Piet Mondrian's drawing was used as the par ti for my building and the layout. The rest of his drawing used for bookshelf's layout. The reason why I pick up Piet mondrian because his idea"he simplified the subjects of his paintings down to the most basic elements, in order to reveal the essence of the mystical energy in the balance of forces that governed nature and the Universe." just like the meaningful of book. And this also is the function I grade for my bookshelf. Every bookshelf used to separate space, people will find a new space or exterior environment when they take away the book. It also encourage people to look at more books.

People will easily find out the space where they want to go since all the wall is made by glass, the big empty window will leave the space to let the guest find out the aim location, and sky-light will bring into enough daily lighting, so nobody will feel this is a abondand area even though it has been insulated by the book at another three way.

South Elevation The facade of Council Grove Library is yellow tone stone with gray concrete because the most of building at site is yellow tone building which it will help my building fit into the site. Glass wall will balance ponderously feeling of stone facade.

West Elevation The Council Grove library located at the small town which the site building has more residencial building especially it close to a private house. This is the reason why I use the strong cube shape to keep project simple.

The Neverland Dance studio Wichita, Old Town, Kansas Each dancer's movement just looks like a triangular shape in the world, everyone has their own charactor because different people has different way to interprete thier dance. But they still can dance together to be a new thing to create unlimited possible in their world. In my concept, each triangular shape have thier own way and own direction but they made a building when they combine together. The movement building is also my initial idea about how to create a dynamic architecture.

The roof is designed into a special way which the water will be leaded into the specific way and insulation layer will protect sturcture layer. The Insulation later with glass can reduce the water pressure and rbing enough skylight into building.

The facade is made by three layer which have stone facade, steel structure and interior wall. The function of stone facade can take the water and lead water into drianage system which reduce the water pressure for the project. Dance studio

The third floor has the biggest studio and it also work as performance space. This is the reason why exterior space on the third floor which used to take a break for guest and this is a under roof exterior space with special roof structure which it use the linen to cover a part of sky-lighting. So people can enjoy exterior environment without glazing.
