The best stick to their Process.

We follow a strict in-house process that takes your idea to a ready-to-use mobile application accessible on any desired platform.

Now pay attention, this is the fun part for you! After all that hard work, long hours and panic attacks, we send you over a final demonstrative build. You get to play with your mobile

Within a week after you’ve agreed to sign your life away and sent us the questionnaire, we’ll contact you to set up a project kick-off call. This is simply for you and our crew to become acquainted with one another and learn more about your brand, idea and team. During this time, we also establish a working timeline, goals, design and any other necessary information. Our priority is to leave you feeling comfortable and excited.

app and make sure the functionality is to your standards.

06.

Once we receive your blessing and final payments, we submit the app to the pre-designated store(s).

07.

As we are waiting for approval from the app store(s), we’ll begin configuring and launching your marketing package if applicable. This effort includes Facebook and Twitter development that will draw consumers to your app.

03.

About a week after our kick-off call, we’ll send you over a SOW (summary of work), which further outlines the development breakdown. Here we will agree upon breakingup the timeframe of the project into stages, or what we like to call milestone builds (and sometimes sprints). (We like to give complex titles to everything huh?) During this time, we’ll ask you to join our project management site: Basecamp. This will harvest the majority of our communications.

5

08.

Breathe; the stress is over (at least on our end)! Now we just have to cross our fingers and hope for no bugs. Typically, we don’t forecast any complications to arise but if they do, our contract agrees to fix them within 6 months (unless otherwise noted in contract).

Design A Guide

P

Wireframes - Preliminary design stage that showcases the functionality and workflow of the app.

P PRIVATEXT

As part of our design process, we’ll take the questionnaire that you will soon be filling out for us on the next page, any files, references and incorporate them into a mood-board that showcases several themes, fonts and design direction.

PRIVATEXT Heading The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. 1234567890-=!@#$%^&*()_+

Mood Boards - Exploration of different design approaches to the overall look and feel of the app.

After we receive and implement your feedback, we’ll mock-up what each potential mobile app page will look like. During this process, you’ll receive a basic wireframe/mock, a map that shows the complete functionality and flow of your application, and final specs with the complete design. Momentum Mobile’s flat fee pricing structure includes a maximum 3 revisions to design work, as well as all functionality as outlined in the spec document. Any change request to app functionality outside of scope, or further revisions to design will be assessed at an hourly rate in addition to agreed upon flat rate.

Mockups - Implementation of chosen design direction.

Social Marketing If you don’t already know, social marketing is the next big thing. We wouldn’t want to leave you in the dark if you’re not already on board the social media train. That’s why we want to create your own Twitter and Facebook account that you can use to tell your social fan base to download your mobile app. If you’re feeling more creative, we also have some other ideas on how we can integrate more social media using your mobile app. Aren’t quite sold yet? Client Wish List In order to design and develop your mobile app as efficiently as possible, we would like to ask you to do a couple of things on your end. This also helps you maintain privacy since most of these actions will require credit card information. Of course we wouldn’t just send you on your way just like that. With each requirement, we’ve also provided you a resource that will aid you during each step.

Domain purchase

UDID (Unique Device Identifier)

Remember when we mentioned we did more than just build you a mobile app? We will also provide you with a custom marketing website for your app. This page can link to your previously existing brand site or can stand-alone. If you don’t already have a domain purchased, we’ll need you to go ahead and do that. Feel free to do that using any hosting site provider.

ac·count·abil·i·ty noun \ə-ˌkau̇n-tə-ˈbi-lə-tē\

The quality or state of being accountable; especially: an obligation or willingness to accept responsibility or to account for one’s actions.

Your mobile app is important to you—your business is important us. In order to get your app completed to your standards, we’ll do as much on our end as we can. We’d like to think of our partnership as an act of reciprocity, or one where we positively hold each other accountable for the progress of every developmental step. Just as you need us to work around your schedule, team and requirements, we may need some flexibility too. Although you’re mobile app is a priority, we are building apps for several other clients as well. All in all, we are human. Please be patient and bare with us, because although we are experts, we are still learning new things everyday!

Putting Accountability into Practice Example #1: Sometimes we can get so wrapped up in our daily lives that we unconsciously forget our accountability rule. To avoid latent responses, let’s make an initiative to answer messages, comments, emails, etc. within a 24-36 hour timeframe.
