Dr. Federico Wulff (Granada, Spain 1972) Dr. Wulff is Senior Lecturer of Architecture Design at ETSAG-UGR University of Granada (Spain) and Marie Curie IEF Postdoctoral Researcher in Eco Urbanism and Landscape Architecture in WSA – Cardiff University (UK), EMUVE Research Project. He was awarded with the Rome Prize in Architecture at the Royal Academy of Spain in Rome and he was Visiting Teacher at the Architectural Association (AA) in London. He holds a European PhD from ETSAM-Polytechnic University of Madrid (Spain) and Roma Tre University (Italy). His work is published in architecture magazines as C3 (Korea), Arquitectura Viva (Spain), Arquitectura IbÊrica (Portugal), Pasajes and Paisajismo (Spain), among others. He was awarded with several first prizes in architectural competitions. Among his interventions in the urban landscape, the most remarkable works are Eras and Forum public spaces, both selected in the VI European Landscape Biennial 2010, the landscape intervention around the Caves of Hercules, Tangiers (Morocco), funded by the European Union, and the landscape intervention and restoration of Ethiopian Emperor Susenyos' Palace and Jesuit cathedral in Danqaz, Ethiopia, funded by the Spanish International Cooperation Agency (AECID). He has recently obtained an international urban prize for the new Master Plan of Government Area - Bulnes boulevard in Santiago de Chile, together with Melina Guirnaldos (Dec. 2012).
Melina Guirnaldos (Granada, 1978) Architect by the School of Architecture of Granada(ETSAG). Master in Science in Architectural Restoration and Recovery of Historic Cities, Roma Tre University (Italy), Columbia New York (USA) and Paris-Bellevile (France). 2008 Talentia Fellowship. Founding partner of W + G Architects Firm, where she co-authored among others the projects of Landscape Intervention and Restoration of the Palace of Ethiopian Emperor Susenyos and the Jesuit cathedral in Danqaz, Ethiopia, funded by the Spanish International Cooperation Agency (AECID) and the Urban Intervention at Lalla Yeddouna Square, Fes (Morocco) and the AECID Pavilion at ARCO 2010, the International Modern Art Fair of Madrid (Spain). Architect member of the Project Management Team of the Restoration of the Baths of Caracalla in Rome (II C. AD), Soprintendenza Speciale per i Beni Archeologici di Roma. Architectural Heritage Consultant, Cultural Department of Andalucía Regional Government , Spain. She has being invited as visiting lecturer in the WSA – Cardiff University (UK), and the School of Architecture and the Heritage Institute (ICON) of the University of Granada (UGR). She also works as contributor in architectural reviews as aU arquitetura e urbanismo in Brasil and ArteOficio in Chile as well as coordinator of cultural events like the Italo-Spanish Seminar on Contemporary Architecture intervention on Heritage, held at The Alhambra (Granada, Spain). Currently she works as research assistant in EMUVE european research project in WSA – Cardiff University (UK).
