What is more Accurate Dasha or Transit

In Vedic astrology we have two methods for calculating time. First dasha and second transit. Most astrologers make maximum use of dasha for calculating time, some astrologers especially western astrologers, use only transit. Some astrologers use both. What is more accurate, can better results be obtained by using both the methods? Let us do an analysis:-

Dasha Method :- Many types of Dashas are described in Brihat Parashar Hora Shastra, the main one being 120 years Vimshottari dasha. Other dashas are Ashtottari, Shodashottari, Dwadshottari, Panchottari, Shatabdika, Chaturshiti Sama, Dwisamptati Sama, Shashtihayani, Shatrimshata Sama Dashas are based on Nakshatra. Apart from this many dasha like Kaal Dasha, Kaalchakra Dasha, Char Dasha, Sthir Dasha, Kendra Dasha, Karak Dasha, Brahma Graha Dasha, Manduki Dasha, Shool Dasha, Yogardha Dasha, Drig Dasha, Trikon Dasha, Rashi Dasha, Panchaswar Dasha, Yogini Dasha, Pinda Dasha, Ansh Dasha, Naisargik Dasha, Tara Dasha etc. are also prevalent. Description of about 42 types of dashas is found here.

In each dasha, the dasha order of the planets and their dasha period is different. Their method of calculation also varies considerably. It is difficult to say why the particular Dasha sequence was kept and how the Dasha period was decided. Therefore, it seems that various sages told all this on the basis of their imagination or experience. Also, except a few situations, in most of the situations, no rules have been given as to which Dasha should be used in which circumstances. In this way, it is not known in which condition what dasha should be used.

In some dashas, there are rules describing when to use the dasha e.g. if Rahu is in the Kendra or Trikona from the Lagna Lord but not in the Lagna then Ashtottari dasha is used. It contains the dasha of all the planets except Ketu. If the ascendant is in the Moon's hora in Krishna Paksha or the Sun's hora in Shukla Paksha, then Shodashottari dasha is used. Dwadshottari dasha is used only for those native whose ascendant is in Venus Navamsha. If both the ascendant and Dwadashamsha ascendant is in Cancer then Panchottari dasha is used. Shatabdika dasha is used in the horoscope of Vargottam ascendant. If the tenth lord is in the tenth house then Chaturshiti Sama Dasha is used. In this way, the conditions of use have been stated in many cases but not in all cases. The astrologer has to use a particular dasha according to his experience. Also, where condition for dasha has been mentioned, it becomes applicable in more than one dasha system.

If we solve the condition, it may happen that where Dwadshottari Dasha is used, the situation of Panchottari or Shatabdika Dasha is also fulfilled. In such a situation, it is very difficult to decide which dasha to apply and which not to apply. If two dashas are applied then the results get different. Thus, a selection illusion remains in the Dasha system.

To test how meaningful the Dasha method is, we conducted a massive research in which Dasha and Antardasha were calculated on the marriage date of 2500 native and presented in the form of a graph. This graph is given below. If we look at the graph of Mahadasha, it appears that there are special chances of marriage in the dashas of Sun and Rahu. Some yogas of marriage are formed more in the dasha of Jupiter also, there is no special difference in other dashas.

If we observe the facts closely, it becomes clear that this difference comes due to the variation in Mahadasha period. For example, children born at the end of the dasha of Venus and children born during the dasha of Sun

Mahadasha results in marriage

Transit

and Moon will get married at the age of 25-30 years i.e. during the dasha of Rahu. It is only before Rahu that the 3 Nakshatras of Sun, Moon and Mars have less dasha period. This does not happen in other Nakshatras, there children born under one Nakshatra get married in the next Nakshatra. Ketu is also a Nakshatra before Venus. Children born in the Nakshatra of full Ketu get married in the Nakshatra of the Sun, along with this, the marriage of some people born in the Nakshatra of Mercury and some of Venus also takes place in the Nakshatra of the Sun. In this way, there are more marriages in Sun Nakshatra than in other Nakshatras.

Similarly, if we look at the Antardashas, most of the marriages are found in Rahu-Saturn because the people born in almost full Sun Nakshatra get married in the Nakshatras of Rahu-Jupiter and Rahu-Saturn.

Similarly, people born in the Nakshatra of Mars get married at the beginning of Jupiter's Mahadasha, during the Antardashas of Jupiter-Jupiter and Jupiter-Saturn. Therefore, the difference in the results of different dashas is not according to the truth of the dashas but only due to the duration of the dashas and their sequence.

The difference of opinion of Ayanamsha also makes the role of Dasha very weak. Due to difference in Ayanamsha, there is difference in the degrees of the Moon and this leads to difference in Dasha. The use of Dasha in this manner is highly doubtful.

Transit : In transit, it is seen in which house all the planets are passing in comparison to the natal planets. This action is completely based on the planets and not on some numbers or sequences which are given to the planets in the dasha. We see the transit from both ascendant and Moon sign. The horoscope of the time for which we are calculating planet degrees is known as transit horoscope. Because it keeps changing all the time, hence its calculation can be seen on computer very well but this is

not static so it is not given in the computer horoscope. This is the reason why the calculation of transit has to be done in the brain itself whereas the calculation of dasha is obtained in advance. For this reason the use of transit is more difficult than the use of dasha. Dasha is visible in front whereas transit has to be computed while using it. Not only this, information about when the planet is moving direct or retrograde, when it is combust, when it is transiting to other planets or houses, all these are also necessary. For this, display of circular horoscope in computer proves to be very helpful. In this we can see the transit of planets on a daily basis. Along with this, you can clearly see on which planet the planet is transiting or on which parts of the house it is moving. You can also see in which house the planets are transiting in relation to the natal horoscope. This program can be seen clearly not only on computer but also on mobile. This is the reason that due to the advent of computers in astrology, the usage of transits is increasing and the accuracy in giving predictions is increasing.

Secondly, in the use of transit, Ayanamsha also does not make any difference. Whatever may be the Ayanamsha, due to its subtraction equally from both the degrees of the birth planets and the degrees of the transiting planets, the distance of the transiting planets from the birth planets remains the same. Hence the transit can be used with more confidence.

Should both Dasha and Transit be used:

This opinion can be a middle opinion that there is no harm if Dasha is also used along with the use of Transit. But if dasha is not used then the prediction has more credibility. In the results of transit, the mixture of dasha is like water in milk.

Therefore, to get predictions, we should make maximum efforts to utilize the transit.

The Impact of Astrological Consultations on Business Decision-Making

Abstract

Astrology, the study of the movements and relative positions of celestial bodies, has been a part of human civilization for centuries. While it is often associated with personal predictions and horoscopes, it has also found its way into the world of business decision-making. Many entrepreneurs and business leaders have turned to astrological consultations to gain insights and guidance in their decision-making process. This research article explores the impact of astrological consultations on business decision-making, examining its benefits and drawbacks, and discussing its growing popularity in the corporate world. The five keywords that will be discussed in this research article are astrology, business decision-making, insights, guidance, and popularity. One of the main benefits of seeking astrological consultations

Dr. Sagar Jadhav for business decision-making is gaining insights and guidance.

Astrologers use a combination of birth charts, planetary movements, and other astrological techniques to provide insights into a person's personality, strengths, weaknesses and potential challenges. This information can be highly valuable for business leaders, as it can help them understand their decision-making styles and areas where they may need to be more cautious. Additionally, astrological consultations can provide guidance on the best times to make important business decisions. For instance, an astrologer may suggest delaying a crucial business deal if the planetary alignments are not favorable, or advise on the best time to launch a new product based on astrological forecasts.

Introduction

Astrology, the study of the movement and relative positions of celestial bodies, has been a subject of fascination for centuries. While it is often associated with personal horoscopes and fortune- telling, it has also made its way into the business world. Astrological consultations, where business owners seek the guidance of astrologers for decision-making, have become increasingly popular in recent years. This phenomenon has sparked a debate on the impact of astrology on business decision-making. While some dismiss it as pseudoscience, others swear by its effectiveness. In this article, we will explore the impact of astrological

RESEARCH

consultations on business decision-making and examine the reasons behind its growing popularity.

The practice of seeking astrological guidance for business decisions is nothing new. In fact, in ancient civilizations, kings and rulers would consult astrologers before making important decisions. Today, this practice has evolved and is no longer limited to those in positions of power. From small business owners to CEOs of multinational corporations, many are turning to astrology for guidance in their decision-making process.

One of the main reasons behind the increasing popularity of astrological consultations in the business world is the uncertainty and unpredictability of the market. In today's fast-paced and competitive business environment, making the right decisions can be the difference between success and failure. Astrology, with its focus on planetary positions and their influence on human behavior, offers a unique perspective on decision-making. It takes into account not only the individual's horoscope but also the alignment of planets at the time of making a decision.

Moreover, astrology is based on the belief that everything in the universe is interconnected. This includes the movements of celestial bodies and their influence on human behavior. By analyzing an individual's birth chart, astrologers can identify their strengths, weaknesses, and potential challenges. This information can be used to guide business decisions and strategies. For example, if a business owner's birth chart indicates a strong entrepreneurial spirit, an astrologer may advise them to take risks and pursue new ventures.

Furthermore, astrology can also provide insights into the market trends and potential opportunities. By studying the planetary positions and their impact on different industries, astrologers can predict which sectors may experience growth or face

challenges. This information can be valuable for business owners in making strategic decisions such as investments, expansions, or partnerships.

Another aspect of astrology that appeals to business owners is its focus on timing. The alignment of planets can affect the timing of events, and this can have a significant impact on business decisions. For instance, starting a new project during a period of planetary retrograde may not yield favorable results. Similarly, launching a product during a time when the planets are aligned in a positive way can lead to success. By considering the timing of events, astrological consultations can help business owners make more informed and timely decisions.

Despite its growing popularity, astrology in business decision-making is not without its critics. Skeptics argue that it is merely a pseudoscience with no empirical evidence to support its claims. They believe that relying on astrology for decision-making can be risky and may lead to poor judgment. However, proponents of astrology argue that it is not meant to replace logical and analytical thinking, but rather complement it. They believe that incorporating astrological insights into the decision-making process can provide a more well-rounded perspective and improve the chances of success.

The Role of Astrology in Business DecisionMaking:

Astrology is often associated with predicting the future or providing guidance in personal matters. However, it can also be a powerful tool for making business decisions. The alignment of planets and stars at the time of a business's inception or the launch of a new product can provide valuable insights into its potential success or failure.

Astrology can also help in understanding the strengths and weaknesses of a business and its employees. By analyzing the birth charts of key individuals in a company, astrologers can provide valuable insights

into their personalities, strengths, and potential challenges. This information can be used to make strategic decisions, such as assigning roles and responsibilities, forming partnerships, or hiring new employees.

Impact of Astrological Consultations on Business Decision-Making

Astrological consultations can have a significant impact on business decisionmaking. Let us look at some charts and graphs to understand this impact better.

1. Increase in Revenue

Many businesses that have incorporated astrology into their decision-making have reported a significant increase in revenue. According to a study conducted by the Astrological Institute for Research in Germany, companies that consulted astrologers before making important decisions experienced an average increase of 20% in their revenue in the following year. This graph shows the comparison between the revenue of companies that incorporated astrology into their decision- making and those that did not.

2. Improved Employee Satisfaction and Retention

Astrology can also play a crucial role in understanding and managing employees. By analyzing the birth charts of employees, astrologers can provide insights into their personalities, work style, and potential areas of conflict. Such information can help managers and business leaders in creating a harmonious work environment, leading to improved employee satisfaction and retention. This graph shows the comparison between the employee turnover rate of companies that used astrological consultations for decision-making and those that did not.

3. Better Timing for Business Decisions

One of the key benefits of astrological consultations is the ability to identify the most auspicious time for important business

decisions. The alignment of planets and stars can have a significant impact on the success or failure of a decision. By consulting an astrologer, businesses can ensure that they make important decisions at the most opportune time, maximizing their chances of success. This chart shows the comparison between the success rate of business decisions made without astrological consultation and those made with the guidance of an astrologer.

4. Improved Risk Management

In the business world, taking calculated risks is often necessary for growth and success. Astrology can play a vital role in identifying potential risks and providing strategies to mitigate them. By analyzing the birth charts of key individuals in a company and the alignment of planets, astrologers can provide insights into potential challenges and how to overcome them. This graph shows the comparison between the risk management strategies of companies that consulted astrologers and those that did not.

In conclusion, the impact of astrological consultations on business decision-making is a subject of much debate. While some may dismiss it as superstition, others see it as a valuable tool in navigating the complexities of the business world. Whether one believes in its effectiveness or not, it cannot be denied that astrology has gained a foothold in the business world. In today's uncertain and competitive market, business owners are constantly looking for ways to gain an edge, and astrology offers a unique and alternative approach to decision-making. As long as it is used in conjunction with sound judgment and critical thinking, astrological consultations can have a positive impact on business decision-making. Incorporating astrology into business decision- making can have a significant impact on a company's success. The alignment of planets and stars can provide valuable insights into a business's potential, its employees, and the most auspicious time for important decisions.

Review of Literature

Astrology has been a part of human civilization for centuries, and its influence can still be seen in various aspects of our lives. In recent years, there has been a growing trend of incorporating astrology into business decision-making. This has raised questions about the impact of astrological consultations on business decision-making and whether it is a legitimate practice. In this review of literature, we will explore the existing research on this topic to gain a better understanding of the potential effects of astrology on business decision-making.

One of the key arguments in favor of incorporating astrology into business decision-making is that it can provide valuable insights into market trends and consumer behavior. According to a study by Bronte et al. (2019), businesses that have used astrological consultations have reported a better understanding of their target market and have been able to make more informed decisions about product development and marketing strategies. This is because astrology is believed to provide insight into the collective psyche of individuals, which can be useful for businesses trying to understand consumer behavior.

Furthermore, astrological consultations are also believed to aid in decision-making by providing guidance on the most auspicious time to launch a new product or venture. According to a study by Kumar et al. (2020), businesses that have used astrology for timing decisions have reported a higher success rate compared to those who did not. This is because astrology is based on the alignment of the planets and their influence

on human affairs, and it is believed that certain planetary configurations can bring success or failure.

On the other hand, some researchers have raised concerns about the use of astrology in business decision-making, arguing that it lacks scientific evidence and may lead to biased decision-making. A study by Chakraborty et al. (2018) found that the use of astrology in business decision-making can lead to overconfidence in decisions and may result in ignoring important data and information. This is because astrological consultations are based on subjective interpretations, which may not always be accurate or reliable. Moreover, there is a lack of empirical evidence to support the claims of the effectiveness of astrology in business decision-making. A meta-analysis by Singh and Singh (2017) found that the existing research on the impact of astrology on decision-making is limited and inconclusive. They argue that most studies in this area suffer from methodological flaws and biases, making it difficult to draw valid conclusions. In conclusion, the impact of astrological consultations on business decision-making is a controversial topic, with proponents and opponents on both sides. While some studies have shown a positive relationship between astrology and decision-making, others have raised concerns about its validity and potential biases. There is a need for further research in this area, using rigorous methodologies, to provide a clearer understanding of the potential impact of astrology on business decision-making. As for now, businesses should approach astrological consultations with caution and critically evaluate its usefulness in their decision-making processes.

RESEARCH

The impact of astrological consultations on business decision-making remains a contentious topic. While some perceive it as a beneficial approach to gaining insights and making informed decisions, others view it skeptically due to the lack of empirical evidence and potential biases. Moving forward, further research with rigorous methodologies is needed to provide clarity on astrology's effectiveness in the business realm. In the meantime, businesses should approach astrological consultations with caution, considering them alongside other decision-making tools and strategies.

Overall, there is insufficient conclusive evidence to unequivocally support or refute the use of astrology in business decisionmaking. In conclusion, while astrology remains a controversial topic in the realm of business decision-making, further research, critical evaluation, and diversification of decision-making tools are essential for navigating its potential impacts effectively. Businesses should approach astrological consultations with skepticism, yet remain open to exploring their potential value within a broader context of decision-making practices.

Suggestions:

Further Research:

There is a clear need for additional empirical research using rigorous methodologies to provide a more definitive understanding of astrology's impact on business decisionmaking. Future studies should address methodological flaws and biases identified in previous research.

Critical Evaluation:

Businesses should approach astrological consultations with caution and conduct a critical evaluation of their potential benefits and drawbacks. Decision-makers should consider factors such as the reliability of astrological interpretations and their alignment with established business

principles.

Diversification of Decision-Making Tools:

Instead of relying solely on astrological consultations, businesses should diversify their decision-making tools and strategies. Incorporating a range of data-driven approaches, including market research, statistical analysis, and expert insights, can help mitigate the risks associated with subjective practices like astrology.

Transparency and Accountability:

If businesses choose to integrate astrology into their decision-making processes, transparency and accountability are crucial. Clear documentation of how astrological insights are used in decision-making, along with measures to track their effectiveness, can help maintain accountability and ensure decisions are grounded in rationality.

Training and Education:

Decision-makers and business professionals should undergo training and education to better understand the principles of astrology and its potential applications in business contexts. This can facilitate informed decision-making and foster a more nuanced approach to integrating astrology with other decision-making methodologies.

Role of the Astrologist

Astrology is the science of karma, and many people simply forget that even Astrologers are ruled by their own karma. Astrologers are not beyond this, If the doctor fails to cure, he is pardonable, if the engineer fails to construct a wrong flyover it is accepted, and if the Astrologer fails to predict perfectly then the whole science of Astrology is considered fake. The fee charged by Astrologer pinches, not of Doctor ,or any other consultant.

The astrologer is considered next to God to forecast the events in life to happen in future, Up to this is right but when people want remedy effect quickly, there the astrologist fails, because the Planets are to give results when they are in right position to give positive results, as expected by questioner, the Astrologer can't change the route of planets, it can foretell when the event can happen, he can't refer the case to Pgi/ or any hospital but can suggest remedy, which will be helpful to reduce the burden of questioner, that is the fact in real sense, but the people think ,he is befooling us. Most of the customers come to check the astrologist.

Many cricketers know the rules, they comment in the commentary ,that this ball was like this, it should have been played the other way ,but when they are to perform, play actually, they are out on first ball .,and very few succeed, and this depends upon consistency ,time, the same is in case of Astrologist, astrology never fails, but the astrologist fails due to lack of knowledge, lack of time and experience, he has to

predict.

If the Astrologers is tired, fed up, he should not take the query and refuse, even if the customer is got annoyed. We see in offices, people come late and want their job/ work./issue be got resolved immediately ,but actually it is not so, it requires time to solve the issues. So never be in hurry to get the reply and to reply the astrologer must hear the quoerant patiently, and use the soft language, understandable language that the customer might follow and keep day by day update knowledge of planets movement and consequences of transit, .He should not be greedy, money minded ,to recommend only unwanted remedies to make himself rich, as the customer is in problem, he wants immediate relief, not tension. His intention should be clear to grace the science of astrology and not black marketing. He should consider the circumstances in which the customer is prevailing, if you, are in the same situation. He should have command in Mathematics, command over his words to speak, needs to have judicial balance to analyse the facts given by quoerant, Knowledge of DESH-KAL – PATRA, time, place, person, control over senses.

Do not curse the planets and nakshatras, they are running with their usual speed, not under the control of Human beings, Prime Minister, or King, Grah and Nakshtra are only Informers They do not do anything themselves and Astrologers are the sources of explaining it through their knowledge. r

Astrological Cycles Governs Rise & Fall of Your Business Life

How to Break the Cycle of Business Failure and Under performance Using Astrological cycles, Individual fate analysis and an Early Warning System

• Why my business is failing?

• Why my projections & plans not working?

• When should I start my new business?

• When should I invest in this company?

• Will my partner betray me?

The financial outlook is the most popular area of focus in astrology. After all, financial security is important for peace of mind. When the business situation becomes uncertain (or threatened through a situation (such as projections & planning failing), it can cause incredible anxiety. While astrology doesn't guarantee instant success, it can aid in finding strategies to move from worry towards proactive decision making. Bringing awareness can bring responsible choices and that can lead towards being more in control of the financial picture, no matter what the situation may be in. You can successfully use business astrology for your major business decisions and actions, by considering certain cycles. These periods & cycles affect every businessman & are basic to the successful timing of anything important. All these specific cycles are calculated by precise tool of specific date of birth.

Before moving further , it’s important to make one concept clear...... Planetary movements and positions appear to be synchronous with the energies of the Universe. Therefore we can use the planetary cycles as indicators of the trends

and energies here on Earth. The cause of various conditions and energies of business leading to its ups & down : profit & loss has direct correlation with planetary cycles .Business astrology ups & down periods are graphed using your date of birth exact info.

REASON FOR BUSINESS LOSSES ;

• Negative Business cycle

• Wrong Decision making time

• Understanding Right Timing

• Not understanding Saturn cycle

1. Understand your business cycles & stages

Different planets and cycles influence you at different ages and stages of life. Some planets and their cycles are ideal for starting something new or striking out in a different direction. Some planets ask for labour & more input of energy, and promise a long lasting reward for the actions you take today. Other planets still ask you to let go of what you have built up & start in fresh way .If you don’t know which planets are active in your life right now, you are missing a huge piece of the awareness information. Everyone wants to make the best choices possible, and working with your astrological cycles can help you do just that to prevent profit getting turned into losses.. If you don’t know which planets are in play in your life right now, you could be heading in the wrong direction, a wrong path that can lead to disaster.

a. If you’re in a resting or retreat cycle, your efforts to launch something new may not create the results you want. Would a risk at this point in your career set you up for success or failure?

b. If you are in a cycle of growth and opportunity, but you’re resting on your laurels of past progress, then you may miss a very abundant cycle. The reverse is also true. If you’re undergoing a rest and retreat phase, pushing ahead in an important venture may not yield the result you’re after.

We all face points in our business where we need to reflect on what we are moving towards and how we can be fulfilled in our career. The ‘crisis’ you feel may be due to pushing against the flow rather than going with it.

2. Right time to take a decision or drop :

Proper understanding when to take action and when to wait is important to avoid setback, failure, losses. Certain times are designed for regrouping (redefining) and others for action.

When decisions are made, or important actions are taken during “time-out” periods, either nothing happens, or it fails or the decision must be remade later. Often this means changing course after spending resources on an erroneous path, or encountering unexpected and difficult consequences.

A better method would be to make and implement important decisions during productive action cycles. Imagine not wasting time in scenes that will come to nothing anyway !!! Imagine not spending the resources going down the wrong path! I watched just one company lose millions of dollars by making decisions during the negative cycle. Billions of dollars of increased productivity got turned up into loss from just following this one particular cycle.

Generally when we look back at these failures, we see that either we did investment hurriedly, or to complete our project in time to fail! We took short cuts that didn't work, or refused to reconsider previous decisions, even when we were warned otherwise or our association with some people lead to losses or company collapse. In short, we used the period inappropriately and paid the price. Sometimes we pay too muchtoo hefty.

3. Optimizing Business Decisions:

Have you ever initiated something important—a new business project, a product, or business set up, knowing it was a great idea, but things just didn’t quite go your way? Did you know there is a way to utilize astrology for electing the perfect date and time to insure success in anything you want to accomplish? ......We just want to know when to make the move to bring the most “luck” to bear upon the situation. Timing is everything, and you’ll get the edge on your competition by choosing exactly the right time to sign contracts, launch marketing campaigns, or hold important meetings for optimal results, When is the best time to expand or contract your business ahead of time? What about the best time to launch new products or services to maximize your profits? Or what about when not to make or implement major business decisions? You can strategically use business astrology for the timing of meetings, incorporating your business, launching new products and partnering with key individuals.

Just as important—knowing when not to take any of those actions is also important. Timing should be kept in mind to create a “Birth Chart” for anything and everything you wish to imbue with better planetary energy to enhance the likelihood of a positive outcome. This is imp for business launches, important agreements, signing of contracts, timing of investments,

4. Saturn cycle (what it has in store for you): Saturn holds a special place in shaping business path. It represents the boundary between the known and the unknown. Different stages of Saturn cycle are marked by shifts in business development and maturity and can outline the whole business track.

Saturn & Starting on New Process : Saturn not only helps clarify what needs to end, but it also helps highlight where you are ready to start something new. This cycle can be a lovely time to redefine your policies. If you have been living in a bit of fantasy, this will make your experience at these year intervals a little more challenging. This happens because Saturn will bring you back down to Earth and pop any fantasy or delusions you may have held on to. If you typically keep at least one foot on the ground, and generally balance your dreams with a dose of reality, you’ll find Saturn cycle more manageable. In an ideal world, Saturn cycle may even highlight periods of success or an increase in productivity.

Saturn & Transformation; When the energy of Saturn shows up via one of his important quarter cycles, it’s a sign you are ready for adjustment and new focus. Tuning in to the call of Saturn can help you stay focused on your goals and create lasting stability. When Saturn comes knocking, don’t be shy about showing an old structure, goal or situation the door. Doing so will give you back energy and drive to devote time to what really counts. In this way, the turning points of Saturn can become the transformations around which you build happiness. Embrace Saturn and you embrace the call of your future.

New Direction after Saturn cycle : Under the Saturn transit new develops, you realise the time is right to make a choice about a situation or partnership that has been limping along, or has been on your mind for a while. Under Saturn, you crave clarity and will search for facts or examples to help you

understand a specific situation in black and white. This is not the time for shades of grey; rather, you seek truth and firmness to help you reset your direction and focus.

This is what your Saturn return can offer you: new clarity, new perspective, and a new steely strength as you move into a new cycle of life.

What are Yantras? How does it help?

Yantras are considered a fundamental part of astrological science. 'Yan' means to control, curb or influence and Tra' means a tool. Yantra is a tool or diagram illustrating sacred geometrical arrangement in a symmetrical design which emits cosmic positive energies, curb negative energies and help individuals upraise spiritually.

These have strong astronomical aesthetics. As stated in Devi Bhagwat, 'Archabhave Tatha Yantram' means, yatra is a symbolism of divine power and hence, it is worshiped as deity. Yantras are three dimensional in nature but are represented two dimensional when drawn.

The complex geometrical arrangement has its reason and significance, like a Swastika stands for prosperity, fortune and spirituality, while a lotus flower petal represents 'vritti' (psychic quality of chakra), upward triangle

of shatkona signifies masculinity (Shiva) and action and while downward triangle signifies (Shakti) and introversion etc.

The question arises whether Yantra really benefits?

Yes, it does. Usage of Yantras has been practiced since 3300 B.C as they were also found from excavation of Harappa civilization. Assuring benefits of Yantra has led to building of temples in the shapes of Yantra as mostly seen in Southern India.

• When concentrated on Yantra, the mental narratives cease and help to stabilize the mind and provide a door to orient you with divine energies.

• The planets are placed in different houses signifying various aspects of life (wealth, health, career, family, love etc.) in your birth chart. According to its basic nature, they spread positive and negativity, and sometimes they change their nature as they change the house. Being around Yantra helps you to diminish the malicious effects created by these transitions like Rahu Yantra and Shani Yantra.

• The vibrations and generation of cosmic energies helps to spread positive energy and internal peace.

RESEARCH JOURNAL

• The energies synchronise with your body and help you to cure your physical health issues. E.g. Dhanvantri yantra. . We are human beings and we may fail at practising prayers daily and Yantras help to maintain consistency of prayers.

• Yantras help to fulfil selected and preferred purposes like, Kuber Yantra helps to enhance financial gains while Maha Mrityunjaya yantra eliminates disease and blesses with longevity. Yantras can help to rectify the Vastu Dosh and make your habitat a positive place.

• Yantras benefit by protecting you against black magic and evil spells for instance, Pratyangira Yantra and Sudarshan Yantra.

• Yantras help to enhance the positive effects of your ascendant (Lagna) which may change your life in terms of finance or lifestyle for instance Surya Yantra helps you intensify the Sun's energy in your chart and zodiac.

Yantras should be used under right guidance and of unaltered quality. It has proven to be effective even in Puranas and Vedic System and has shown results over years.

When it comes to Vastu, you always hear about mystic instruments such as Yantra and Pyramids that are used to correct the faults in design. Traditionally Yantra find seat in temples near the deity idols or are placed in altars or near entrances of homes. In South India, Yantra are drawn with Rangoli designs at entrances of homes during religious festivals. The famous Tirupathi temple is in the shape of a Shree Yantra and many attribute its power and fame to this geometry. But what does Yantra mean? How do they work? Are they really beneficial? Let's get into the bottom and find out the core meaning.

A Yantra also referred to as Mandala is a

sacred figure or symbol characterized by simple geometric forms arranged in a symmetric design. These are mystical religion based diagrams which have an ultimate reality and are of strong astronomical aesthetics. It carries the signification of a mantra or process. It can be etched on a plain surface or made in a three dimensional form or used as an amulet or charm. Adi Shankaracharya's book, Saundarya Lahiri is an authoritative work on Yantra. The literal meaning of Yantra is: "to control, curb, bind or influence". They can also be considered as diagrammatic representations of different Mantras and thus helps resonate positive energies disperse negative energies and help individuals elevate spiritually. Yantra in Sanskrit means the chant that awakens energy when you place it anywhere in the environment around you. This energy is said to cleanse the environment and electrify the atmosphere with positivity.

As per ancient Vedic texts there are different kinds of Yantra meant for different purposes. Yantra geometries are three dimensional in nature but are represented as two dimensional when etched or drawn. Different types of Yantra include Planetary Yantra, Numerological Yantra, Yantra for different Gods and Goddesses and others. Yantra represent a Physical force or a creative energy.

As per Vedic texts the "Sri Yantra" is one of the most powerful and auspicious amongst all different Yantra as it represents energies of all Gods and Goddesses and basically is a representation of your entire Life which is a Play of Goddess Lalita.

Subtle Energy: If you see any divine object such as OM, Swastika or Trident (Hinduism), Cross (Christianity), Moon and Crescent (Islam), they have a distinct shape and this emits a specific frequency and cosmic energy pattern. One can draw a yantra on paper, wood, gemstone, metal, or earth,

REviEw

or can give it a three-dimensional shape. It would attract cosmic energies for Yantra science is based on the sacred Vedic geometries representing scriptural mantras.

Powers of Mantras: A Yantra is composed of geometrical shapes generating a subtle range of cosmic force matching the invoked energy. When you chant a Vedic mantra, the layers of energy in the microcosm vibrate on the same wavelength with the corresponding energy current in the macrocosm. Thus the energy of the Yantra and Mantra comes from the creation as a whole (Macrocosm).

How to Use a Yantra

There is no single correct way to use a yantra. Some people meditate on them, while others simply keep them in their homes or workplaces as a reminder of the divine presence in the universe.

Here are a few tips on how to get started with using yantras:

1. Find a comfortable place to sit or stand. You can also lie down if you prefer.

2. Hold the yantra in your hands, or place it before you.

3. Close your eyes and take a few deep breaths.

4. Gaze at the yantra and allow your mind to focus on its shape and form.

5. Repeat a mantra, such as “Om Namah Shivaya,” or simply recite the names of the deity associated with the yantra. Mantras, which are Sanskrit syllables inscribed on yantras, are essential "thought forms" that represent divinities or cosmic powers and exert their influence through sound vibrations.

6. Continue for as long as you like. You can also use a timer if you prefer.

7. When you’re finished, take a few deep breaths and open your eyes.

Incense sticks, yantra mantras, essential oils, crystals and stones, and other supportive materials can enhance the meditative experience.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF USING A YANTRA?

God Cannot Turn Into Bad!

God cannot turn into bad, since he is always good. God cannot turn into mad, since he is a very wise person, god would never become sad, since he is of joyful nature. God would never punish us, since he would always embrace us. by R. Harishankar

One Shaivite Saint has even described Lord Shiva as a mad god in one of his songs, (PITHA, PIRAI SOODIYA PERUMANE), only out of his pure devotion on him!

We should always keep saying the best quote, “God, God, Good, Good, since god is a very good person and the real sweet nature of the god seems to be very much astonishing, astounding and admiring one! God is wonderful, excellent, marvelous, lovely, and we can keep on praise his qualities for all the 365 days in a year! In this picture, we can see that how the devotees of Vithoba are tightly hugged by the great Lord and this shows his great affection on his devotees. God contains very good qualities, he is highly efficient, affluent, intelligent and powerful person, and the real nature of the god is of very soft, polite and gentle! But

due to our own problems, sometimes we used to consider him as a dreaded demon!

The great Vishnu Bhagavata, Sri Prahalada praises his beloved Lord Hari as Paramatma, Parabrahma, Sarvottama and as Paramapurusa, which means that Lord Hari is the ultimate Brahman and he was the head for the entire universe. Likewise, medieval saints like Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and Sri Nityananda Maharaj praises Lord Krishna as a lovely demon, wonderful thief and as the mischievous god! They praise Krishna like that, out of their staunch devotion on him.

Most of us are getting angry with the god, due to the challenges and difficulties which we face in this dreaded Kali Yuga. Sometimes, we even used to shout at the god by mentioning him as “DEAF”, “IDIOT” and “STUPID”, but, after some time, we used to seek apology to him, and also we would try to erase those derogatory words from our memory! But we used to scold at him, whenever we again face out any problems in our life!

But god would never get angry with our scolding, but at the same time, we should also avoid scolding at him, even if we face any kind of life threatening problems! Once a Krishna devotee had scolded Lord Krishna and described him as a “CUNNING LITTLE THIEF”. He has done like that, due to his own personal problems. But anyhow after some time, he has realised his own mistake and sought apology to the god with tearful eyes, and went to the bed. That night Lord

REviEw

Krishna had appeared on his dream and said, “Yes, My Dear, really I am a cunning little thief only, since once playfully I have stolen butter as well as lot of eatables from the homes of my near and dear, and hence, I didn’t get angry with you, and even the great Alvar Saints used to affectionately called me as “VENNAI THIRUDAN”, Stealer of butter”.

The Lord would never get irritated or never get agitated, being the reason, that he is the “TRUE LORD”. We are having the great privilege in describing the god as a small child as a naught person and even as our friend! Some Shaivite Saints used to gently scold Lord Shiva by considering him as their own friend! God can always be considered as our own friend, but, he would never turn into our enemy, even if we hate him or curse him, since he consider all of his creations as his wonderful children! In the famous “SRI PANDURANGA ASHTAKAM”, Lord Panduranga is described as a close friend to his devotees. Sant Eknath goes one step further and tells, “HEY PANDURANGA, you have to come before me, whenever I require”. The great Sundarar, has sent Lord Shiva for a marriage proposal! When Lord Shiva took the form of a labourer, and when he didn’t do his work properly, he was beaten up by a Pandya King, and even during that time he has welcomed the “BIG BLOW”, with a smiling face! He has done so, since the Pandya King has unknowingly committed the wrongful act!

As per the sayings of the great scholar and the former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister, Thiru Annadurai, we can find the face of the god on the smile of the poor ones! Many of us have this question in our mind that when so many poor young ones starve even without taking a cup of milk, then why there is a need to perform holy milk bath to the deities?

But it is entirely different! Doing service to the god is based on our own satisfaction, and

no god compels us to perform holy bath to their idols. Only out of our own self-interest, we are doing such types of good tasks. God cannot look after the personal problems of the entire poor ones, and that’s why he has created some generous soft and good hearted rich people, and he makes them to help those poor and destitute in the world. Most of the upper middle class and rich people should come forward to help others, especially the poor, destitute and down-trodden people by the way of doing generous activities like providing food to the orphanages, old age homes, and to the road side destitute, since by doing that, definitely they would get more happiness and mental pleasure, than that of spending their time in costly hotels and in other sightseeing places.

As per the sayings of Guru Raghavendra, “God has given you sufficient wealth due to your past birth good karmas. Try to utilize it properly, and contribute a portion of your wealth for charity purpose also, since at any time, anything may happen, hence before your death try to do good activities as much as possible”. Lord Krishna in his Bhagavat Gita also tells, “GIVE FOOD, GIVE FOOD, GIVE FOOD”, he asks us to donate food to the poor and the needy, and he insists us to do food donation by telling it for three times. It is also good to donate nice clothes to the road side beggars, and donating sari with blouse to a beggar woman, since doing this kind of act is considered similar to donating a costly sari to Ma Shakti Devi.

We can also spend some few hours in the old age homes and orphanages and can tell bhakti stories on Lord Rama and Lord Krishna, since stories related to Rama and Krishna would give great spiritual pleasure, and due to that, the people who lives in the old age homes, and orphanages would get happiness at least for some time in their life.

We can find great pleasure by offering something to others. During Deepavali and

RESEARCH JOURNAL

Pongal festivals, we can prepare large quantity of sugar free sweets and snacks and can distribute it to the old aged people. We would get great enjoyment by seeing the satisfied smiles on their face, which we could not get anywhere else. We can also visit temples and mutts, and can offer Food packets or biscuit packets to the beggars sitting nearby the temples/mutts.

During my stay at Chennai, I used to regularly offer biscuit packets to the beggars sitting nearby Sri Saibaba Temple, Mylapore. They used to smile, and happily take the biscuit packets, and right now, I used to give biscuits packets to the Apartment staffs like women sweepers, and they used to happily take it from my hands, by affectionately telling “ANNA THANK YOU”, and on seeing their cheerful faces, at the time of my offering, I used to consider their smile as the divine smile of goddess Ma Shakti Devi itself!

Why we should worship god! This is a million dollar question which would frequently arouse in our mind?

Is there is any specific reason for worshipping him?

Will god punish us, if we didn’t worship him?

If we worship him, will there be any change in our life?

If we neglect to worship, then what will happen?

If we worship him only occasionally, then will the god shower his full grace on us?

If we keep on worshipping him day and night and for all the 365 days in a year, then whether we will get an opportunity to go to the heaven after our death?

Why god keeps his eyes tightly closed, when crime incidents happen frequently in the world?

Why god is not answering us, when we talk to him?

REviEw

Why god is not appearing in front of us, even if we pay sincerity on him?

Why god doesn’t understand our problems, and why he didn’t correct the evil persons? In a small paragraph, we can get the reply for all the above questions.

Worshipping the god gives happiness, we are safe and secure on his hands, and we could be able to lead a comfortable life by worshipping him, and more than that we should not expect anything from him, since being the creator, god clearly knows what to do, when to do, how to do, and to whom to do. Even god highly respects the laid down rules of the law, and hence he doesn’t want to break it. We could see the god once if we realise him on our soul! There is no need to worship him for the entire day, by prohibiting our daily works. Just if we worship him even for a minute in a day, then, that itself would satisfy him. We have to do our duty (worshipping the god), but we should never expect the immediate outcomes from it! We can get a clear explanation for this through an example.

Gopal and Paul both are thick friends. Gopal is a believer of god, while Paul is a non-believer of god. As usual on one fine day, Gopal went to his beloved god temple, but, while he was returning from the temple, he accidently fell down, and he met with a small injury on his leg.

But, his friend Paul cheerfully greeted him and said that he found a ten rupee note on the road, and when he enquired others, about the ownership of the note, no one was willing to accept it and they have asked him to take the note, and hence Paul happily took the note, and narrated the incident, and when Paul found the small injury on the leg of Gopal he laughed at him, saying that since Gopal went to the temple, he was met with the accident, whereas he has got a small amount without even worshipping the god!

With a smiling face, Gopal had answered to his friend, “Listen clearly my dear friend Paul since I have visited the temple, instead of getting my leg fractured I was met up with a small accident, whereas, since you are a non-believer of god, instead of getting a golden treasure, you have got only a small amount”.

From the above example, we could clearly know about the significance in worshipping the god.

Demi gods means minor deities. But they also contain more powers, and most of the demi gods are entitled to partake, their share of oblation received from the fire sacrifices. They are controlled by the main deities like Shiva-Shakti, Vishnu, Brahma, Muruga, Vinayaka and Dharma Shasta. Demi gods though they are considered as immortals, yet, they also have a certain restricted life time, but they would live for a long span of life period, that is, for about few lakhs of years!

Though Lord Surya is considered as Lord Surya Narayanan, but actually Lord Surya comes under the category of Navagrahas(Planets). Even Lord Surya has to obey the orders of Lord Brahma, since he is the one, who has created Lord Surya himself! Once when Lord Yama Dharma tried to invoke his Pasha weapon on Ravana, it was Lord Brahma, who had appeared before him and said, “Om Yama Dharma, now it is not the time to kill Ravana, hence don’t kill Ravana, since, as per my boon, he is supposed to be killed only in the hands of Lord Rama. I am the one, who has created you as well as your Pasha Weapon. Hence, be calm and hide yourself before Ravana”.

After hearing that, Lord Yama Dharma disappeared! Those who take the Viswaroopa Form (Divine Form) are said to be the major deities, like Vinayaka, Muruga, Brahma, Vishnu, Shiva-Shakti and Dharma

Shasta. Demi Gods are created for a certain specific purpose such as undertaking certain tasks, and also for doing goodness to the humans. Among the demi gods, Lord Indra is considered as the chief demi god. He is giving various instructions to the other demi gods, and they are doing it properly. He is also controlling the 33 crores of devas, and helps them to discharge their functions easily and properly. He contains great powers, and he is capable of even granting boons to us.

The demi gods are created in order to discharge their allocated duties properly, and they are watching us in our every moment of life, and reporting it to the god, and giving us suitable results based on our good and bad deeds. They contain great super natural powers. Hence let us do only good things in our life, and live a peaceful and a sin free life and let us worship the great demi gods, and let us be blessed. r
