of art collected over the 60 years it has been operating. The collection counts about one thousand exhibits. A considerable part of it is painting – mainly landscapes pained on location during various events organized in the city and the region. The exhibition, historical in character, presents the key figures of art in Opole of the last six decades to the inhabitants of Opole. It will constitute a unique review of the landscape of the region: its villages, towns, industry booming in the previous century, local residents and the ”fantastic” capital of the region – Opole.
