Gail Strickland

Tiburon, United States

Born in Brooklyn. Raised in California. Passionate about writing and music and the way people are the heartbeat between the two. While studying the classics in college, I translated much of Homer’s ILIAD and ODYSSEY and DELPHIC PROPHECIES by Herodotus. Living on the Greek islands after college, I discovered a love of myth, the wine-dark sea and retsina. My fiction has been recognized by THE BALTIMORE REVIEW and WRITER’S DIGEST. I also published stories and poems in Travelers’ Tales anthologies and the San Francisco Writer’s anthology. My poetry and photography were published in a collection called CLUTTER. I recently completed my first novel, NIGHT OF PAN, a mythic journey of a young Oracle in ancient Greece who was the only one who could save the cradle of democracy from the largest invasion the world had ever seen.
