NOTORIOUS T.Y.P.E. As far back as I can remember I have been an admirer of typography. At a young age I didn’t understand why type captured my eye or what I was even seeing, but when I looked at typography, I saw much more than ink on paper. Ever since, I have been a lover of all things type. What is type to me? Type is everything. Type has emotion, attitude, character, and personality. It is the first and last thing on my mind when designing. T.Y.P.E. is a tenacious yearning for polished excellence.
BIG APPLE. Zoo York has a rich 25 year history in the world of skateboarding. This is my interpretation of Zoo York’s stamp on the Big Apple. I art directed, designed, and published the Big Apple skateboard design. Sold in a skate shop near you.

DESIGNED TO FIT. Apparel designs for Zoo York. Featuring the AWEZ tag hoodie/shirt, the Big Apple hoodie/ shirt, and the Blockbuster Skyline shirt. Sold around the world in a JCPenny’s near you.
AGENDA TRADE SHOW BOOTHS. Agenda is the most diverse and creative lifestyle fashion trade show in the world. Since 2003, Agenda has emerged as the premier destination for brands and retailers to converge. I designed the Zoo York trade show booths that were featured in Agenda: Las Vegas 2016 and Agenda: Long Beach 2016.
REFRESHING DESIGN. The Craft Brewers Conference (CBC) is the only industry event that serves both brewpubs and packaging breweries. The conference is also a great social event with thousands of brewing industry professionals enjoying craft brews together. This is an annual show that travels to different cities each year.
To commemorate the CBC in Nashville Tennessee, I designed the symposium beer for the entire event. Taking inspiration from the Tennessee state bird I created an original “hand-crafted� illustration that captures the organic movement of the Northern Mockingbird; while simultaneously highlighting the location of this years event. This symposium beer was included in the 11,000+ events swag bags which were given to all of the attendants at the CBC: Nashville Tennessee.
BROADWAY COMES TO BABYLON. The Argyle Theatre opened in 2018 with professional Broadway-caliber productions year-round, concert and comedy acts, specialty shows, film series, educational programming and so much more. The inaugural season will offers six annual main stage productions featuring performers from Actors Equity Association, the union for professional stage actors. I designed the editorial program for The Argyle Theatre. Programs are designed specifically and uniquely for all Main Stage Show productions. I also designed advertisements for The Argyle Theatre which were featured in Newsday, List Magazine, and The LIRR. As well as designing the Argyle Theatre website that allows the user to view upcoming events to the Main Stage Show productions or the Children’s Theatre and plan their visit to the Argyle Theatre.
A NEW RITUAL HAS EMERGED. Ron Izalco takes you on a journey to the mystic volcanic lands of Central America, widely known as the “Lighthouse of the Pacific”. Aged to perfection for 10 years with Central American dedication and artisanal distinction, Ron Izalco is the phenomenon, the amber treasure, the connoisseur’s choice and the true essence of Central America. Web design for Ron w product to showcase the story of the product. As well as introduce to the public The New Ritual of drinking premium rum neat, on the rocks, in a Manhattan, or in an Old Fashioned.
MASTER TECHNIQUE, MODERN MEDIUM. Taking a medium, that was originally sold to paint lawn chairs and mailboxes, to a new level. I study the masters and apply their techniques to my own artwork. I create original works of art with spray paint. Each mural is created on a grand scale accomplished through calculated and deliberate planning combined with an intense understanding of the art being painted.

CLASSIC DESIGN. Classics with a Can is an art event where I present basic art techniques with the purpose of creating art with the medium of spray paint. Using a medium that was originally sold for the purpose of painting lawn chairs and old mail boxes and taking it to a new level. This is accomplished by studying the masters and applying their painting techniques; but on a much large scale and with a not so usual medium. Taking art out of the museum galleries and bringing it to the streets.

A TIMELY DESIGN. I was invited to be a part of Madison Avenue Watch Week by a colleague and Kevin O’Callaghan. I came on last minute and completed a New York graffiti style watch design. This became an art installation that was showcased on Madison Ave and 74th. Street. Madison Avenue Watch Week is presented by the Madison Avenue Business Improvement District and sponsored by The Wall Street Journal.
