Gail Harper Yeilding
Gail Harper Yeilding is a PhD candidate in English Education at Auburn University. She is currently exploring the links between literacies, SDG’s, and YPAR through her dissertation work creating a curriculum with Roger Thurow called Learning Through Storytelling. She has taught in K-12 environments for 12 years and has taught juniors in Teacher Education and has supervised internships with preservice teachers. She graduated from Boston College with a double major in English and Secondary Education and has a Masters in English Language Arts curriculum from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She has taught internationally in South Africa, on a reservation in Zuni, New Mexico, in urban environments in Boston and Birmingham, and suburban areas of Birmingham, Alabama.
