I don’t remember a time before I could read. My grandmother was famous for telling people that she realized I could read when I took a recipe out of her collection and started to get the ingredients together, at about 3. I’m a reader because I love books, a reviewer because I enjoy giving back and introducing people to authors they may never have seen before. I minored in British Literature in university, and bring that experience of reading while noticing elements of character development, continuity and plotting to my reviews, while avoiding the spoilers and simple recount of the book blurb.
