SAND SAND is a naturally occurring granular material composed of finely divided rock and mineral particles.

ARKOSE ARKOSE is a sedimentary rock, specifically, a type of sandstone, composed mainly of sand-sized minerals or rock grains.

CORAL CORALS are marine invertebrates that live in compact colonies of many identical individual polyps.

DUNE DUNE is a hill of sand built by either wind or water flow. Dunes occur in different shapes and sizes, formed by interaction with the flow of air or water.

DESERT A DESERT is a region of land that is very dry with hostile living conditions.

Across the world, around 20% of desert is sand.

SHORE BREAK A SHORE BREAK is a wave that breaks directly on or very close to the shore.

This happens when the beach is very steep at the shoreline.

EROSION EROSION is a natural process, in which earth is worn away. Erosion by water changes the shapes of coastlines. Waves constantly crash against shores. They pound rocks into pebbles and reduce pebbles to sand.

VIK VIK is a beach with black sand in Iceland.

The Areia Collection has few and unique pieces. Each impression, color combination, imperfection, fingerprint and little changes in shape and tone after firing add quality and exclusivity to the items.
