Ketu. One has to keep them in mind. One may also refer to "Chamatkar Chintamani", for detailed Bhava results in different situations. Next point, which is required to be considered for the results of nodes in various houses and Rasis, relates to Laghu Parashari/rules about their Yoga Karakatwa or otherwise. According to 13th Shloka of Laghu Parashari, strong Rahu and Ketu give results of (a) the Bhava occupied by them; and (b) the Bhavas ruled by planet(s) conjunct with them. If Rahu or Ketu or both are in Shubha Bhava, they would give "Shubha Phala"; if in Ashubha Bhava, they would give bad results.

a material prosperity, emanating from Karakatwa of that house in strange ways. Detailed results of Rahu Dasha may be seen from the Commentary of Sarwartha Chintamani, Chapter 15, by great B. Suryanarain Rao. However, following factors may be kept in mind: (a) Rahu in Karkata, Vrishabha or Mesha will give money, education and pleasure and recognition from kings and pleasure from wife, servants and happiness to his soul — 1603. (b) Rahu in Kanya, Meena and Dhanu —will give children, wife, lordship over the country, human conveyances, and in the end loss of all — 1604. (c) Rahu in a malefic sign will cause— bodily leanness. destruction to relations, fear from kings. deception by thieves. venereal complaints. asthma, consumption and urinal troubles — 1605.

Even if Rahu and Ketu are alone in Trikonas — including Lagna, are Shubha, in 4th, 7th, and 10th, they are "Sama"- neither "Shubha" nor "Ashubha"-; and in 3rd, 6th, and 11th, while Rahu is said to be "Arishta Nashaaka". but before doing so it would surely create -Arishta Janya' situation to be Arishta Nashaka-. In 8th and 12th Rahu or Ketu alone would be "Ashubha" ordinarily.

(d) Rahu aspected by a malefic will cause — irreligiousness, loss of service, sickness and rulers and fires — 1606.

If Rahu and Ketu are in above said positions and in Papa Rashi or Papa Navamsha or position-wise in 2nd, 12th, 3rd, 6th or 8th they tend to increasingly reduce happiness from the relations indicated by the Bhava occupied by them — by quarrel and strained relations, by living at great distances; or by lack of birth or untimely sad demise. However, Rahu may cause

(g) Rahu with debilitated planets will indicate— livelihood by despicable means, bad food and wife and worthless children — 1609.

16

(e) Rahu aspected by a benefic will cause — wealth from kings, death to relations — 1607 (f) Rahu with an exalted planet will lead to — gain of kingdom, wife, children and wealth, clothes, ornaments, sweet scents — 1608.

(h) Rahu in the commencement gives sorrow, in the middle, reputation and and change of place in the end and loss of Gurus, parents. etc. — 1610. These qualitative results would increase when Rahu is Vargottama. AIFAS Research Journal of Astrology lApr.-Jun. 2015

a He, the native would be excelling others in his field of activities. The area of activities would depend upon on its Rashi. Navamsha and Nakshatra dispositors and the planet which are conjunct or aspected by Rahu. As per Deva Keralam Vol. V Verse 4850 - 4852 at page 212 Rahu in 2nd: (a) Should Rahu be in the 2nd (Scorpio) in Vargottama Navamsha, the subject will be given to enjoy pleasures. He will incur diseases in childhood. In the middle of his life, he will enjoy a great deal of prosperity. Old age will place him in debts and he will to some extent steal others' wealth. He will be attached to his race, be famous among his family members and will suffer from physical illnesses. He will be honoured by the king of kings, be revered by scholars and will earn fame. (b) If the said Rahu is not in Vargottama, the native's son will be in the grip of debts. Vargottama position will be auspicious. (c) Rahu conjunct a benefic (in Scorpio) will lead to fame.

One learned astrologer has mentioned that malefic planets Mars, Saturn, Rahu and Ketu (and the Sun as well) give auspicious results if they are debilitated or in an enemy sign — such a native becomes proficient in many branches of knowledge. He is sensitive, sympathetic, helpful and virtuous. If the evil planets are exalted, or Vargottama in D-9; the native becomes arrogant, ungrateful irresponsible, haughty, poor and is troubled by the governing authorities. Part-II Expected Results of Vargottama Rahu/Ketu in different positions: One need not say that whenever Rahu is Vargottama Ketu would also be Vargottama. If Dasha of Rahu does not operate in the life of an individual then Dasha of Ketu would be operating in the life of the native. While delineating the results of Vargottama, Rahu and Ketu, one must not forget the comparative importance of one of these two Chhaya Grahas.

One need not repeat that like every other planet Rahu/Ketu also give their results according to their Rashi/Bhava, Nakshatra and Navamsha position. According to Nadi Rule, if Rashi Lord, Nakshatra Lord/and Navamsha Lord are together it will increase Shubha Phala of the concerned planet. This Nadi rule should apply to Rahu and 18

Ketu also. One should watch Vargottama Position and its impact on Shubha Phala in the light of Rashi Lord, Nakshatra Lord and Navamsha Lord at least. a Detailed particulars of the Charts may be found in Notable Horoscopes. Since Rashi Lord and Navamsha Lord are one and the same it could have strong influence on Rahu within the constraints as mentioned in Part I. Nakshatra would also have definite influence but about just one-third of the results and other two third resultsone third each may be attributed to Rashi and Navamsha Lords. Sri Gautama Buddha In his case Rahu was 86 degree 54 minutes i.e. in Gemini Rashi and in the same Navamsha. Hence Rahu as well as Ketu are Vargottama. In his 16th year, Gautama was married to Yasodhara. But as soon as Rahu Bhukti in Shani Dasha commenced — the presence of Rahu in the 12th or Mokshasthana, in Punarvashu III Nakshatra owned by 9th Lord Jupiter; it is further notable that Jupiter is in Ashwini IV Nakshatra owned by Vairagya Karaka Vargottama Ketu. In His 29th year, Buddha, on the day of the birth of his son Rahul, made the great renunciation. He left His young wife and child and wandered into the forest. Rahu is Vargottama in Gemini but in 12th house, in 3rd Pada of Punarvasu owned by the Jupiter in the Navamsha of Gemini. Thus Mercury, the planet ruling Gemini Rashi and Gemini Navamsha has dual influence on Rahu. Nakshatra Lord being Jupiter would also have impact on this Vargottama Rahu. This Rahu is aspected by the debilitated Saturn in Aries with cancellation by four factors (i) Venus, (ii) Mars, (iii) the Sun, and (iv) being in Kendra from Lagna and the Moon both and Saturn AIFAS Research Journal of Astrology l Apr.-Jun. 2015

is Lord of 7th and 8th from Lagna. Seen from Chandra Lagna Rahu is in 5th controlling Buddhi/Dhi. Thus Rahu being 12th (Mokshasthana) Lord —from Lagna and 5th Lord from the Moon, had triple influence of Mercury, Jupiter and Saturn. Saturn had separating effect in so far wife and comforts (Venus), son (Jupiter) were concerned. This happened in Shani Rahu in his 29th year when Saturn would be aspecting Rahu again in the beginning of the 2nd round from the Sun indicator of 5th from Lagna and 11th house from the Moon and Raj Paksha/Raja-Satta. Though Rahu is materialist, this Gyan Vairagya and internal churning to find truth in various ways, led to a different kind of Yoga paving path for establishment of Buddhism. Alexander the Great In his case Rahu was 314 degree 2 minutes i.e. in Aquarius Rashi and in the same Navamsha. Hence Rahu as well as Ketu are Vargottama As per Dr. B.V. Raman's "Notable Horoscopes", Alexander succeeded his father Philip II in Saturn Dasha Rahu Bhukti. Mark Saturn is Lord of the 10th from Lagna and Yogakaraka from Chandra Lagna, occupying as he does, benefic sign and the Nakshatra (Mrigshira II owned by) Lagna Lord Mars. Under the same directions, his father died by assassination. In Rahu Bhukti (Saturn Dasha again the newly-born son of his father by Cleopatra. and Augustus. another cousin were put to death by Alexander. Rahu is Vargottama in Sthir Rashi Sthir Navamsha in the Nakshatra of "Shatbhisa III. It is Pancham Navamsha. Jatakabharanam and Hora 19

Review Ratnam extol this Navamsha position of any planet by holding out that even if one planet is in its Panchamamsa the native will become a king; and if that planet in addition be endowed with all kinds of strength, he will be emperor "Shatbhisaj III- has this advantage in addition to its quality to cure all diseases and to revitalize. It has also the quality to remove all the obstacles in one's progress by removing them. Alexander's' chart establishes this fact. Sri Ramanujacharya In case of Ramanujacharya Rahu was 43 degree 42 minutes i.e. in Taurus Rashi and in the same Navamsha. Hence Rahu as well as Ketu are Vargottama. It is in Pancham Navamsha; Pushkar Navamsha and Vargottamamsa. Consequently, Rahu had triple advantage position wise. In his case in Jupiter Dasha Rahu Bhukti, the master Ramanujacharya sent away his wife and became a Sanyasi. Mark the position of Rahu in the 12th from the 7th Lord (from the Moon) and the unique disposition of Jupiter from Chandra Lagna. Rahu is Vrishabha 5th Navamsha i.e. Rohini II owned by Lagna Lord Moon. Rahu has separating effect from relation indicated by Bhava Karakatwa of Bhava Lord and Nakshatra Lord. It is in 12th- from Lagna Lord the Moon and Jupiter i.e. 9th and 6th Lord from Lagna. From Chandra Lagna it is in 12th. Moon carries Rahu's separating influence on Jupiter. Venus, Karaka for wife is combust. Saturn 7th from Lagna and in 7th in Chandra Lagna is also spoiling Jupiter by its separating aspect. Rahu, the materialist is converted to spiritualist by association 20

a of its Nakshatra Lord Moon to Vairagya (Gyan Karaka) Jupiter and Saturn. Navamsha Lagna Lord Venus though in its own Nakshatra Bharani, is combust; in the sign of Mars and with its Neecha Lord Mercury and Shatru the Sun. Hence, Venus is weak. Thus Bhoga was suppressed by the above factors and Vairagya developed. This is to be noted that Ketu the Mokshakaraka is in Nakshatra of Saturn. Influence of Saturn, Jupiter and Ketu together on 4th house or 4th Lord causes Vairagya. Here Venus is influenced by Ketu the Nakshatra Lord, by Saturn as Nakshatra dispositer of Saturn and Mars i.e. Rashi dispositer of Venus and by the conjunction of combusting Sun and Mercury Lord of his debilitation sign Virgo. And the Moon Manah Karak in Mokshasthana is aspected by Saturn Vairagya Karaka and is conjunct with Jupiter Gyan karaka. Queen Victoria In case of Queen Victoria Rahu was 358 degree 17 minutes i.e. in Pisces Rashi and in the same Navamsha. Hence Rahu as well as Ketu are Vargottama Dr. B.V. Raman observed that Victoria ascended the throne in 1837 when she was having Rahu Dasha Jupiter Bhukti. Jupiter is dominantly placed and Rahu the major Lord is in Vargottama and in Revati IV the constellation of Mercury 2nd and 5th Lord. The years immediately following her accession were the least sensible and satisfactory time in her whole life", probably due to the situation of Jupiter in Dhanistha II the constellation of Mars who in his turn is afflicted. In 1840 she was married to her cousin Albert in Rahu Dasha Saturn Bhukti. AIFAS Research Journal of Astrology lApr.-Jun. 2015

a Mark the fact that both major and subLords are in Rashi association and under the same directional influences the first issue, a daughter, was born. As the Maha Dasha Lord Vargottama Rahu is in the constellation of the 5th Lord Mercury, seven issues were born in Rahu Dasha and two issues in Jupiter Dasha. Ketu is Vargottama in 5th in Virgo, increased the propensity to give children. Mars 7th Lord is also Vargottama in Revati IV and Saturn is 9th and 10th Lord in Kireeti Dwadashamsa and in Virgo in Pushkar Navamsha or say in Mantramsa or Putramsa as per Bhagya Suchaka Navamsha. Bala Gangadhara Tilak In case of Tilak Rahu was 358 degree 57 minutes i.e. in Pisces Rashi and in the same Navamsha. Hence Rahu as well as Ketu are Vargottama. Tilak was sentenced to eighteen month' rigorous imprisonment in September 1897 in Sun Dasha Moon Bhukti. Sun is in Pushya II owned by Saturn. Saturn is 7th and 8th Lord posited in 12th in Nakshatra of Rahu Aridra. Rahu's placement in Sarpa Nigad and Vyala Drekkana, coupled with aspect of Saturn on Rahu and 8th Lordship of Saturn, titled the balance. As regards the Moon, he is in Raudra Drekkana; one should not be surprised that the Moon is in Revati I , Nakshatra owned by 12th Lord Mercury, posited in 12th Ketu is in Chitra II Nakshatra owned by 5th and 10th Lord in 4th house. The Sun and the Moon have caused Bandhana Yoga, by virtue of the former joining Lord of the 11th in Lagna and the latter joining Rahu in the 9th aspected by Saturn. could give the results of the benefic Jupiter. It is said and experienced that Rahu absorbs good results of planets conjuncts with it. Here Vargottama Rahu is associated with Lagna Lord the Moon and 9th Lord Jupiter. This led to his release and name and fame also. Dr. B.V Raman observed "The most outstanding combinations in this horoscope are: the glorified position of Lord of Lagna in the 9th with the 9th Lord and affliction of this combination by Saturn and Rahu. resulting in obstruction of the free flow of fortunate influences and the presence of Bandhana Yogas or combinations for incarceration causing great suffering. Tilak suffered a lot for the country. He was a born fighter as revealed by the dominating position of Mars and he will be remembered forever for the inspiring legacy that he has left to India in the thought "Swaraj is my birthright". He was essentially a man of religion as revealed by the position of Jupiter. It may be asked whether Jupiter-Rahu association has not caused GuruChandala Yoga. The answer would be that the Yoga stands neutralized by the fact that Rahu is in the constellation of Mercury and is removed from Jupiter by nearly 10째. Rahu's situation in the Nakshatra of Mercury who is Mokshasthanadhipati and the entire combination receiving the aspect of Saturn from Mokshasthana gave him a living faith in God. Otherwise, he would not have said at the time of his conviction that "there are higher powers that rule the destinies of things and it may be the will of Providence that the cause which I represent should prosper more by my suffering than by my remaining free". and Ketu of 44° 55' in Vrishabha in 4th & 10th respectively. His Ketu was 44 degree 55 minutes i.e. in Taurus Rashi and in the same Navamsha. Hence Rahu as well as Ketu are Vargottama. Both are in Pancham Navamsha and Vargottamamsa. Ketu is in Pushkar Navamsha as well. Consequently, Ketu had triple advantage position wise.

George Bernard Shaw

He was born with balance of Rahu Dasha of 6 years, 7 month and 20 days. So nothing particularly notable could have happened. See Ketu Dasha which started on 10.2.1940. Dr. B.V. Raman in his notable horoscopes observed that " Ketu dasha Commenced on 19. 2.1940 "Ketu Dasha commenced on 19-2-1940 and was a momentous one in his life. He won two presidential elections: the famous Atlantic Charter was born, and the major share was taken in winning the war. Ketu is in the 10th from Lagna and Venus, whose result Ketu should give, is Lord of the 10th and is placed in the 6th with the Sun, Lord of Lagna. From Chandra Lagna, Ketu is in the 12th — the house of losses. In Navamsha, Ketu occupies the 7th aspected by Mars and Jupiter and is in the 4th from Chandra Lagna. Thus Ketu is well placed to give Roosevelt name, power, influence, prestige and victory over enemies. But for Ketu's strong disposition Roosevelt would not have been able to retain his hold on the imagination of the people, nor could he have successfully battled against the cash and carry legislation which prevented utmost and being given to the Western allies. He died as soon as Saturn's sub-period commenced in Ketu Dasha . It will be seen that Ketu presides over the 3rd star, from that held by Saturn, going under the name

Rahu being 358° 14' is Vargottama in Pisces Rashi and the same Navamsha. Hence Rahu as well as Ketu are Vargottama. Dr. Raman observed that "In Rahu Dasha , he had smallpox which left him unscarred. From then on, he became an opponent of vaccination. His real financial prosperity began only from Jupiter Dasha and Venus Bhukti. Jupiter is Dhanakaraka and occupies the 11th and Venus as Lord of Lagna is in an Upachaya. Rahu Dasha extended till 1888 and Rahu enabled him to expand his intellectual outlook. Between1876-1885 he wrote five novels". It may be noted that Rahu is in the constellation of Revati, owned by 2nd and 5th Lord Mercury. Rahu was to give the result of Mercury and Navamsha Lord of Pisces — Jupiter. Thus 5th and 11th connection and influence made him to write 5 novels to earn name and fame. See the effect of Ketu. Vargottama in Virgo in Chitra II, owned by 12th and 7th Lord Mars, aspected by Jupiter in its own sign Pisces and own Navamsha Dhanu — bringing a lot of sarcasm and satire. In Dasha of Vargottama Mercury and in Bhukti Vargottama Ketu he won the Nobel Prize. Franklin Delano Roosevelt In his case Rahu was 224° 55' in Scorpio 22

Amazing Predictions by Shakun Jyotish and Prashna Jyotish Anil Aggarwala

One of the most amazing experience the author have had regarding Shakun, Prashna, and Birth Chart, when he was on his visit to his son in Singapore in Janurary 2013. Here he is going to discuss his Predictions by Shakun Jyotish and Prashna Jyotish and some Research therein. He got a message from his associate that one of the clients wants to have some Predictions done from him and wanted to talk regarding the same. He passed on author's mobile number of Singapore to his associate who in turn passed it on to the client. He was in his Son's house then getting ready to leave for some excursion and shopping and then was in the car when he received a call from this client inquiring about the outcome of an Interview which he had given for a Job on the 30th Jan 2013. Author had earlier predicted for him that he would get a Job with increase in status and very good emoluments, before 31st Jan 2013. The Query was on the 1st Feb. 2013 at 15-23 hrs Singapore. When he was on the call from this client, just then the car stopped at the Red light point for a minute and then there were all green signals thereafter till the destination point where author had to go. The total distance travelled by the author in the car was about 4.5 Kms. 01.02.2013, 15:23, Singapore The Redlight point where the car had Ke 3 1 stopped was after 4 2 12 Ju about 3.5 Km. Hence if we convert 11 5 Ma it into Navamsha 10 9 navamsha =4.5 6 8 Me Mo Su Km,therefore 1 7 9 Ve Sa Ra navamsha =0.5 Km and since the AIFAS Research Journal of Astrology l Apr.-Jun. 2015

distance left was 1 Km the navamsha left were 2 approx or less. At the time of query the Lagna was Taurus and by the above calculation covered Navamsha 7 navamshas plus. The Lagna will 6 4 Me therefore be Taurus 3 5 Mo 7 23.20 degrees plus Ra Su and the navamsha 2 8 Ma Lagna will be Leo. 11 Both Fixed signs Ve 1 9 and Jupiter in Ju Ke 10 12 Lagna in Taurus Sa in query chart and becoming direct a day before the Query acquires a special dimension, specially when it is also the 11th Lord. Here was the prime role of Jupiter, Sun and Mars in the Prashna chart, more so since the car stopped at the redlight point first and then there after no stoppage and finally reaching the destination. It was considered the Redlight as Mars posing a Problem. Hence the author concluded that there will be success after some hurdles. Degrees of Mars around 5.00 roughly and so author could tell the client that there was some Problem created by a Male Person in the interview Board, and there will be stop and go like activity, and finally he will be selected, but there Dashamsha will be hinderances initially, since 6 Ra as per Krishna 3 4 5 Me 7 Neeyam, Mars Ve aspect on Jupiter is 2 8 not good and that Ju Mo 11 to from the 10th 1 9 house of the query 10 12 chart. Jupiter is a Ke Su Sa Ma slow moving planet 23

Review and Mars faster than Jupiter and Jupiter degrees high or than Mars and hence Jupiter closer to the Lagna degrees than Mars and Mars would move from 10th house earlier than Jupiter in Lagna. Hence more influence of Jupiter on the Lagna to ultimately give the native a Thumping Success. Jupiter is digbali in Lagna and Mars digbali in the 10th house. As per Prashna Jyotish Jupiter in Lagna gives very strong positive results, so it was conveyed this to him after 5 minutes of calculations for the navamsha etc. It was also told that Company for which the interview has taken place is an MNC and the Indian share holder is a women and is represented by a young male in the Interview board. 7th house is 2nd job for which the interview has taken place and is a Scorpio female sign and Mars owner of 7th and 12th house placed in 10th house in Aquarius a male sign. Hence the person is a young HR Executive and would pose hinderances for his appointment as per instructions by the female share holder. Client replied in affirmative and was amazed. The analysis is as below for the confirmation of the above Lagna Taurus and 23.49째 almost what was calculated roughly as mentioned above. Panchang Elements 1. Day Friday- Benefic Day Lord is Venus 2. Tithi KP-6 -Not Malefic 3. Karana - Gara - Not malefic 4. Nakshatra - Hasta - Moon is placed in the 5th house in a friendly sign. As per Krishna neeyam Moon and Mercury are friendly planets in Prashna. 5th house/ lord are placed alongwith Mercury and Jupiter and Mercury influencing the 9th house of Bhagya is also a very strong combination together with Sun in 9th house and Lagna becoming urdhwamukh. Since Lagna and Navamsha Lagna both fixed and influenced by Jupiter, positive results after hinderances. Sun Rise time 07:19:42 hrs. and Query time is 15:23, hence the difference is 08:03:18 hrs or 8:55 hrs. Hora Lord Mercury, acquisition of 24

a learning as well as wealth, also good for starting new buisness, trade etc. The Query time is in the 3rd Yama ( Each Yama of 3 hours). The Day lord Venus is placed in the sign of Sun in this chart and in Prashna chart Venus and the Sign Lord of Leo Sun are together which shows fructification of Results, Day lord Venus is also Lagnesh, Karyesh Saturn 10th Lord for the Job in the Yama chart is in the sign of Virgo and its Lord Mercury and Saturn in Prashna chart are in 4/10 axis, excellent placement and Lord of Virgo Mercury is with Venus and Sun. Day Lord and Lagnesh Venus is aspected by Jupiter as 11th lord placed in Lagna is a strong connection to give strong fructification.. Uday Lagna Taurus, Arudha Lagna Virgo and Moon influenced by Jupiter and they in trine from each other, hence strong positive results. Uday Lagna is Taurus Fixed sign and having Jupiter a 100% benefic in Lagna is a strong Positive, Arudha lagna is Virgo and Chaitra Rashi is Aquarius. Future is a Shirshodayo sign, therefore Uday Lagna, Arudha Lagna and Moon placed there is most powerful as influenced by Jupiter. All the 3 Lagnas become strong to give the results. The 5th Lord Mercury along with Jupiter also placed very well to give the Poorva Punya good results. Chaitra Rashi is also 4/10 axis with Uday lagna is also not bad but till Mars transit in this sign will pose hinderances. Jupiter's ingress in this sign will give him further growth. In Navamsha the Lagna is Leo a fixed sign is very good since both Rashi chart and Navamsha are fixed signs and again aspected by Jupiter. Hence the change will be positive but will fructify after sometime and with hurdles since Mars has gone in its sign Scorpio and again aspecting the 10th house of Navamsha. It was also told that the Indian equity female partner will sell her share and quit, since as per timing of the fructification Mars was totally combust and in the 12th house of the Prashna chart. Amazingly she sold her Equity and quit the MNC. The Timing of the event predicted was as AIFAS Research Journal of Astrology lApr.-Jun. 2015

a follows : Mars being the planet in Kendra with minimum degrees will pose problems as mentioned above. On the day of Interview, Jupiter was retrograde and on the query day it was Direct and Stationary and very strong to give positive results. Jupiter in Lagna stay will be longer than Mars in the 10th house to influence the Lagna, Jupiter is in the 4th navamsha and in fixed sign so it may take months and to reach the 23.49 degrees. Now the difference of degrees of the lagna and Jupiter = 23.49-12.18=11.31 degrees but since Jupiter is in Rohini, the result will fructify when Jupiter is in Rohini Nakshatra and enters the last pada, hence 20.00 degrees plus Jupiter since when Jupiter goes in Mars Nakshatra it will not give benefic results and in Prashna Chart Moon is also placed well and aspected by Jupiter. ANALYSIS OF THE HOROSCOPE The 5th house sub lord Venus ( the radiation flows indigo) is placed in the barren sign Gemini, 8th house and conjoined with the lord of 2nd & 5th aspected by Rahu (Ultraviolet Radiation) to make poison to obstruct the birth. Again, Saturn (Violet Radiation) by 10th aspects the house of 2nd and 5th. According to radiation theory, if the reflection of Violet & Ultraviolet radiation focus in negative direction on the positive radiation blue then everything will be negative and create uncertainty about birth. The sublord of 2nd cusp, Mercury (Green radiation), the planet of the barren sign Gemini & Virgo, owner of 8th & 11th and placed also in 8th and posited in the star of Jupiter and sub of Saturn, which are reflected in opposite direction due to Jupiter, the owner of 2 & 5, is aspected by Saturn (Violet Radiation) by fifth aspects and also aspects Sagittarius, the house of Jupiter by 10th aspect, it creates obstacles and obstructions for the formation of the birth. In other words, the angles of the radiation Violet & Ultraviolet create obstacles through their radiation on the House of progeny. So, it is needed for judgement how it will be positive or not, it is a question mark to the wise astrologers. Astrologer must try to create remedial measure to get rid of the 27

Birth Time Rectification in K.P Dr. S.P Gaur

There are various methods for conforming the birth nakshatra or Lagna rashi in Parashari System falling under the following categories as mentioned in "Jyotish Ratnakar" : (a) By comparing the Lagna degrees with Pranpada degrees. (b) Conforming the Lagna rashi or birth nakshatra from the position of birth chart Moon, Gulik, Mandi or Sun's nakshatra indicating birth of a human being. (c) Conforming the birth lagna from door's direction of delivery room/home. (d) Ascertaining the lagna by verifying physical features of he native. Any of the above four ways can be applicable. Moreover there are various permutation and combination specially under (b) above. The detailed but complicated exercise is mentioned under "Nashta Jatakam" or lost horoscopy but its practical utility is doubtful and only an expert astrologer will dare to attempt this excercise. There is another dimension to correct recording of birthtime. Which of these timings would qualify for exact birth time : - When the body of the baby is sighted (crowning) - When the body of the baby completely comes out of the womb - When the umbilical cord is cut and the infant becomes independent of mother - When the infant cries and takes first breath on its own - When the child is conceived (called AIFAS Research Journal of Astrology l Apr.-Jun. 2015

Adhan or Nishek) Scholars differ in their opinion which one of the above should be adopted as a standard because our old classics also did not point out any specific recommendation. I need not mention here that the birth time is akin to the foundation of birth chart and if foundation is erratic, the results or predictions indicated cannot be reliable. It is here that the method devised under Krishnamurthi Paddhati for Lagna correction comes to our aid. It gives us a specific answer to arrive at the correct time of the birth by calculating the exact degree of the lagna's longitude. This is based upon the query chart (Prashna Kundali) analysed from K.P. angle differing from Parashari principles. We need to be conversant with the 249 Number table and concept of Ruling Planets as enunciated in K.P. before applying them in birth time correction. Table of 249 Numbers As we are aware, there are 27 constellations or nakshatras in the zodiac of 3600, thus each nakshatra comprises of 13020'. In K.P., every nakshatra is divided into 9 parts, belonging to mahadasha of 9 planets in Vimshottari dasha system having a complete cycle of 120 years. For example, if we have to calculate share of Rahu, which has mahadasha period of 18 years., it would be as follows : In 120 yrs. cycle, Rahu's mahadasha = 18 yrs. In 130-20' or 800' of Nakshatra, Rahu's Share = 800'ĂŽ18/120=120'=20 29

Every planet is lord of 3 nakshatras. For example Ketu is lord of Ashwini, Magha & Moola nakshatras. Ashwini nakshatra is divided into 9 parts and lord of each division is one of the 9 planets, here starting from Ketu, followed by Ve, Su, Mo....... ending with Me. They are called sub lords or (upnakshatra swami). Each division is given a number starting from Ashwini i.e Aries rashi to Revati in Pisces from 1 to 249. Now a question arises - why 249 numbers instead of 243 (27Î9=243)? For the answer, please refer to the table. At number 22 & 23, 105 & 106, 188 & 189 we find sub lord Rahu's share is split in Aries-Taurus, Leo-Virgo and SagittariusCapricorn, resulting in increase of 3 numbers. Similary sub lord Moon also stands split at number 62-63, 145-146 and 228-229 in the respective signs of Gemini-Cancer, Libra-Scorpio and Aquarius-Pisces, resulting in addition of another 3 numbers. That is why the table comprises of 249 instead of 243 numbers. Each sub can also be divided into 9 subsubs in the same way an Antardasha is divided into a Pratyantar Dasha. Generally no further divisions are needed in practice but just like Pratyantar Dasha is divided 30

in 9 Sukshma dashas and a Sukshma dasha into 9 Pran Dashas, Same way a sub-sub can be further divided into subsub-sub and sub-sub-sub-sub divisions. The 249 number Table is utilized to identify the signlord, star/Nakshstra lord, sub and sub-sub lords etc. while deciding upon ruling planets at the query time. Ruling Planets : In Prashna Jyotish, it is assumed that the Prashna Karta or querist, himself comes with the answer to his query. 'Shakun' Jyotish deals in a comprehensive manner to make judicious use of the divine indicators for answering the query. Every event and its timing is preplanned. KP also believes in this theory and has devised Ruling planets' concept, which is very crucial in all kinds of predictions including birth lagna correction. Ruling planets (RP) are the planets which have their vital influence at the time of making or receiving a query or prashna. Initially Sh.Krishnamurthi described the following planets as RP's : 1. Lagna lord at the time and place of query 2. Star lord of Moon's Star 3. Rashi lord of Moon's rashi 4. Day lord Rahu or Ketu will also qualify to be RP's, if their rashi lord appears as one of the RP's. Rahu/Ketu are treated as regular planets though other retrograde planets are discarded generally as they are not supposed to have any influence. Planets falling in the stars of retrograde planets are also discarded. The above RP's are given in order of their merits. But later on other scholars of KP added sub lord and star lord of the Lagna over and above the list given. Though sub lord has been given special importance in KP but personally the AIFAS Research Journal of Astrology lApr.-Jun. 2015

author is in favour of star lord of the Lagna being at the top for the purpose of birth time rectification. So the merit list of RP's will be as under :

In such a case lagna lord or lagna star lord may not appear as RP's, so look for sub and sub-sub lord only to finalise the lagna degrees.

1. Star lord of the lagna

When the lagna falls on cusp or border

2. Lagna lord

When as per the information provided by the native is such that lagna rashi can be say either Leo or Virgo. Now we have to see the RP's. If Sun is there choose Leo, If Mercury is there choose Virgo lagna. If both of them are there, choose one that is of higher order.

3. Star lord of Moon's star 4. Rashi lord of Moon's rashi 5. Day lord Principles for lagna correction Generally the querist has some knowledge about his birth time. We have to trust him about that approximate timing and proceed further to rectify that timing. For example he may say that he was born in early morning from 4 AM to 7AM or in the afternoon from 1PM To 4PM or say in the evening, or around midnight. We have to verify that approximate time duration during which some 2 to 3 lagnas would have elapsed. Among the RP's a particular lagna lord may appear more than once but we should choose the RP of the highest order to specify the lagna during which the native was born. Thereafter we may select the nakshatra/star of the lagna, sub and sub-sub lord out of the ruling planets only and come to the exact longitude of the lagna with the help of the 249 number table. Once the lagna degrees minutes are specified, the exact time of the birth can be easily worked out from duration of the lagna. Only the panchang of the place of birth or of any city nearby will be required for referring to lagna and its duration. Year of Panchang is not important because there is hardly any difference in the lagna timings. We know that on an average one lagna rashi of 300 remains in the eastern horizon for about 2 hours, thus it takes about 4 minutes to cover 10 of lagna or 4 seconds to cover 1' or Kala. When the difference in birth time is in minutes only AIFAS Research Journal of Astrology l Apr.-Jun. 2015

When the difference is of an hour In such a case generally lagna rashi remains same but lagna star changes. So we have to identify the star lord which appears in the ruling and proceed to precise timing by selecting the range of sub and sub-sub lord. When the timing known is vague The native may say he was born in the morning or say night but has no idea about even approximate time. Then we have to select a lagna, whose rashi lord, lagna nakshatra lord, sub and sub-sub lords out of the RP's. When only date is known In such a case importance will be given to the star lord of the Moon, sub-star lord of Moon to decide upon lagna rashi and proceed further with the help of lagna star, sub-star and sub-sub star out of the RP's. This will require Panchang of the birth year. When only month is known Select the date when Moon passes through the nakshatra and rashi of the strongest among the RP's. Then decide the time when Moon passes through the sub-star of a ruling planet. Then select the lagna, lagna-star and sub-star for precise timing. Panchang of the birth year will be required to work out the periods. When only year of birth is known 31

In such a case Sun's transit is made use of. Select the rashi and nakshtra of Sun's transit from RP's. Then select the date when Moon passes through the nakshatra and rashi of a ruling planet. Then proceed to fine tune the timing by selecting the lagna, lagna star and sub star. In such a case it would be better to include sub-star lord of the lagna as the ruling planet of the first order. Panchang of birth year will be required. Role of Retrograde Planets Sun and Moon are never retrograde and Rahu & Ketu which are always retrograde, are considered at par with Sun & Moon which are always in direct motion. while rectifying the birth timing, ignore the retrograde planet or the planet in the star of a retrograde planet, which in fact is more serious. But if it becomes unavoidable, even a retrograde planet can be used. If there is option to select Rahu/ Ketu or another direct motion planet, then Rahu/Ketu be preferred. Thus compared to Parashari, Krishnamurthi Paddhati (KP) is highly useful and devoid of ambiguity in rectification of birth time. Illustration Suppose a native was born in Delhi on 23.04.2000 between 1 to 5 PM and the query was raised at 19:20 hrs on 29.01.2015 to find out the exact time of birth. With the help of Panchang or computer software, we find out the Ruling planets, which are as follows : 1. Star lord of Lagna 2. Lagna lord 3. Star lord of Moon 4. Rashi lord of Moon 5. Day lord

: : : : :

Ketu Sun Moon Venus Jupiter

Now from a panchang of Delhi, we can find out that on 23rd April between 2 to 5 32

PM the following lagnas prevailed. Cancer : 11:12 to 13:32 (Moon) Leo

: 13:32 to 15:49 (Sun)

Virgo

: 15:49 to 18:05 (Mercury)

Since Mercury is not among the RP's but Sun is there we shall take Leo as the Lagna rashi because Sun is of higher order than Moon. By referring to 249 Number table, we find 3 nakshatras viz. Magha of Ketu, P.Phalguni of Venus and U.Phalguni of Sun. All the 3 are included in RP's. Since Ketu is of first order, we will select Magha which runs from 0:00:00 to 13°:20':00" in Leo. Now that we have utilized Ketu and Sun for sub lord, we will prefer Moon which runs from 3°:40':00" to 4°:46':40" in Magha star at number 87 of the table. Average can be worked out to be at 4°-13' which can be taken as longitude of Leo lagna. Leo lagna on 23rd April, starts at 13:32 and ends at 15:49, thus takes 2 hr. 17m. to cover 30°. By simple arithmatic, we can calculate that it would take 18m 25 sec. to reach at 4°-13'. Thus the time of birth will be (13h32m) + (18m25s) = 13 h 50 m 25 s or say 13:51 hrs. For further accuracy, we can utilize subsub of Venus which runs, from 40 : 43' : 20" to 40 : 46' : 40", averaging to be 40 : 45', which would work out to be 13h 52m 44s as the rectified time of birth. This is good enough though further fine tuning would also be possible by opting for subsub-sub of Jupiter, the only remaining ruling planet. So we can take the time of birth at 13h 52m 44s or 13h 53m. Thus with the help of ruling planets under K.P. we can easily and accurately rectify the birth time of a native. We have to proceed on the basis of whatever rough estimate of birth time is given to us by the native. Astrologers practising Parashari can take help of KP in birth time rectification for unambiguous results. r AIFAS Research Journal of Astrology lApr.-Jun. 2015

In 2009, Dhoni also led the Indian team to number one position for the first time in the ICC Test rankings. He announced his retirement from Tests in December 2014. 36

Let's study his chart from the perspective of Pythagorean Numerology and try to find out the elements in his birth date and Name which made him earn such a distinction and recognition. We have taken the period from 2000 to 2012 for the study. Due to his cool and calm approach in the field, he has rightly been recognised as captain cool. Highest score 7 is on Physical Plane, an analytical, specialised and introvert number. No doubt it provided Dhoni excessive energy and capability to analyse the situation quickly on the cricket ground and take quick decisions, his work is specialised either as a captain or wicket keeper and is

not very talkative and often criticised for not talking much with the fellow players and directing them always. Second highest number is on Mental Plane given by an artistic, creative and talented number 6 which gave him the creative talent to discover new shots in his armoury and his helicopter shot is well known to the world. It also gave him the artistic talent which he displays very often in his commercial endorsements. His Talent Number 6, Destiny Number 9, Habit Number 9 and Ultimate Number 6 indicate that he should have been an artist or an actor but probably the absence of number 3 and outstanding challenges-0, 6, 6 & 6 along with Personality Number 5, Heart Number- 22/4, Special Frequency of 4 (3 times) and 8(3 times) prohibited him from being an artist or an actor. Dhoni belonged to an average family but his highest number 7 on Physical Plane made him to direct his energy in any specific and specialized field while the Talent Number 6 and Destiny Number 9 supported by Pinnacle 5 and

Personality Number 5 provided him the support to do well in his endeavours. His Talent Number 15/6 consists of 1, 5 & 6 which give him the qualities of taking initiative, leadership, freedom, intelligence and creativity. His Heart Number 22/4 shows his desire to succeed in big endeavours. No doubt, living true to all these numbers Dhoni starting his career from scratch moved ahead gradually step by step. He started his professional career as a ticket checker in railway but also playing cricket side by side on different levels. Very soon he got recognition in cricket when he was selected in under-19 World Cup Team and his team won the cup. His performance was good enough to catch the eye of national selectors. From here on Dhoni didn’t look back and succeeded to find a berth in Indian team and soon became the Captain. Not only this but he became the most successful captain of India in a very short span of time and under his able leadership India won two World Cups- World Cup T-20 in 2007 and World Cup ODI in 2011 as well as his IPL team Chennai Super Kings also became champion for two consecutive time in 2010 and 2011.

Number was 3, Personal Year 3, Current Year 7, Birth Force Period 7 and Pinnacle 5 indicating fantastic time for achievements, honour and recognition.

Let us now examine some of the important and remarkable events of his life. He made his debut in ODI team in 2004. In 2004, he was under the influence of Event Number 9, Personal Year 2, Pinnacle 5, Current Year 6 and the subtle forces of Birth Force Period 7. The period is quite favourable for such achievements. In 2005, he made his debut in Test Team and became No.1 ODI batsman in the world. In 2005, his Event

World Cup 2015 is going on. Till date India has defeated all the teams prior to the semi final. But on semifinal day it appears that Dhoni's star being the captain is not up to the mark. It may be that Dhoni's own performance may blossom but there are chances that Indian team in entirety won't perform as a unit and thus will lose to Australia. Thus India's chances to defend the world cup title seem to end here. r

38

In 2007, India won T-20 World Cup under his captaincy. Again his Event Number was 3, Personal Year 5 and Pinnacle 5 supported by other favourable numbers. So, this was the time for some extraordinary achievements. In 2010 and 2011, he captained his IPL team CSK for two straight championship wins. Again all the numbers were very favourable for his success. In April 2011, he made the impossible possible when he won the ODI World Cup after a gap of 28 years. He championed the cause when he was under the influence of Event Number 26/8, Personal Year 8, Pinnacle 5. Readers must take into account that the occurrence of the Event Number 26/8 for continuous 3-4 years indicates ups and downs. So, it may be the reason of India’s dismal performance in England in late 2011 and early 2012 against Australia under the captaincy of M.S. Dhoni and for which he has to face lots of criticism.
