Dear Fashion: I AM Black Face is deeply rooted into my everyday life and influences everything around me. Within my life journey with fashion I created my own Fashion publication. Creating my own lane, I wanted to write my own story with fashion instead of writing society story. We witness in the black community how support rarely happens and how our businesses turn to the white demographic to seek validation, but we don't talk about the hardships of being creators.. Blacks have been the pivotal force in the fashion industry for decades with little to no recognition. I want to explore all aspects of me and how I set myself apart from the rest of the individuals who are in this prestige field of art. This magazine will be a brief glance at how I view fashion from my eyes.
