The engagement of Erin Dommer and Chris Walbrun is announced. Erin is the daughter of Douglas Dommer of Oshkosh and Mary Fahley of Milwaukee. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and is employed at St. Anthony School, Loyal. Chris is the son of Bruce and Dorothy Walbrun of Menasha. A June 4, 2011, wedding is planned.

The engagement of Sara Sazama and Craig Yessa is announced. Sara is the daughter of Darnell and Doreen Sazama of Athens. She is a 2004 graduate of Abbotsford High School and 2008 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She is employed by Roehl Transport Inc. Craig is the son of William and Mary Yessa of Edgar. He is a 2004 graduate of Athens High School and is employed by Hoffman Construction Company. A Sept. 10, 2011, wedding is planned.

She is a 2007 graduate of Marshfield High School and will graduate in May from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. Scott is the son of Todd and Jacqueline Zieglmeier of Marshfield. He is a 2007 graduate of Marshfield High School and will graduate in May from UW-Eau Claire. They are both employed at Ministry Saint Joseph’s Hospital. An Aug. 27, 2011, wedding is planned.

Darin is the son of Jeff and Carla Borchardt of Wausau. He is a graduate of D.C. Everst, Wausau. He is currently serving in the U.S. Navy.

John and Judy Damrau 50th Wedding Anniversary August 27, 2010 John and Judy Damrau of Marshfield celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary on August 29th, with a noon dinner at their home with family and friends.

Mark and Karen Ott of Marshfield, WI are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Jessica Ott to Eric Miller, son of Mark and Laurie Miller from Waukesha, WI.

John of Tigerton, Wisconsin, and the former Judy Hanson of Fennimore, Wisconsin, were married August 27th at Castle Rock Lutheran Church in Fennimore, Wisconsin.

The bride-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Marshfield High School. Jessica graduated in 2010 and received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education with a minor in English as a Second Language from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. Jessica is currently working at the Marshfield Middle School as an Intervention Specialist.

Their family includes: Karen and Mark Ott and their children Jessica and Brian; Jeff and Gina (Seehafer) Damrau and their daughters, Jena and Elizabeth; and Douglas and Kris (Reineke) and their son Michael. John graduated from Madison Business College and was employed by Hawkins, Ash-Baptie and deBoer Transportation. Judy graduated from Platteville State University and was a teacher in Spencer and Marshfield School Districts.

The groom-to-be is a 2006 graduate of Waukesha South High School. Eric also graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. He is currently employed at Roehl Transport in Marshfield.

John and Judy are members of Christ Lutheran Church. They enjoy spending time with family, traveling and attending sporting events.

Mark and Kelly Schmitz of Spencer announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Nicole Schmitz, to Austen Jay Stump, son of Jay and Lona Stump of Willard. Stephanie is a 2007 graduate of Loyal High School and 2010 graduate of MidState Technical College. She is employed at Marshfield Clinic. Austen is a 2006 graduate of Greenwood High School. He is employed by Edward’s Electric in Thorp. A Sept. 24, 2011, wedding is planned.

David Nicole Jeske Nicole Danczak and David Jeske were united in marriage on June 26, 2010 at Our Lady of Peace in Marshfield. Father Don Meuret performed the ceremony. A reception was held at the Marshfield Eagle’s Club. Nicole is the daughter of Rose Ann and Robert Danczak of Marshfield. David is the son of Michael and Karen Jeske of Auburndale. Matron of honor was Melissa Schlafke. Bridesmaids were Janet Jeske, Jennifer LaPointe, Carolyn Jeske, and Brenda Jeske. Flower girls were Hope Wadzinski and Hannah LaPointe. Best man was Michael Krueger. Groomsmen were Ryan Danczak, Mark LaPointe, Austin Gilbert and Adam Schlafke. The bride is a graduate of UW Eau Claire and she is currently employed by Wipfli. The groom is a senior at UW Eau Claire majoring in Finance. He is currently employed at Job Center of Eau Claire. The couple took a honeymoon to Pocono Mountains in PA. Lee and Chanda Petkovsek Chanda Schmitz and Lee Petkovsek were united in marriage on January 16, 2011. A small intimate beach ceremony was held at Waialae Beach, Hawaii on the Island of Oahu. Rev. Nowlin Correa performed the ceremony. Attendees included the bride parents, two sisters, Kristie and Shena Schmitz and one brother Rorie Schmitz. Also attending was the grooms mother and Walt Wesenberg. The bride is the daughter of Randall and Kathy Schmitz of Loyal. The groom is the son of Barb Shain of Oconomowoc and Joe Petkovsek of Willard. Chanda is a graduate of UW Eau Claire and is employed with Security Health Plan. Pastor Rod Anderson performed the ceremony. Jennifer is the daughter of Charles and Barbara Schindhelm of Marshfield, WI. Aaron is the son of Gary and Joyce Ridley of Langdon, ND. Bridesmaids were Carolyn Grebe, Kelli Gochenaur, and Christa Westholder, all friends of the bride. The groomsmen were Dave Kreklau, Adam Hall, and Nic Beneda, all friends of the groom. Ushers were Jason Schindhelm and Mike Schindhelm, brothers of the bride and Stephen Ridley and Shawn Ridley, brothers of the groom. The bride has a Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Minnesota. She is employed with Fairview Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN. The groom has a Bachelor of Accountancy, University of North Dakota. He is employed with SurModics in Eden Prairie, MN. The couple took a honeymoon trip to Costa Rica.
