Otras Composiciones Como parte del programa de estudios de arquitectura en el ITESM campus MTY, se enseña al alumno a perderle el miedo y desarrollar su creatividad. De aquí que en los siguientes proyectos trate siempre de buscar expresar algo mas que solo encontrar un buen diseño, una buena representación, encontrar el significado y lograr expresar mi forma de percibir cosas: Mis primeros pasos en la arquitectura.

As part of the curriculum for architecture at the ITESM Campus MTY, they teach the student to lose the fear and to develop their creativity. R.Shindler: Pueblo Ribera

El museo Randers del despacho 3XN, fue mi proyecto para Visualización Digital, de formas mas flexibles, y con una estructura muy bien ordenada en el proyecto no representaba mucho reto realizar este trabajo utilizando el software que se pedía (3DMax), pero fue un reto cuando tome la decisión de cambiar de software y utilizar una nueva y poderosa herramienta: Revit.

Trabajo del Arquitecto Americano Rudolph Schindler, fue asignado para la clase de proyectos arquitectónicos III, con el arquitecto Agustín Landa, como mi caso de estudio, en donde el diseño sencillo de este arquitecto en busca de un estilo no solo propio, si no para una cultura lo llevo al uso del concreto aparente y elementos que llevan siempre al espectador a una sorpresa.

Aunque no es su mejor proyecto, Pueblo Ribera empieza por definir el estilo del arquitecto y da de manera ordenada una solución a un conjunto de viviendas. Los patios interiores, las sombras que se proyectan por las pérgolas y celosías asi como la apertura del espacio interno logran de este conjunto de casas un gran ejemplo de lo que se puede hacer con una arquitectura ordenada.

Esto es importante, pues en pro del diseño, entender que los programas no te limitan si no que son solo herramientas, ayudan a que el arquitecto pueda tener mas tiempo para plantearse el problema y dar una mejor solución arquitectónica. The Randers Museum by the firm 3XN, was assigned to me as a project for the class of Digital Visuals. It has very flexible forms, and a very well organized structure. This project for its simplicity was not a real challenge for the software that we were told to us (3DMax), but when I took the decision of changing to Revit I realized I could learn more about this powerful tool. This is important not because of what the software offers to design, but more for the time that could save on all of the construction plans you have to give, giving then more time to the architect to really do a more though and planned architectonic solution.

3XN Arquitectos: Randers Museum.

Work by the American architect, Rudolph Schindler, was assigned for the class of architectural projects III with the architect Agustín Landa as a case for study. And where the simplicity on the design proposed by the architect in the pursuit for not only for a style of his own but one that could reflect a culture using only apparent concrete and elements of surprise. 7

Juan Pablo Maza Ordos 100: Villa No.35 Pensado por el arquitecto Ricardo de la Masa, para el ambicioso proyecto de ORDOS100. La villa no.35 fue el proyecto que yo escogí para la clase de modelación digital. Aparte de su arquitectura, la cual no solamente refleja mucho de los 5 puntos de Le Corbusier, si no que también busca ser una alegoría de un árbol torcido con su tronco, y donde los pilotis hacen que los verdaderos soportes de la casa de pierdan.

La casa es una muestra casi poética de los alcances de la arquitectura. Pues aun cuando muchos elementos están de sobra, el arquitecto logra crear una ilusión óptica y así lograr el efecto de un volumen flotante. Modelar en la clase esta casa fue un reto no solo por el orden, si no por la sencillez formal del proyecto, y por lo que si no se hacían bien las cosas había una gran posibilidad de que quedara mal.

Visualized by the architect Ricardo de la Masa, for the project ORDOS100, the Tree House or the villa No. 35 was the model that I chose for the class of Digital Modeling. Apart from its architecture, that not only reflects the 5 points of Le Corbusier, but also seeks inspiration on a tree, twisted in the trunk, and where the pilotis that support the loads get lost. The house is an almost poetic way of perceiving architecture. Because apart of having many elements that are not necessary, they are used for creating an optical illusion, an by that create a floating volume that is only supported by a twisted staircase.

3D modeling this house was a real challenge not only because of the order in the project, but also the simplicity in it, so if the work was not done in the right way there where some risk of having a total failure.

Primera Etapa First Part

Loft Constitucion Clase Fundamentos del Diseño II: Maestro Arq. Oscar Mendoza Class Basic Desgin II/ Teacher Arq. Oscar Mendoza

Como primer trabajo donde se manejan espacios , y un primer acercamiento ya al diseño arquitectónico, el proyecto que se nos asigno fue en los condominios Constitución. Se nos asignaban dos pisos de altura y 9x9m de perímetro, con la única limitante de dejar las cuatro paredes, no se loe podía hacer ninguna extensión y agregar dos ventanas sin tomar en cuenta las ya existentes, los términos LOFT, desniveles, espacio comenzaron a afectar nuestra manera de distribuir y replantear las cosas. La solución fue en la distribución que se le dio al proyecto, donde se le agrego un tapanco, donde se colocaba la habitación y un baño con vestidor, además de agregar un pequeño estudio, en la planta baja un baño de invitados, la cocina y comedor, además de hacer un pequeño desnivel a +0.30m para agregar una sala de T.V para poder hacer la diferencia en los espacios. las dos ventanas, una al sur y otra al oriente (debido a la orientación del edificio que se nos asigno) se agregaron a doble altura para dar una mayor apertura.

As my first approach to working with spaces and architectonic design, the project that was assigned to us took place at the Constitucion Condominiums in Downtown Monterrey, Where to floors and a 9x9m of perimeter was assigned to us with the only the rules of keeping the walls, not adding any extension an giving two windows. Some terms like Loft, levels, and space began to affect the way of working. The solution was the distribution that was given to the space, where a mezzanine was fixed to give the small Loft a room, complete bathroom and a small studio, on the lower plant a half bathroom, the kitchen, a dining room and a small T.V. room that was given by adding a +0.30m of level. The windows where oriented in south and east due to the location of the building and had a double height to give more openness to the module.

El resultado es una vivienda para 3 personas, que agrupados pueden formar una mini comunidad donde se comparten los servicios y se trata de aprovechar al máximo el reducido espacio. La unidad consta de dos camas fijas, un mini sillón que se transforma en cama y una mesa que se levanta para dar espacio al sillón. La idea es que la familia se mantenga unida y buscar dar flexibilidad al espacio.

The “Casa Emergente” Project was assigned to us with the importance for us students as for acknowledging that as architects we have to be always aware and ready to give a functional and responsible space, that not only has design, but also that could be something that innovates. Thinking of a house that could be made out of a really low budget in case of any emergency, it’s how this module was designed. With a tetra pack® based cover system for the walls and a wood frame is given a 3 people module for living, that put on together could form a community where the main services are shared, the most important thing is to maximize space. The unit is formed by two beds, a small sofa that transforms into a bed, and a table that could be flexed to free space in order to make the sofa a bed. The main idea is to keep families together and to give flexibility to the space.

Segunda Etapa Second Part

El proyecto de la Casa Emergente, se nos asigna con la importancia de que como arquitectos debemos estar siempre listos para dar un espacio funcional y responsable con la sociedad, que no solo tenga diseño sino que también pueda ser algo innovador. Pensado como una casa que se pueda hacer con bajo costo en caso de una emergencia se llega a este diseño. Con un sistema donde los muros son hechos por una cubierta de tetra pack® y un marco de madera.

Casa de piedra es la primera propuesta para una casa habitación, ubicada al sur de Monterrey rumbo a la carretera nacional. La propuesta nace de la idea de levantar el suelo del lugar y envolver lo hecho por el hombre con lo natural y de ahí su nombre. La forma entonces sigue un juego de fachadas que siempre cambia y por medio de volúmenes que salen o se meten esconden las fachadas creando un recorrido por el exterior dado por las fachadas. El recibidor es una alusión a una caja de sorpresas que al entrar descubre un jardín interno e inicia un recorrido dado por la luz que se muestra en los pisos y paredes. Esta casa retoma ideas como las de Aalto en la villa Mairea.

“Casa de piedra” is the first habitational unit proposed, it is located in the south part of the city of Monterrey. The proposal comes from the idea of raising the context ground in order to wrap everything made by human hands; its name comes from that idea. The form evokes movement by having all of the façades different forms that submerge and emerge to give the user a experience of discovering all of the elements of the house. The inner part starts with a lobby that works as a container to explode in an interior garden that begins the walkthrough and its indicated by the light that enters by the windows and reflects in the walls and floors. This house takes the ideas of Aalto in the Villa Mairea.

Rural2 nace de la idea del crecimiento desmesurado en Monterrey y zonas conurbadas, donde se analizaron cuestiones como la conectividad, la productividad y la creación de nuevos espacios o en este caso la recuperación de espacios en peligro. El proyecto se asigna bajo la sonante propuesta del Gobierno de Nuevo León para hacer un túnel por el cerro de la Silla, icono del estado pero un túnel que busca responder a la incapacidad de conectar la zona sur de la ciudad. Los problemas que dieron pie a Rural2, es por la invasión de zonas rurales por la ciudad, la cual a pesar de su desmesurado crecimiento en horizontal muestra abandono de zonas como su centro y da pie a diferentes fenómenos que destruyen la ciudad como lo son los fraccionamientos de interés social, donde se segmenta a una cada vez más marginada sociedad. La propuesta de Rural2 propone un análisis del terreno, donde el crecimiento no se elimina, sino que es potenciar lo ya existente en la zona donde se ubica el proyecto que es a orilla del municipio de Juárez, donde el mismo contexto hablaba de una abandonada zona rural que no le quedaba más que ceder paso a la ciudad. Los ejes que se proponen son a partir del rio santa Catarina y de las cañadas que existen en el lugar, creando como dos hitos una plaza de toros con flexibilidad para transformase (rojo con rosa) en mercado, y una cede del ITESM para la investigación rural (verde). Además como diversas mega cuadras donde se proponían edificios de uso mixto (rojo) con la ventaja de dejar las actividades agrícolas en su lugar, y también la capacidad para involucrar a la comunidad en este tipo de actividades. Las dos propuestas que aquí se muestran es un volumétrico de la cede del ITESM, donde busca integrarse al terreno enclavándose en el mismo un nivel y medio, dando aun continuidad a las vistas que ya existen, y la otra un bloque de usos mixto, donde se busca modular en diferentes tipos para que el crecimiento no tenga que ser de manera horizontal si no vertical, respondiendo a las nuevas necesidades de vivienda de la zona.

Rural2 comes from the observation made in the city of Monterrey and the suburban cities that have been growing on an amazing speed, where the connectivity, productivity and for this particular case the preservation of a space in urban danger was taken for study. The project is born from the polemic governmental proposal of making a tunnel in order to connect the southern suburbs and the city of Monterrey. This tunnel was to be made in the iconic “Cerro de la Silla” that is part of the culture and a very important icon of this region. Rural2 seeks to protect the rural regions of the site, from the invasiveness of the city, which is growing in a non-ordinate way leaving dead zones like even its own downtown, socially segmenting by expanding only on low income urbanizations that are left out contradictorily of the city utilities and benefits. It also proposes to create a more conscious grow and expansion by empowering what already exist in the site. That is an already forgotten rural community which could work perfect but has been driven to extinction to leave free pass to the city by cutting out the resources. To empower the zone Rural2 proposes one main axis that would continue the pass of the Santa Catarina River, and then will connect into two main buildings, a Plaza (in red and pink) for rodeos, other country entertainment or the Mexican “charreadas” this plaza would have the flexibility to turn into a market. Then the other would be an institute (in green) by the ITESM to promote the rural research. Then the division would be given by mega blocks formed by the water canals from the existing plantations conserving them also and creating a place to give more community and to keep on the agriculture. The two proposals that are shown in the images are of the ITESM institute, and a mix type building to be put on the mega blocks. The institute tries to fuse with the context by submerging in one and a half levels, creating openings on the top but more important fusing on the horizon with what is already there. And then the mix type building which tried to create a modulated place in order to give more housing to the growing demand of it and having all of the lower part for commerce. This is solving the necessity of housing in a more vertical way so that the megabloks can be preserved for their agricultural conditions.

Reflejo de la historia Histories Reflection

El Monasterio de los Marineros, es un proyecto que busca no solo entender un primer contexto físico, si no adentrarse en uno que observa y analiza diferentes épocas de la historia, quiere ser una analogía contemporánea de lo que fueron los monasterios y de qué manera se viviría uno hoy en día. Basado en el Plano y ordenamiento de San Gail, donde el acomodo de cada uno de los elementos que componen a este monasterio se representa de manera literaria o simplemente se adapta a un reinterpretación contemporánea. El sitio, España en la región de Catalunya se alinea el monasterio para dar al mediterráneo, los detalles reflejan una austeridad al igual que los materiales, esto como una analogía de la arquitectura cister, al igual que las dos torres en la iglesia, una planta en forma de cruz como la arquitectura románica. Las formas en general son una analogía de elementos marinos, el campanario que simula ser un faro, la iglesia que imita los perfiles de un barco, el volumen de las habitaciones y demás actividades trata de ser algo similar a una concha. Finalmente en planta existen diversos elementos de simbolismos como el espejo de agua detrás de la iglesia pero abrazado por los volúmenes en general representa al espejo de agua como nuestro reflejo o el reflejo del mundo y la iglesia abrazando a este, así como el jardín en planta escribe en kajis japoneses la palabra río.

The Marineros Monastery is a project that is not only trying to understand a physical context but to do a remembrance of the past, a representation of what It was a Monastery projected in a contemporary way, based on St. Gail planning where all of the elements are put on together as it was back then or by a reinterpretation of something that could be a more actual. Located in the region of Catalonia in Spain, where the alignment is given by orientation and by the embracing of the Mediterranean ocean, all of its elements are really austere like the cister period, and the way the plant is (cross shaped), and the two towers has reference on the romanic architecture. The forms allude marine elements, so the bell tower simulates to be a light house and the church a boat and the other volume tries to have the shapes of a shell, also symbolism is very important so the water reflection is then a mirror of ourselves and of the world, and the whole monastery its embracing as if it was doing it to humanity, finally the garden writes on a plant view the Japanese kanjis: river. This project is a clear example of the reflection of ourselves an culture through architecture.

Este proyecto quiere ser el ejemplo claro de que la arquitectura no solo refleja al arquitecto, si no a su cultura.

Entender el contexto Understanding the context La casa los planos es un proyecto para la clase de tecnologías de la construcción, donde el principal enfoque es entender los recursos que tenemos a la mano, curiosamente y con la crisis económica que ya empezaba a mostrarse daba pie a hacerse nuevamente el cuestionamiento de hacia donde se esta orientando la construcción.

The Casa los Planos is project for class of construction technologies, where the main approach is to peculiarly understand the resources that we have at hands as well as the possibilities in construction. These elements and the economic crisis that already began to be showing their consequences set the table to make ourselves the questioning of towards where the construction is oriented.

Al ver las diferentes posibilidades que existen en el ámbito de la construcción daban pie para explorar sobre la posibilidad de no solo entender el contexto, y lo que la proyección de los planos significa, si no que la misma estructura se convirtiera en el elemento estético y tecnológico, hacer de este proyecto un verdadero pretexto para investigar formalmente las capacidades que ofrece la buena arquitectura.

Seeing then the possibilities that Technologies gives us came the excuse not only to explore the possibility to learn about the context or what it means to do the executive work plans, but also to explore the aesthetic of the elements and make this project a real way to explore what good architecture can achieve.

La casa los planos busca partir de la estructura y los diferentes muros levantándose o sumergiéndose para formas distintos planos que se apropian de el contexto y buscaran explotar al máximo los sistemas pasivos y así aprovechar la orientación solar, las bajadas de agua y los vientos dominantes

The starting point of the project is the structural elements that are ruled by the walls and the planes that form by subtracting or submerging them in order to become one to the context and make better use of the passive systems, like sun orientation, water drops ant eh dominant winds.

Tecnologías de la construcción Construction Technologies Maestro Teacher Ing.Carlos Rios Location San Pedro Méxicp Año Year 2009

Centro Comunitario Colón El Centro comunitario Colón es un proyecto cuyo principal enfoque es un edificio que se mantuviera abierto a la zona, que las personas pudieran sentir pertenencia y que no siguiera siendo una isla para la ciudad, es cuestión de entender las palabras para poder lograr su significado y transformar este edificio en un centro. Dejando la planta libre y respetando los muros de la zona poniente donde al suelo y para refrescar en general se coloca una serie de espejos de agua y rodeando los muros antiguos para que de igual manera se logre tener reflejo de luz en el techo del centro comunitario. El programa se distribuye a partir de los brazos y los 4 volúmenes donde uno al oriente es una estación de bomberos, al poniente un auditorio, al norte una biblioteca y al sur un gimnasio, la idea de la planta libre viene de buscar que el espacio o el vacío que se forma y se contiene por las pérgolas o el techo, pueda ser un elemento que la comunidad transforme y use.

The Colón Community Center is a project that seeks to have a building that transforms the zone, and cause a feeling of identity merging it with the context instead of creating a barrier. It is then just literal interpretation of the name, where it seeks to create a center. The building has a free floor plant, and respects some of the old walls of the factory, creating a void that is then contain by the structure followed by some water that then is order to reflect light in the celling of the community center. The program it’s distributed by two main arms and 4 volumes where the fire station is held on the west, the auditorium on the east, at north the library and on the south the gymnasium, the free floor plant tries to create a better community life, and its contained by the structure leaving everyone an open space integrating to the context and leaving this voids to the community so that they can transform them.

Toda la arquitectura busca entender y reflejar los ideales humanos, y es hasta el siglo XIX donde se considera exponer y hablar ya sobre la cultura. Este ejercicio que nos llevó a entender desde el tema seleccionado cómo fue el modernismo catalán, hasta finalmente comprender y diseñar un museo, no involucra únicamente el entendimiento de los museos del siglo XIX, sino un proceso que tiene que reflejar la importancia de las primeras tipologías arquitectónicas, hasta las vanguardias propuestas gracias a la revolución industrial.

Architecture seeks to understand and reflect human ideals, but it wasn’t until the XIX century, that it was considered to expose a talk about culture. This new practice would give away a new typology: Museums, This project is looking to reflect the Catalan Modernism by designing a museum in the exact way that museums where design on the XIX century, but in a contemporary context, the process has to reflect the importance on the architectonic typologies, as well as the proposed vanguards thanks to the industrial revolution.

Por otra parte, se realizamó un trabajo bastante acertado en las cualidades y particularidades que tuvo este movimiento catalán, ayudando a entender el verdadero funcionamiento de un museo y cómo debe de ser expresado el arte del interior por medio del lenguaje arquitectónico para que la gente sepa lo que se expone sin haber entrar al museo.

Also the work seems very contextualized and reflects the particularities that the Catalan Modernism had, helping to understand the use and function of the Museum, expressing on the outside just what the inside has in the architectonic elements so that the people know what is held inside without entering the museum.

El edificio Fundidora, es un proyecto para la zona centro de Monterrey cerca del parque fundidora, donde últimamente las condiciones para rescatar a esta ya abandonada zona han dado paso a que los usos de suelo cambien y que se esté dando una mayor oportunidad para que nuevos proyectos se desarrollen y den nuevamente vida al lugar. El edificio sin ser masivo, busca convertirse en un icono y un punto de partida para los siguientes proyectos, con grandes influencias en el arquitecto Mies Van der Rohe, el edificio busca tomar elementos del pasado de la ciudad de Monterrey, así como de edificios antiguos que representaron esa búsqueda por dar nuevas soluciones a la ciudad. También gracias a su ubicación busca dar conectividad a los peatones, usuarios del metro y autobús, así como responder al importante número de oficinas que existen Con un recibidor con una doble altura y a un costado el estacionamiento de sistema hidráulico forman la base de dos volúmenes donde se ubican los departamentos que cuentan con 3 áreas comunes ubicadas en la parte más alta del edificio, así como en el 3er nivel se transforma el espacio en planta para convertirse en oficinas.

Edificio Fundidora Fundidora Building is a project located in Downtown Monterrey, near the Fundidora park, where lately the government has change the conditions of the zone in order to rescue it from turning into a ghost city. Leaving this to more flexible rules as well as facilities that would give opportunity for new projects to develop and bring life again. The building without being massive, seeks to turn into and Icon and a turning point for the next buildings. With great influence of the architecture by Mies Van der Rohe, the building seeks to take elements from the past of the city of Monterrey. As well as old elements and buildings from the city that gave the identity to it. The building also tries to take advantage from its locations, giving response not only to the car, but also to the users of metro, bus and the ones who walk, this would be possible due to the enormous amount of offices that are in the zone. With a double height lobby, a hydraulic parking place, give a platform to the two volumes that conform the apartments, they have 3 community areas located in the highest part f the building as well as a space for an office in the 3rd level.

Ubicado en dentro de la zona del 22@, en la ciudad de Barcelona, y con un contexto altamente industrial además de tener que representar a una de las culturas más orgullosas de sí mismas no fue tarea fácil, por lo que el Centro Cultural Catalán busca no solo integrarse al contexto si no dar un sentido más profundo al edificio, separando el programa en tres edificios, uno de salones multiusos en una restaurada fabrica, el segundo que albergaría al gimnasio y un área para practicar tanto los billets catalanes como los castelles y finalmente dos edificios unidos por un atrio donde se encuentra un museo y una biblioteca.

Located at the 22@ district of Barcelona city, with a really rich context as well as industrial, the challenge to represent one of the most proud cultures was not an easy task, which is why the Catalan Cultural Center doesn´t look only to integrate itself in the context, but to give more of a deep meaning to these building. Separating the program in three main buildings, one of mix use class rooms in the part of the factory which would be restored, the second is the gymnasium that would have the capacity to practice the Catalan Billets as well as the Castelles, finally two buildings joined by an atrium where the museum and the library is held.

Con grandes influencias en el brutalismo de Kahn y de Salmona además de la propia ciudad y su espacio público, se acomodan las piezas del Centro Comunitario Catalán para dar espacio a una plaza pública al centro de una de las manzanas que aún se mantienen como Cerda las propuso 100x100m (o como nos enseñaron en el mismo curso 113x113m), esta plaza busca convertirse en el corazón del proyecto y ser el detonador y punto de encuentro para que este centro sea una atracción más para esta importante ciudad.

With great influence over by the brutalism of Kahn and Salmona, as well as the city and its public space, the pieces are accommodated to give an internal public plaza within the bloc that keeps on the measures given by Cerda 100x100m (or like we were thought in the course 113x113m). This plaza seeks to become the heart of the project and become the motivator to become a meeting point and a new attraction to this important city.

El edificio Memorias busca ser una nueva manera de ver las cosas, un edificio de usos mixto para la zona regenerada de San Jerónimo donde en clase se propone un nuevo plan maestro dan lugar a un nuevo centro marcado ya por un importante punto de convergencia, donde la principal característica es la falta de espacio público.

The Memorias Building is a new way of looking things, a mix type building for a new zone in the area of San Jeronimo, where the class proposed a new master plan for the regeneration of it, thanks to the converging nodes that created a city center but also having as one of the main concerns the lack of public space and identity.

Es en búsqueda de este espacio que nace su forma, en donde la huella en lugar de seguir forzosamente el perímetro de la calle, busca meterse lo más posible para dar una plaza al lugar además de tener un paisaje donde se integra a los mismos ejes estructurales, dialogando el edificio y el espacio público de manera total.

In the pursuit of the public space is where the main form is given, going back all the way to the perimeter of the terrain, seeking to give place to a public plaza, where the landscape given by the structural axis reflect a proper dialogue with the building.

Sus ejes los da el terreno y basado en ideas de Le Corbusier da paso a un módulo donde se reinterpreta la clásica Unite d’habitación alterando este módulo que busca transformarse de acuerdo a diferentes necesidades, tratando de imitar la imagen de los cerros y sus casitas, dando así una forma más orgánica en donde la imagen de muchas ciudades mexicanas se reinterpreta para dar paso a un sinfín de emociones provocado por las sombras y los balcones de cada departamento. El programa también responde a 2 oficinas y 6 locales comerciales, el edificio Memorias es en su totalidad un proyecto tanto urbano, como arquitectónico y paisajista, reuniendo las cualidades de una buena arquitectura.

The axis of the project are given by the terrain, based on the ideas of Le Corbusier, where a Module its created reinterpreting the classic Unite d’habitacion, transforming them according to the necessities and trying to imitate the image of many Mexican cities, giving path to a very emotional building crafted by the light and shadows given by its axis and balconies in each apartment. The program also has 2 office modules, as well as 6 modules for commerce, the Memorias building is a way of exploring all of what architecture has given us, having a great urbanism, landscape, design and structure.

PROPUESTA

PROPOSAL

A partir de un análisis de sitio, donde se vieron los puntos ya antes mencionados se llego a la conclusión de que la propuesta para los Condominios debe de ser un programa de usos múltiples que involucre al proyecto con la ciudad, uniendo así a los Condominios Constitución con los elementos mas cercanos del centro (Macro Plaza, Paseo Santa Lucia y Parque Lineal) a partir de los ejes que se forman por la traza urbana, dando espacio a nuevas plazas dentro de la propuesta de los Condominios Constitución y un nuevo eje rector en el proyecto que da así mas transparencia al proyecto y un mejor ordenamiento.

From an analysis of site, form the points already mentioned above came to the conclusion that the proposed constitution Condominiums must be a multiple use program that involves the project with the city, and uniting the condominiums constitution with the elements near in downtown (Macroplaza, Paseo Santa Lucia and Linear Park) from the axis formed by the urban traze, making room for new positions within the condominiums and a new guiding axis in the project which gives more transparency and a better management to the project.

Este espacio de usos mixtos busca lograr lugares que promuevan la convivencia entre los colonos así como nuevos puntos dentro de la mancha urbana del centro de Monterrey, plazas que den más vida al lugar. De igual manera se busca que se forme una nueva administración para los Condominios Constitución que se mantenga a partir del pago de mantenimiento que aportaran los comercios, oficinas y hoteles, y de esta manera reducir el mantenimiento a los condóminos. La propuesta New Axis City busca integrar al proyecto con la ciudad, uniendo los circuitos existentes de Macro Plaza, Paseo Santa Lucia y Parque Lineal. Los cuales no tenían un punto de convergencia, esto sirvió como base para poder plantear los ejes y unión dentro del objeto de estudio, creando así un espacio que logra unir puntos clave del centro de Monterrey y hacer un proyecto más consiente de su entorno. Por otro lado las alturas que se proponen se dieron gracias al soleamiento, vientos dominantes pero de igual manera a las vistas que hay hacia iconos emblemáticos de la ciudad, como lo son el Cerro de la Silla, el de Las Águilas, Cerro de las Mitras, el Faro del Comercio, Santa Lucia, la Macro Plaza, entre otros. Los nuevos edificios serán súper puestos a los ya existentes, los cuales serán respetados en su totalidad (fachadas), solo se harán las ventanas de piso a techo. Las nuevas estructuras se soportaran por un lado de una torre donde van los servicios y por otro en unas estructuras que están alineadas por fuera de las ya existentes para poder cargar el peso de las nuevas. Además de terrazas verdes entre los edificios existentes y los nuevos para dar espacios de convivencia mas privados a los condóminos, proponiendo entonces a excepción de dos plazas, áreas públicas y semi privadas en la planta baja y áreas privadas en la parte alta. También se agregan 3 estacionamientos subterráneos. Por ultimo se propone un hotel que busca atraer a gente de otros lados y de igual manera cubrir la demanda que se generara en el sitio por las oficinas que se coloquen en el lugar al traer a ejecutivos y clientes de otros lados.

This area seeks to achieve mixed use sites that promote coexistence between the settlers as well as new points within the urban center of monterrey, places that give more life to the place. And to form a new administration for the condominiums constitution, to be maintained after the payment of maintenance that contribute the shops, offices and hotels and to reduce maintenance to condominiums. The New Axis City proposal seeks to integrate the project with the city, joining the existing circuits of Macro Plaza, Paseo Santa Lucia and lienal Park, which they did not have a point of convergence, this served as a base to raise the axes and union within the object of study, creating a space that manages to unite key points from downtown Monterrey and make a project more aware of their surroundings. Moreover the proposed heights were due to solar radiation, prevailing winds but equally to the view that there is to icons emblematic of the city, as are the Hill Cerro de la Silla, Las Aguilas and Mitras, the Faro del Comercio, Santa Lucia, the macro plaza, among others. The new buildings will be superposed to the existing ones, which will be respected in full (facades), and only will change intoo floor to ceiling windows. One side of a tower that hosts the services of the buildings supports the new structures, and for the structures that are lined up outside the existing ones weight load to the new ones. Besides green terraces between the new and existing buildings to provide more private living spaces to condominiums, then except for two plazas, the project is proposing semi-private and public areas on the ground floor and private areas at the top. Also adds 3 underground parking. Finally we propose a hotel which aims to attract people from other places and likewise cover the demand generated on the site by the offices that put in place to bring executives and customers elsewhere.

Así pues nuestra propuesta para la EAAD (Escuela de Arquitectura Arte y Diseño) no solo busca transmitir emociones y sentimientos en sus formas que de manera ordenada provocan espacios que envuelvan tanto a los estudiantes y profesores en un vaivén de sensaciones que lleven a la identidad del edificio. Que con sus fachadas y patios logren invitar a que se involucre a una ciudad que ha olvidado la importancia de la cultura. Un edificio que se viva de manera interna y externa, que logre con el ejemplo promover la identidad de la escuela.

That is why our proposal for the EAAD (For its initials in Spanish for school of architecture, arts and design) doesn’t only looks to transmit emotions and feelings whit in its rational and logic forms that give away an explosion of sensations that give the identity to this building. Each of its façades and patios manage to involve a city that has forgotten the importance of living an culture, a building that can be lived in the inside as well as the outside to promote the identity of the school.

La propuesta está hecha en base a los ejes y recorridos diarios de los estudiantes del Tec, decidimos emplazar el edificio frente a Aulas III y sobre la cafetería El borrego, conquistando el ya exitoso espacio de la cafetería, para de esta manera volver a insertar dentro del campus a las 3 carreras. Esto con el fin de que no solo se involucre más a la EAAD de manera interna, si no que se comparta lo que ahí se enseña con los demás estudiantes del Tec, fomentar la cultura de las bellas artes y la buena arquitectura entre los estudiantes y demás miembros del campus y el sistema Tec. El impacto de este emplazamiento no solo beneficia a la integración de las tres carreras, si no que involucra de una manera más activa a las otras, promoviendo lo que se haga en la EAAD y así lograr identidad por lo que aquí se haga, no solo en la escuela, si no en la ciudad.

The proposal is made from the axis that the school has, where we decided to emplace the building in front of aulas III, an on top of the cafeteria “El Borrego”, conquering this already successful space in order to insert the three schools within the campus. This in order to involve more the students of all the campus, and promote the culture of the beaux arts and architecture within the students as well as the other members of the campus at ITESM, the impact that this location gives us is not only for the integration of this three schools but to promote all of what is done on the EAAD in to the school and the city.

De manera interna se busca fomentar la integración del las tres carreras, uniendo los 3 talleres y volviéndolos el corazón del proyecto, donde las 3 secciones del edificio son unidas en todos los niveles por puentes que se ordenan en un eje lineal y son separados solo por espacios que esconden jardines y que lleven al espectador a un recorrido de sorpresas donde la luz es protagonista. El edificio se desenvuelve justo en el eje que existe en el borrego, donde articula al tercer nivel una biblioteca especializada y lleva a diferentes puntos de encuentro, esto para lograr eventos que promuevan la convivencia de los usuarios. Brazos que ramifican el programa de las tres carreras en un edificio y que culminan en patios internos. Todo el edificio esta techado por una cubierta semisólida y en la parte baja se desenvuelve sobre un patio será donde se integrara a la escuela en general.

In an internal way the main concern is to foment the integration of the three schools by joining the workshops and turning this into the heart of the project, where the three schools are then joined in all levels by bridges in a lineal axis and are separated by voids that have gardens and that would take the user to a walkthrough of surprises given by the main character: light. The building evolves into the axis that already exists in the cafeteria, and articulates in the third level by the specialized library, that takes you whit in different points of the building to promote all of the users communication among them. The arms that appear complete the program of the three schools in one building, that is covered by a light cover that embraces the building an leaves the patio where all of the school integrates.

El patio se une a un Auditorio que busca cumplir con la obligada exposición de las ideas que se generan en la EAAD, y ahí mismo al tener una planta libre generar lugares para la exposición de los trabajos ahí realizados. Fomentando calidad y esta vez no solo identidad hacia el edificio si no también a lo que la EAAD y sus alumnos hacen.

The patio has an auditorium that looks the obligated expositions of the ideas that would be generated at the EAAD, as well as having a free floor plant that could create a galleria for the exposition of all of the works by the students.

En conclusión, el nuevo edificio para la EAAD busca cumplir con el programa de las tres carreras en un solo lugar dando continuidad al lenguaje arquitectónico del Tec sin extender más la huella del campus. Beneficiar a las demás carreras y al campus en general. Creando un edificio verde y sustentable con espacios adaptables y que cumpla con los requerimientos de las 3 carreras. Crear un espacio de cultura y aprendizaje, un edificio que de identidad a la EAAD y la coloque como una de las escuelas más importantes para el desarrollo de estas tres carreras.

In conclusion the new building for the EAAD seeks to complete the program of the three schools in one place, giving continuity to the context that the school already has, without having to expand the campus. Giving many benefits to all of the school an creating a more sustainable building with flexible spaces that manage to create a space of culture and learning, a building that could represent the EAAD an positions it as one of the more important schools for the development of these carrers.

Pabellon + Primer Lugar First Place Concurso Contest Espacio Ambulante del séptimo foro de Arquitectura 2010 Equipo Team Mariandy Lugo David Martínez Giovanni Llamas El Pabellon +, pretende crear un espacio público en base a un claustro abatible cuya estructura permita crea diferentes ambientes y usarlo para diferentes funciones. Su estructura Consiste en dos columnas unidas con bisagras para dar posibilidad a cambiar alturas y un mecanismo estilo persianas para las escaleras/puentes dando la posibilidad de crear cubiertas, rampas, escaleras o pergolados.

The Pabellon +, pretends to create a public space based on an atrium that is generated by this pavilion that can be accommodated in different ways, so that the function may change according to the needs. The structure consists in two columns joined by hinges, this mechanism gives the possibilities to change the height of the stairs/bridge, and make either covers, ramps, stairs or pergola.

El Pabellon +, Es un mobiliario urbano que tiene la intensión de regenerar la inteaccion social a nivel urbano y crear una identidad al lugar.
