As I became more familiar with the architecture and interior design, I gradually shifted from an interest in spatial configurations, light and shadow relationships, and three-dimensional compositions to a fascination with narrative and interaction.
Hayden White believes "Narrative discourse is not a neutral medium for the representation of historical events and processes but a significant mode that endows those events and processes with plot, coherence, and meaning." In other words, the processes of narrative are a series of subjective simulation which is full of individual experiential judgment and structural control. The mechanics of narrative provide an exciting way for me to think differently about different projects. Further attention to the user of the space and the exploration of new interaction techniques has given me the constant opportunity to experiment with different perspectives and interactive experiences to enhance my thinking about meaning construction and design methods.
Besides architecture and interiors, practice through many other different mediums, including film, comic strips, graphic design, fine art, and interaction design. The forms of expression may differ, but the inner core is all based on narrative development and reflection.

A physical social platform for bartering
Time: Oct 2020 - Jun 2021
Location: London, UK
Design Concept
Based on the analysis of excessive consumption and its complex reasons. I put forward a proposal to let idle items regain their value, while at the same time reconnecting people after the pandemic.
I hope that by designing a physical social platform, this is a place where people can barter for idle items. And redefine the boundary of exchange through the participation process of five sense experience.
The proposal is an attempt to explore an alternative way to meet people's consumption desires and social needs. Reimagine the possibilities of future department stores. It is also a reflection on today's over-consumption society.

Current Issues and Development Process
Recent changes to the app interface on online social platforms further facilitated the ability for users to directly find links to products and ways to them.
This epitomises the current consumer experience
On this issue one can return to the theory put forward by Freud and the market's strategy for the human desire to buy.

The ubiquitous billboards and the pitfalls of consumerism have created an endless desire to consume. But according to relevant studies, once people's needs are met, extra consumption does not contribute to our well-being. With this in mind have created the city fragment in which this project is located. I have selected four major cities whose architectural façades and streets form the most representative consumption atmosphere.

The chosen site is an abandoned Victorian building in East London, which previously served as an activity and social space for the local community. I hope to bring it back to life.

Multiple balanced pulley systems constantly keep the building's interior spaces functioning. Within the different trading areas, users can interact with them and change the configuration of the space.
This drawing reveals a halved section of the interior space, in its entirety, a significant display system and vertical circulation spaces.

When he was standing in the entrance he saw, heard and smelled it. A man in one of them kept stepping on the rubber ball with his foot and the scent came out of a glass tube on the table and many people came over to smell what it was. He was very curious and walked in.

Many customers were gathered in the backyard, where they were conversing about how easily the mechanism for hanging clothes had just been activated by a child.

Healthy vinyl Design Concept
This is the studio project, based on the existing situation of the site and guided by the requirements of the project proposal. Due to in-depth city research, objects with potential are explored as the core of the whole design.
The existing site is also used and adapted in a rational way, thus further bringing new vitality to the local community. The final hope is to discover existing buildings' potential by selling “healthy vinyl” made from recyclable plastics.

The building has a recording studio that attracts musicians from all over the world to make recyclable plastic records.
Staff can make plastic records inside the building, and they can also teach consumers how to make plastic records.
Consumers can experience new ways to select records in the building. And they can share and enjoy the plastic records.

Reverse symbiosis
Time: Oct 2018 - Jun 2019
Location: Macau, China
Design Concept
This project is a reverse thinking approach to discovering typhoons' advantages and transforming typhoons' wind and precipitation into a resource for daily human consumption in an experimental and sustainable gesture to seek a reverse symbiotic human lifestyle for the future.
In response to the demographic characteristics of Macau, a balanced living model between users and building systems is explored. The interior of the building is a systematic, integrated and assembled new ecological living model for the migrating young and middle-aged population. The rotatable sections within each living space maximise the use of multiple 'facades'. In addition to the private spaces, the public areas of the building are used as shared spaces for individual use at different times of the day.
Commercial/entertainment Residential Public Office
Typhoons are known to cause enormous damage to human life and property. It can be considered one of the world's worst natural disasters, and due to the deterioration of living conditions nowadays, there is reason to believe that, like most extreme weather, typhoons will become more and more frequent. Macau is in a very special location, and its high population density makes it a distinct area for research and design.
In the face of typhoons, how can we use the vast amounts of wind energy they bring and minimise the damage they cause?
The residential buildings around the site are predominantly multi-roomed commercial properties with rents ranging from 15,000 to 40,000, which do not match the needs of the single people who make up the majority of the working population around the site. There is a shortage of single person flats.
The high per capita GDP of Macau is currently attracting many striving young singles from the mainland, who are now coming to Macau in search of work, earning higher incomes than on the mainland, while at the same time being burdened with high consumption, high rent, living costs, transport costs and other expenses, designed to focus on this group of young people.

The daily energy users use inside the building comes from clean, renewable energy such as wind and solar. And part of the essential water in everyday life can be obtained from precipitation, and recycled, to maximize the value of water resources. Daily garbage generated in life can also be collected and processed uniformly. It can reflect the ecological nature of the building, not only to meet the growing density of the population in the city but also to embrace the earth's ecological environment.
