Dear Members, We are hoping for generous April Showers to bring Garden of the Gods Resort and Club beautiful landscaping back to life this spring, as well as much needed continued moisture to our golf courses. We are happy to announce that thanks to excellent golf course management, snow and rain fall in the past few weeks and most of all thanks to your help and cooperation, that effective today golf carts can resume on the golf courses. In April, we will host our regular Sunday Brunch on April 3rd, and our annual Easter Brunch on April 17th in the Grand View and The View. An exciting Easter Egg Hunt will be held on the Driving Range at 10:30am and 1:30pm. Do not forget to reserve Kids’ Club’s scheduled fun activities leading up to the holiday for all our youngest members to experience. Easter brunch is completely sold out at both venues, but there are still some spots available for the Easter Egg Hunt events. The first golf Demo Day of the season will be held on Saturday, April 23rd, reservations are needed and can be made through the Pro Shop. This is your chance to be fitted and have new clubs in time for golf season proper. There will be other demo days throughout the summer with more dates to be announced.
Member Socials are scheduled for Tuesday and Wednesday, April 19th & 20th. When registration opens, please be sure to reserve up to two members per membership for one evening. We ask that you do register both yourself and your spouse or significant other and attend one night only to leave opportunity for other members to participate. Thank you to those that participated in our Member Survey at the end of last year. To address one of the concerns raised in the survey, we were asked about placing a cap on memberships to maintain the club’s exclusivity and protect against too much volume. I share that since 2018 our total number of memberships has declined by almost 2%. For golf course memberships, we are flat currently to how we finished 2018. While we report monthly in this newsletter on new memberships sold, we do not report on resignations or members who downgrade their memberships, so while it might seem that we have more members, we are staying very flat in numbers. We therefore have no need to stop selling memberships or to impose any cap. Further feedback on the membership survey will be forthcoming later this month. Finally, if you recall, we added a new Fall Festival last year to our list of many activities, which was a great success. We are therefore similarly adding a Summer Festival on Saturday, May 28th on the Kissing Camels Golf Driving Range. This member event will begin at 2:00 p.m. with a beer garden, music, petting zoo and pony rides, bounce house, birdie ball golf contest and many more family activities until 6:00 p.m. that evening. More information will be sent out on this activity at the end of this month, and we will hope to see you and your family there.

She joins us from The Kissing Camels Grille and is excited to build upon her current relationships with our membership to best assist in making your dining experiences the best they can be. SUNDAY BRUNCH in the GRAND VIEW | SUNDAY, APRIL 3 Brunch is Back! Join us the first Sunday of the month for this member favorite buffet complete with Mimosa and Bloody Mary station. Buffet commences at 9:00 a.m. with the final seating at 2:00 a.m. Price is $55 for adults and $30 for children (ages 4 to 12). Price excludes tax and gratuity. Member Discount is applicable. A Night on the Lawn -CHEF DINNER | SATURDAY, APRIL 23 Join us for a “Night on the Lawn” featuring a seven-course seafood inspired menu, curated by our very own Executive Sous Chef Nathan Gresham, CEC. Each course includes a wine pairing, expertly chosen to complement the dishes. We’ll gather at one long farm style table set on the lawn at Kissing Camels Golf Course. The evening will commence with a reception at 6:00 p.m. for hand passed hors d’oeuvres and a welcome beverage, followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. Price is $90 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Member discount is not applicable. Limited seating is available. In the event of poor weather dinner will be moved indoors. You will be notified prior to the day of the new venue. Holiday Events and Dining Cancellation / No Show The 72-hour cancellation policy applies to all special holiday dining and event reservations. A fee of 50% of the prevailing event price for each reserved seat of the event will be charged to the member account or guest who made the reservation and fail to show or cancel within a 72-hour period.

Course conditions will continue to improve as we forge into season. We are looking forward to getting golf carts back on the course beginning Friday, April 1. Online tee times are available 7-days in advance starting at 8:00 a.m. in April.

REMINDER OF OUR “TBD” POLICY FOR THE ONLINE TEE SHEET If TBDs are not filled with player names, said TBD’s will be released automatically 48 hours from your tee time. We suggest the following, as ways to relieve some of the pressure on our tee time availability • • • •
Online tee times are available 7-days in advance starting at 8:00 a.m. in April, please access the member portal to do so. Only book a tee time that you plan on using. Cancel your tee time as soon as you know you will not be able to play. Release TBDs in your time slot if you are not able to fill them within 48 hours of your tee time.
We will continue to have earlier tee times on the tee sheet beginning at 7:00 a.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, from Memorial Day Weekend, Friday, May 27 through Labor Day, Monday, September 5th. These tee times will be in 7- and 8minute intervals for one hour. On days when events are scheduled these earlier tee times will not be available. Walking restrictions will begin on Saturday, May 28th, no walking prior to 9:00 a.m. As a reminder, singles, twosomes, and walk ups do not have priority on the golf course. Please do not expect to play through foursomes and threesomes that have regularly scheduled tee times. Our goal is to create a more enjoyable golf experience for the entire membership, we ask that you do your part to assist us in achieving this goal.

HANDICAP FLAGS Those members that have or request handicap flags (blue flags), please be respectful to the golf course and keep your distance from the greens to the greens no closer than 15 feet. Do not drive on greenside slopes or between bunkers. Handicap flags are a privilege to have and may be revoked if abused.
