The Fine Arts Boosters, affectionately known as FAB, welcomes you to Chaddick for anotheryearofremarkableworkfromourstudentsandfaculty!
Since its inception over 20 years ago, FAB has helped to support a vibrant and engaging learning experience for all our students across grade levels. Along the way, our commitment to the Fine Arts at Galloway has evolved into a volunteer organization that, last year alone, sponsored the creation of the Fine Arts Leadership Consortium (FALC), a professional organization uniting independent school directors of fine arts; hosted a school-wideartsopenhouseinwhichGallowayfamiliesparticipatedinfaculty-ledfinearts activities; recognized our faculty with teacher-appreciation gifts; co-sponsored inviting an artist in residence to campus; added new positions to our board; and, in keeping true to ourorigins, providedmeals, snacks, andeventreceptionstoourschoolcommunity.
We think you will see that as the Fine Arts at Galloway has grown, so has FAB and the many ways we support what is truly a world-class fine arts curriculum. With this growth and our evolving fine arts curriculum in mind, FAB proudly announces that we have formally applied for non-profit status, a designation that will give our organization the flexibility to continue adapting to its supporting role of Fine Arts at Galloway. We look forward to sharing the good news of our 501c3 incorporation with all of you once it has beenformalized!
In the meantime, what is most important remains the same: Your membership, volunteer hours, playbill sponsorship, and partnership with FAB allow us to continue expanding, elevating, and enhancing our students’ arts education, the value of which goes far beyond the skills you see at the surface–although those are indeed very impressive! The arts create meaning and provide perspective on the world. They engender empathy and help usunderstandotherpointsofview.Inshort,theymakeourhumanexperiencericher.
If you aren’t yet involved, but would like to be, please see us in the lobby or on the Fine Arts at Galloway website to learn more. Your involvement in FAB will ensure you a frontrowseatinthecontinuedsuccessofartsprogrammingatGalloway.
