94.7 Cycle Challenge INSTRUCTIONS
How to (re)perform Anthea Moys’ 94.7 Cycle Challenge (2006)
1.
Find a local bicycle race – preferably a large, organised one.
2.
Obtain a stationary bicycle.
3.
Research the route of the race and find a suitably steep incline on which one will then place the stationary bicycle.
4.
Come race day, ensure you have the correct cycling gear – padded spandex pants, cycling vest, helmet, sunglasses – all preferably red.
5.
Position your stationary bike timeously at the afore-mentioned, researched location, facing up the hill (in the direction of the race).
6.
Cycle uphill for one hour while the other participants of the race cycle past you.
