The new standard in visual inspection systems
Stent manufacturers throughout the world come across the same dilemma every day: the manual stent inspection is not 100% reliable nor 100% objective. Result: the price paid for uncertainty is too high. Software GDO was asked to think out a solution. Our engineers took the challenge and research was commenced. Professionals from different backgrounds exchanged their experiences and opinions at the GDO Stent-Nuremberg conference in 2007. This basis was used to define the scope for the ideal automatic stent inspection. Three years of research and development, testing, measuring and close cooperation with stent manufacturers followed.

The NSI-7 is modular built, configurable for the customer and custom made delivered. No matter of the chosen configuration, complete objectivity and reliability are guaranteed at all times. The special developed software overtakes the decision making about stent quality, human errors will be reduced to zero and external disturbances won’t be of influence anymore. The NSI-7 expands your flexibility. The machine can be equipped to any needs with different amounts of mandrels, or in other words, stents. The inspection is carried out automatically and completely independent of human interference at a speed of 2 stents per minute. Working 24/7 is no challenge for the NSI-7.
