January 2022 Collections

Mediterranean Way European Heritage Allow us to take you on a trip back in time to enjoy our new collections. We were inspired by various artistic creations from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, those effervescent years in which modernity was forged in many respects. The Arts & Crafts aesthetic movement, the work of the expressionist painter Franz Marc, Paul Cézanne's magnificent still lifes and Gustav Klimt's wonderful "Rose Garden" painting are reflected in the original designs of our fabrics. Many of the names of these new collections also come from the Parisian Belle Époque, a period that was portrayed in a unique manner by the talented painter and poster artist Toulouse Lautrec, and where impressive buildings such as the Palais Garnier, the Musée d'Orsay and the Orangerie were created.

As always, following the latest trends, our collections stand out for their quality, their designs and an original and daring colour palette.

Sherwood According to legend, Robin Hood and his merry men hid out in Sherwood, a small forest halfway between London and the Scottish border. This magical place gives its name to this fabric, which is notable for its elegance and large size. Printed in two colour versions, on linen, which will add an elegant, original, and unique feel to any space.

Arts & Crafts The Arts & Crafts collection is inspired by the movement that emerged in the second half of the 19th century, which was characterised by a resurgence of interest in the decorative arts throughout Europe as a reaction to industrialisation and a break with the prevailing artistic style of the time.

Inspired by that movement, this collection is composed of three fabrics and a palette of colours that combine perfectly with each other:

Maybeck: the flower pattern of the Maybeck fabric is inspired by the architect Bernard Maybeck, who was part of the Arts & Crafts movement. The design is printed on a rich cotton and linen fabric and is perfect for upholstery, but also for creating original curtains or cushions. It is available in four different colours.

Stickley: characterised by its original wave pattern, this lightweight but durable jacquard fabric is ideal for a variety of uses, such as upholstery, curtains, and accessories. It combines perfectly with Maybeck and Mackintosh and is available in seven different colours.

Mackintosh: jaquard weave with chenille yarn. We now come to this medium scale geometric design, available in a range of colours from ochre to green, through grey and blue. It can be used for upholstery, curtains, and accessories.

Fitzgerald Fitzgerald, the author of The Great Gatsby, a novel set in the Roaring Twenties that creates a compelling portrait of the jazz and art deco era, gives his name to this magnificent collection. Its trendy striped design, combining the ottoman weave in the background with a satin in the coloured stripe, give it a very chic and sophisticated feel. Its composition, 100% cotton and, as it is very resistant, can be used for upholstery, curtains or accessories. It can be used for upholstery, curtains, or accessories.

Belvedere This extraordinary velvet is inspired by one of Gustav Klimt's best-known nature paintings, "Rose Garden". The wonderful design features an attractive and unique colouring in a pointillist style. It is also noteworthy for its soft texture, making it very pleasant to touch. Lautrec Toulouse Lautrec, one of the finest components of French modern art, who portrayed the nights of the Belle époque in inimitable fashion, gives his name to this spectacular fabric that stands out due to its beautiful palette of nuanced colours. It is an irregularly textured chenille with a very soft and smooth texture.

It is a washable fabric, perfect for use in accessories, upholstery, or curtains.

Garnier / Ganier Check This collection consists of two items and was inspired by the striking Paris opera house, Palais Garnier, one of the buildings that transformed the city during the Belle Epoque.

Boteh Boteh, which means tear in Persian, is a printed fabric with a paisley motif. It is reminiscent of the Asian prints which are now back in fashion in decor. The design is created on a linen and cotton base and is available in blue, aqua green, and beige, as well as in reddish tones.

Still Life Paul Cézanne was an artist who used still life drawings of fruit and objects found in our kitchens to create a number of magnificent paintings. Still Life is our collection of printed fabrics which are reminiscent of his work. It is available in four colours on a linen and cotton base: black, red, blue and aqua green.

Franz Franz is a 100% cotton fabric with a very original Japanese-inspired print. The main feature in this case is the KOI or Japanese carp, so highly valued in the land of the rising sun. Mediterranean Seaside II We launched Mediterranean Seaside II in collaboration with Klas Kall.

It consists of two cotton prints with anti-stain finish, and original designs which repeat the colour palette we have already seen in the first edition of this collection, fresh colours inspired by the Mediterranean: green, blue, orange, and brown.

Pop Art Pop Art is our most daring and colourful collection. It features geometric shapes and bold tones ideal for adding a touch of colour on a neutral background to any decor.
