56 students auditioned for Annie (1st full-length musical in 4 years)

Incorporating elementary, middle school, and high school students, along with a few teachers into the musical

Created parent involvement on committees for Costumes, Sets, Publicity, Front of House, and backstage.

We will have a crew of 15-20 students running backstage, lighting, and assisting with sound Middle School classes are performing duet scenes, monologues, and a short class play We are currently working on TAPPS solos, duets, poetry and prose for Upper School. High School Theatre class is learning tech aspects of theater and helping with sets, design, admin, lighting, and props for Annie.

Our3rdGradeMusicalPerformance, "Called"wasaspectacularsuccess! We'reincrediblyproudofour talentedstudentswholitupthe stagewiththeiramazingperformances.

TAPPS State Competition - the Belles performed a pom and jazz routine and the officers performed a jazz small ensemble. All 3 routines earned Superior Ratings as well.

The FWC Winterguard performs/competes in both the North Texas Colorguard Association and Marching Auxiliaries contest circuits up against both public and private schools in the state of Texas!

cardinal band

The Cardinal Band has been in the throws of Solo & Ensemble Contest Season. Last week we participated in the TPSMEA HS Region Band and MS Honor Band with 5 students. This last Thursday we hosted our 3rd annual Recital Concert providing the opportunity for students to perform their solo/ensemble music for friends and family which also allows them to work out the performance nerves & bugs. This last weekend we participated in the TAPPS Solo/Ensemble Contest at TCC, 11/14 entries earned superior ratings! Next week we perform at the TPSMEA Solo/Ensemble Competition at Greenhill School in Addison.

We were just given the opportunity to purchase brand new Drumline equipment updating our 10+year old equipment, with the intent to donate our current equipment to a Title school in the area.

TAPPS RANKING STATUS - Currently 2nd in 5A Band Programs in Texas with 1 more event to add to points in late March to determine final rankings.
