Dear Colleague and Friends, Welcome to the 88th FVMA Annual Conference. Welcome to Tampa, a most gracious and exciting host to us now, two years running. We are also excited about the growth of this FVMA annual meeting which has made it necessary for us to seek out a venue like the Tampa Convention Center to provide the highest quality CE offering to attendees who expect the very best from us. Additionally, we are very pleased to be able to offer you the excellent accommodations and amenities of our host, the Tampa Marriott, and those of our over flow property, Embassy Suites by Hilton, Tampa. We are happy you chose to join us for what promises to be an outstanding continuing education event. As designed, our program provides quality continuing education for every member of the veterinary care team. Veterinarians, technicians and other staff have a total 363 interactive hours of CE covering a wide diversity of topics in the scientific, clinical and management streams from which to choose. This includes some 18 wet labs and workshops. We are committed to exceeding your expectations and our goal is to see to it that your time spent with us in Tampa is satisfying and well worth your investment. We hope you will take some time this weekend to enjoy the pleasantness of this lovely city and the special activities we have built into our conference so you can network with colleagues and friends. Please plan to visit the exhibit hall often – for the value of interaction with industry exhibitors as well as to enjoy the fun activities to be held there. And we extend a special invitation to the Festival on the Bay – Reverse Raffle, Dinner and Dance on Saturday evening, which is a benefit for the FVMA Foundation. This is an excellent opportunity to let your hair down, have some fun, and support a very worth cause.
PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE
WELCOME
After our many months of preparation, this conference weekend is upon us, and we are excited you are here. Please seek us out should you need any assistance. The FVMA management and staff are at your disposal.
Sincerely,
Richard Sutliff, DVM President
