‘‘According to the “dinner for one” is to plan a closed, rain and wind resistant terrace/loggia with enought space for a 5-person-table. It should be a stricktly wooden made structure of square timbers with cross measurments 6/12cm or 18/22 cm and a maximal lenght of 8m, as well as 3,8/12cm planks with maximal lenght of 2m.’’

“Construct a ski-jumps starthouse on the top of the Kulmer mountain. Your design schould be recognisable as a remarkable crown with three program requirements: -ground floor - a wind schielded and thermal insulated take-off area with a distinct entrance in order to ensure a manageable access for few athletes - 20m² -upper floor - a closed, wind schielded and thermal insulated lounge for multiple athletes - 40m², 2 separate WC - 10m², a small counter with pins and a sink - 10m², a storage and a big terrace. The construction schould strictly consist of precasted steel profiles and plates.”

creation & design 2 life as a house

bulgarian cultural centre in Graz

My idea for the free building gap in “Wonderlend”, in the former Mur suburb of Graz, close to the Peter Cook’s “Kunsthaus” is to Bulgaria related cultural centre. The architectural complexity consists of five main funktions, launched on four levels - a multy-purpose foyer and exhibition space, a cafe and a small library with reading area. The design concentrates on an open free space with a lot of natural light. For that purpose are the non-load-bearing frosted glas internal walls and the glazed gaps between the buildings. All other openings on the facade are blinded with perforated black steel sheets in order to form a homogene volume with the black concrete walls. The footbridge works as an extension of the cafe and offers a spectacular connection with the banks of the river Mur. Tutor: Dipl.-Ing. Sanela Pasinger Institut for Urban Planning TUGraz

mobile life

kinetic art

Everything in this project revolves around a curved line and the accomplishment of a most effective transformation. The ambition is - from a box (7.75m, 2.76m, 3.18m) to create a mobile showroom, which brings the art closer to people. The tools for this are two simple actions - unroll (1-2) and slide (3-4). As a result, a stable base and enormous space expansion are being achieved. Then, with curtains and a flexible foldable paper wall the interior is being divided into 3 zones - entrance/exit, bright and dark area. The bright area is fitted on the left and right side with shelves for 3d objects and slightly outwards inclined wall elements for 2d images. The dark area is adapted for interactive art. The partition wall follows the shape of the original line and thus defines the sequence of the various interior areas and controls the indoor climate trought integrated fresh and waste air pipes. The only openings above the shelves and the outwards inclined wall elements provide indirect natural light. The soft colorful balls are meant to be easily movable seating-accommodations. Tutor: Dipl.-Ing. Erica Petric Institut for Architecture technologie TUGraz

“• Suitable use for the design: living, working, or mixed use. • Floor space: min.4000 m2 (Gross floor space ca. 6500 m²). • Implemented at one of the 4 locations: Madrid, London, Singapur, Moskow. • Consideration for the future use of the three undeveloped quadrant. • Free building heights. • The design is developed based on both qualitative considerations and quantitative calculations and checks.”
