From the pages of this issue you will discover about new achievements and victories of people working in our company. This issue will also tell you in what way an amazing trip can be an award for hard work; and colourful presentation — a joy for children. “Golden Globe” is conquered Victory is born in the offices but it is achieved by people who work at service stations and showrooms.

In the previous “Gals Inform” issue we highlighted the first winner of “Golden Globe” competition. This fight for the superiority came to its end and Toyota Center “Avtogals” took the leadership race and won the challenge cup this time. We were sure that director of “Avtogals” Denys Chebanov knew the secrets of victory and we asked him to share these secrets. “People, first of all, should long for victory. We were very disappointed when we missed “Golden Globe” in the first quarter, although, we believed in victory. In the second quarter we mobilized our energy and took the main prize. People are to know that they are the best. Vic-

tory itself, confirms the feeling of leadership. And people feel proud, that is quite normal. Sales manager Elena Savenkova commented: “The most important thing is that victory is born not in the offices but at service stations and showrooms.” We totally agree with that. So, now let us talk to people themselves. Sales consultant Alexander Prokopenko: “Each day I see “Golden Globe” award — I feel we belong to leadership.”


Sales consultant Sergey Shysh: “Golden Globe award reminds us that we are the best. And the company we are working at is also the best one. But still there is one thing I would like to change — Mondays` inspections. It is not because people think that Monday is a hard day itself, but because we completely have no time to buy latest press for our customers. And it could be good to be informed beforehand about the expert’s visit. (Laughing) Seriously speaking, Golden Globe award did not make our work complicated as some people think but just made working process more disciplined. Is it bad? ” Service station employee Alexander Boyko: “Golden Globe” added discipline to working process, foremen became stricter. It is also very pleasant to mention at home that my Company became a winner; my family feels glad for me. Toyota Center Donetsk “Avtogals” celebrated this occasion at the active rest center “Poligon”. People could have a ride at four wheeler bikes, take part in humour contests. The most interesting part of the holiday was a paintball championship. The day spent at the active rest center was tense but interesting, people were divided into teams, had fun and joy. At the

end all the participants felt tired but happy. They went home full of emotions and impressions. Camp kulesh, roasted sausages, sandwiches, mulled wine those were the treats of the day. “Avtogals” even here at the rest center won all the tournaments. We congratulate “Avtogals” for winning “Golden Globe” in the second quarter. We are happy that company’s people have so much energy and desire to win. We also hope that tradition to celebrate Company’s victories will remain and be followed.

“Lexus Open” — tennis amateurs It was quite recently that “DonLex” Company was awarded a title of the most active advertiser of tennis club “VicCourt”. This year 23rd-25th September official Lexus in eastern region of Ukraine with the support of “VicCourt” club and Donetsk Association of tennis amateurs became the organizer of “Lexus Open” event. We have to say that “DonLex” Company supports healthy way of life and encourages events aimed to promote healthy and active life style and especially when we speak about education and strengthen the popularity of sport with young generation. Tennis amateurs came to take part in competition from different regions of eastern Ukraine. The tournament was held from morning till late evening. Tennis couples were developing optimal strategies and styles; physical fatigue was not even noticed. Sportsmen were so much captured by game that it was hard to say that amateurs played. The emotional

intensity was not for amateurs. The days of tennis competition let to define the winner. The main prize — stylish Lexus watch was awarded to winner couple from Donetsk Valery Goncharov and Sergey Chelombytko. Other interesting prizes from Lexus were given to Denys Vykhrystyuk from Donetsk and Dmytry Afynyn from Lugansk for the second place. The third place was taken by couple Sergey Pavlenko and Alexander Tubolev from Donetsk — they were awarded with stylish Lexus caps and t-shirts. Amoung women the best were Julia Muzykantova from Donetsk, who took the first place, Inna Nikolaychuk from Mariupol and Irina Pogorelova from Artemovsk who took the second and the third places correspondently. The awarding was held at the pleasant atmosphere of Lobby Bar of Hotel “Victoria”, where tennis players could enjoy different delights. Commercial director of “DonLex” Company Sergey Divak handed prizes to their rightful owners. He congratulated the leaders of competitions and wished everyone new victories in next tennis tournaments of “Lexus Open”.

Contest

The height of professional Toyota skills was taken by our technicians The second annual Toyota National Skills Contest was held 23rd September in Kiev. It was organized by CFI “Toyota Ukraine” — the official importer of Toyota and Lexus in Ukraine. The first contest was held 25 September 2010 and at that

— I was expecting the Contest for the whole year that is why it was a real event for me. time it was quite clear that participants are to get ready and possess serious knowledge for the contest. This year 24 mechanics and 12 service consultants were competing for the title of “professional”. Those people were the best in their dealership centers of Toyota and Lexus. We want to emphasize that mechanics from “Gals Motors” Company were competing as well and two of them had taken prize places.

The first place had taken Andrey Taranov (Toyota Center Sevastopol “Omega Motors”). Andrey won the main prize — 30 thousand hryvnas and a trip to Japan with the possibility to visit museums and factories of “Toyota Motor Corporation”. The second place with 20 thousand hryvnas had taken Alexander Boyko (Toyota Center Donetsk “Avtogals”). The tasks of the contest were to demonstrate knowledge in the key aspects of technical work, theoretical tasks, understanding the principles of work of main car systems, and tasks to check practical skills. Srevice consultants in their turn, had to demonstrate skills of communication with customers at every stage. Among 12 best consultants there was Sergey Shchetinin from (Toyota Center Lugansk “Autowind”). Just a little factor (the initiative to sell accessories) prevented our


participant from taking the prize place. Next year we expect Sergey to get the victory. We asked participants a few questions about the Contest. Alexander Boyko: — It was the first time I participated in this Contest. It was quite difficult and tense. Talking about the jury, — all the participants were in equal conditions. One of the strong sides of the contest was theoretical tasks. From the words of other contestants I can say that level of the competition is growing each year and juries are stricter. Next year I plan to take part in the Contest again and take the first place. I understand that I have to work harder but it just confirms my desire to win. Talking about the prize of 20 thousand hryvans it was quite to the purpose, we used it for our house repairing. We asked Andrey Taranov a couple of questions as well. — Andrey, what was your impression from the Contest?

— I was expecting it for the whole year that is why it was a real event for me. I am thankful for the organizers for such a Contest. It was the second time for me. But each time I am here, I feel the unity of Toyota family, and proudness that I work in such Company. — What was the motivation to reach such high results? — Experience is of great importance here. And one has to dedicate himself totally to work to become real professional. It is hard of course, but I was inspired by the Contest of 2010. It gave me the motive of universal Toyota mechanics and desire to win the first place for our dealership center, and it was a great motivation to work hard and get ready for the Contest of 2011. A great support I received from my colleagues. I am very thankful to them. I also feel pleased that common target of our Company “To reach perfection” gave such a bright result. — How did you get ready for the Contest 2011? — Each day of my work I dedicated to improving my knowledge and doing complicated repairs. Each time trying to find a reason of car breakage I learn mod-

ern systems deeper, and regularly refer to technical support and training program of Toyota. Also I want to highlight that LMS training program is very effective to get ready for the Contest successfully. — According to the rules, you will not take part in the Contest next year, but what would you recommend to the participant in 2012? — I would wish that the Challenge Cup stay in “Gals Motors” Company. Different factors influence the victory, but what is really important — it is to follow Toyota standards, know theoretical part and have a desire to become the best. I am sure each of us has a chance to win the Contest, it needs just a little of efforts. So, the second National Toyota Skill Contest had finished. Toyota Center “Omega Motors” had marked Audrey’s victory in a bowling center. All the participants started to get ready for the next year competition. We can not say who would become the winner, but we are absolutely sure that Audrey’s experience and his desire to win would give its result. And we hope that next autumn one of our dealership centers will mark the victory in the National Toyota Skills Contest in Ukraine again.

Company`s stylish superiority The beauty of a car is formed not only by colour and fineness but also by many other details making a car expressive and original one. Nowadays, there is so to say an empire in a world of auto industry, specializing in creating a stylish image of a serial car. Such names as Brabus or AMG are known to many. JAOS Company is a representative of tuning industry in Toyota network.

It allows us to diversify image of a car, add some chic and charm according to customer’s desires. It is true that to sell a unique car can be called an art. A total devotion to our brand became a basis of


developing of such art for us. With the third quarter a new project “Toyota Style” was launched in a group of our companies. This award would be given to dealership center that could create more stylish and beautiful cars than other centers. The first winner was Toyota Center Donetsk “Avtogals”. The company got bonus for a corporate holiday and an original present — handmade car with ceramic, coloured glass and precious metals. The image of the created car emphasized a constant movement and aspiration to perfection. As a result we could observe not just a car but a masterpiece. This stylish present had become the center of everyone’s attention at once. Of course it had found

its special place in the showroom. Guests and customers were showing a vivid interest and making pictures of it. This nomination would be given once in a quarter and every time an exclusive

We have annual results ahead of us, so then we discover the next holder of the “Toyota Style 2011” award. But for now we wish success and many creative ideas to the participants.

A dream city Barcelona A journey became a deserved reward for the victory in a contest. In May 2011 Toyota Ukraine announced a contest in sales of engine, gearbox and fuel tank under cover. The competition was an international one; dealership centers from Ukraine, Russia and Moldova were competing. Ukraine took three prize places. We are happy to mention that the second place was taken by our sales consultant from “DonLex” Kate Burova. The first place won Toyota dealer from Kiev and the third one — Lexus Dnepropetrovsk. We decided to ask Kate about her journey. We met Kate, beautiful and smiling lady, very positive and energetic, and she agreed to share her journey impressions with us.

— Kate, please, tell us, if anything had changed in your work when you discovered about the contest? — Our Company’s philosophy — is to be the best in everything. My attitude to the contest was the same. — Did you have a feeling that you could win? — Honestly, I was not thinking about that. I was just doing my work. I was working for the whole summer and did not even have an idea that I could be in the number of leaders. — What was your reaction when you came to know that you had taken the prize place? — Well, my reaction was quite normal for such situation — of course I did not believe! I thought my director was joking. My doubts vanished when I had received

a request for documents for the trip. My victory was a surprise for me. At that moment I felt fantastic, I was happy and full of emotions. — Kate, many people dream to visit Barcelona. Did you like your journey? — Yes, Barcelona is a dream city. I was there for the first time. It was a little sad, we did not see everything we wanted because we were short of time and had tense program. But I can surely say that Barcelona is a fantastic city.

— What was the program of the journey? — First we arrived to St. Petersburg; there we visited a factory of under covers. It was interesting to watch how things we sell are being produced. From north capi-

Streets and city quarters were spread before our eyes. Spanish cuisine is something absolutely unforgettable. I enjoyed it a lot, especially seafood.

As I love traveling, I can say that journey to Barcelona was a realization of one of my dreams. Next day we visited a park of the most famous architect — Antony Gaudi. Well,

The third day was final. It was useful in terms of sharing experience. We had a chance to visit Toyota and Lexus dealers of Barcelona. You know, due to single corporate style we had a feeling as if we were at home. But still comparing to Ukraine we could feel the difference in preferences of car choice of Spanish people. Hybrid cars are respected a lot. It is not just because of economical fuel con-

sumption but also there are tax benefits for such cars. Spanish people like hatchback cars for their convenience in parking. You know having very narrow streets it is of a big importance. Time of delivery is amazingly short. But there is a simple reason for that — geographical position of Barcelona.

What would you wish to your colleagues? — I wish my colleagues successful sales, self-belief, and of course maximum efforts to reach high results. Has your dream come true? — As I love traveling, I can say that journey to Barcelona was a realization of one of my dreams. — What are your plans for the future now? — Recently a new project was launched in the group of our Companies — “Best sales consultant”, the winner will be award-

Big holiday of Toyota Camry Guests of dealership centers of Donetsk, Lugansk and Crimea were a part of a grand show. New image of Toyota Camry has been discussed in internet long time before the official launch. Different ideas and concept projects were offered for discussion. Nevertheless dates of official presentation of Toyota Camry in Ukraine were known just at the end of autumn. At the stage of preparation we already knew that the show itself had to be grand and pompous. Toyota Camry presentation in “Avtogals”. At the beginning of the show young artists sketched main lines of a new car. Famous TV presenter Stepan Mikhailov conducted a charity auction where those sketches were sold to guests.

Showroom guests could talk to each other, share their impressions from New Camry, and have wonderful time. Money from the auction was given to Donetsk orphan home № 1. Except the sketches our guests also could buy winter tires, innovational security system, GPS navigation and exclusive bottle of champaign offered by partners of our company. This little help

from the charity auction helped the orphan house to buy necessary household units. The party continued, the intrigue was growing, guests were expecting the main event — new Toyota Camry of the 7th generation. So, it was time for the event… lights went out and 3D-show has started. The car was covered by blanket and projector lights displayed there all the history of Camry and people whose life was closely connected with the creation of the model. Bright special effects were really amazing. At last the moment to demonstrate New Camry had come. Lights went on, people came closer, and according to guests` reaction we could say that 7th Camry generation was ab-


solutely impressive. New level of technologies and comfort could not leave our guests indifferent. Also our guests were offered delights, soft music and comfortable atmosphere. Toyota Camry presentation in Lugansk. Guests of Lugansk dealer were nor less intrigued. In spite of common ideas in presentation show, there still were original moments. Children from boarding school of family type came to the presentation show with their parents. Again there was a charity auction and collected money was given for the needs of that school. Director of Toyota Center Lugansk “Autowind” Andrey Romantsov spoke to guests; he expressed the words of gratitude and hope for the future cooperation. Bright 3D show was a culmination part of the event. When New Camry moved to the center of showroom it was almost impossible to come closer as it was already surrounded by interested people. And it did not surprise us at all — 7th Camry generation was met with great interest. Next stop was Crimea peninsular. Toyota Camry presentation was held in Simferopol and Sevastopol. Toyota Center Sevastopol “Omega Motors” made a real holiday for the

guests. People could observe all Camry generations alive. History of the model, evolution of development, changes in style and design, technical progress — all could be seen in represented models. But it was not a single surprise from “Omega Motors”. Also, after car was officially shown to guests, it was available for test drive. When Sevastopol presentation was coming to its end, in Simferopol it was just a beginning. “Delta Motors Crimea” was just meeting guests. Representatives of many important

companies of peninsular were there, even people from Cabinet of Ministers. The minister of transport of Crimea made a public speech and wished all the best for Simferopol Toyota dealer. Again there was a charity auction, all collected funds, as in other centers, were sent for the needs of republic children cancer center. The official part was ended with a bright 3D show, and New Toyota Camry moved to people.

We have to note, that even the main idea of Toyota Camry official presentation in all Toyota centers was the same in style, anyway there was an atmosphere of comfort and kindness. Showroom guests could talk to each other, share their impressions from New Camry, and have wonderful time.

Wise men tales

Victory is not an award — it is a lesson to learn One famous teacher of marital arts had a couple of students. One of them was totally diligent and hard-working. Teacher showed his best student everything he knew and soon it was time to participate in a big tournament. That student was the best one; no one could compete with him. Young fighter was very proud of himself and was boasting by his victory. During his next trainings young student paid little attentions to the words of his master, and told more stories about his victory. The day of next tournament came, but to the public surprise the best student was defeated this time. Young man was sad and disappointed. He asked his master: — How did it happen, Master? I was learning marital arts for so many years, I was your best student, and I won the first tournament. But today, all my skills were in vain. — Exactly, — master said. — You were perfect in marital arts, and in your first fight you proved that you know a lot. But first easy victory made you too proud, and weakened your attention and concentration. Just yesterday you were sure that victory could be won easily, it made you disarmed today. At the same time pride of your competitors was bitten and it gave them more energy to train harder. Winning first victory we have to remember that next victory will be earned with more pains, the next one — will take maximum efforts. Just moving from one step to another, taking victory as a good lesson we can bare a title of the best and reach perfection in everything.
