Forward Together Comprehensive Campaign

Page 1

Dear Falcons,

When we were invited to join Forward Together, the Comprehensive Campaign for FWCD, as the public phase chairs, we enthusiastically accepted. We saw this as a way to say thank you for the outstanding education and opportunities FWCD made available to our three daughters and our school community. Even though our Lower School days are behind us, we felt it our privilege to pay it forward for future generations of students and their families.

We have been amazed at – and grateful for – Falcon alumni, parents and community members who embrace this sentiment. Through the generous financial support contributed to achieve the goals for this campaign, FWCD’s campus is already enjoying enhanced athletic fields and greater resources because of increased endowment gifts. In addition, we are now seeing the construction of the new beautiful Lower School building as a result of gifts and pledges received to date.

There are still naming opportunities available for the Lower School and endowed programs, which stretch across all three divisions. We consider it an honor to pave the way for future Falcons just as parents, grandparents and faculty did for us 60 years ago. Please join us in this campaign and help us cross the finish line this spring. Forward Together!

Very sincerely,

Classroom

Dear Falcons,

The 60th anniversary is replete with reasons to celebrate and recognize important milestones for our school. It is also the impetus for considering ways in which we each can participate in securing the future of the School for the benefit of our students and families.

I invite the campus community and beyond to join us as we write Fort Worth Country Day’s next chapter. We are now focused on fulfilling the funding for our new Lower School and increasing gifts to our endowment. Every dollar you give or pledge makes a difference and brings us closer to our goal. Your donation to the Forward Together Campaign is an investment in the future potential of our school. Together, we can inspire the generations to come.

We have all been fortunate to be the beneficiaries of those who’ve donated in the past. It is now incumbent on our generation to step up and play our part to secure the future of our school and further preserve its legacy that means so much to us all, so those in the future can benefit as well.

Kids are really kind of coming into their own in lower school. I’m so excited for all of the children to get to go to school in this amazing new building. I just can’t wait to see what kind of things transpire out of it from an educational perspective. ”

Giving back to a place that makes your kids so happy and brings them joy every day is easy. ”

Lower School Naming Opportunities

Together We Can

How to make a group gift

Community and family are FWCD hallmarks. The School community often comes together to support students and faculty by combining resources to address challenges and meet academic, arts or athletic goals.

We invite you to consider joining with family or friends to combine resources to invest in the Lower School or establish an endowed fund. Doing so provides gifts that move us closer to meeting the financial goals for these priorities. Combined gifts could include parents who have become friends through shared student activities, alumni joining with classmates, or friends made while watching sports. Your group gift also demonstrates the true sense of community for which FWCD is known.

Each group member is welcome to pledge their portion of the gift and arrange a payment schedule that best meets individual preferences. Gifts and pledges can be paid by cash, credit card or stock transfers. Gift recognition will be in the name of the group, with individual attribution included.

I am an example that you are never done with Fort Worth Country Day. Our associations, whether alumni, a parent, a grandparent, a teacher or a mix of those, are for a lifetime and not defined by your years at the School. ”
