Over the past century, Belgium has had over 100 car brands and was named one of the best car producers in the world. All of these mythical and exotic brands have disapeared. From the 1950’s on, Belgium again made a solid reputation as a world top player in car assembly business. Unfortunately, this industry is under economic pressure and threatens to disappear. However, today Belgium has made a powerful name for itself in the world of International GT racing. Belgians pilots are amongst the best of the world. Belgian race teams are known for the preparation of race cars. The Total 24 hours of Spa next to being one of the most important sports events of the year in Belgium, is the most popular race in the country and also the most coveted of all endurance races exclusively reserved to Grand Turismo Cars (GT3). For this 66th edition of the Total 24 hours of Spa, the lineup promises to be truly exceptional, with more than 70 cars from the four corners of the world. These racing beauties, committed by the top of the car manufacturers , will defend tooth and nail the colours of a dozen of exclusive car marques. The Aston Martin Brussels Racing Team will be competing with two V12 Vantage GT3 ( one Pro and one Pro Am car )
The driver line up for the pro car will be made up by three professional “Belgians“ top drivers - a Flemish, a Walloon and a Brussels pilot - and the cars will be prepared and serviced by “Belgians“ mechanics. Since 2013, the “Belgians“ national sports teams such as the national football, hockey, volleyball, athletics, tennis, motorcross, cyclocross and cycling teams are very succesfull all over the world and Brussels Racing is ready to surf the “Belgians“ wave by aiming for glory at the 2014 edition Spa 24 hours.

Belgium expertise is definitively more than well known and recognized in the GT world.
BRAND ASSOCIATION SPA - UNIQUE EVENT SURF ON “THE BELGIANS“ WAVE For Spa 24h it is a unique occasion to ensure visibility of the brand and also create a VIP event : • Vector of communication: - Huge media coverage&impact (in 2013 more than 59.553.764 Contacts (26% TV, 29% Press, 23% Web and 22% via Social Networks) - 35.000 visitors/day; - As press coverage with classical press (le soir, Nieuwsblad, Le Standard, DH, ...) and also specialized press (autonews, autosport, Turbo Magazine, ...) - TV coverage (RTBF, Sport 10, Pitstop Live Major regional TVs, CBS sports).
