Dear Members, After the much-needed heavy snow and rain during the latter part of May, I know we are all looking forward to more consistently sunny and warm temperatures in June. This past holiday weekend we saw some of you at the Summer Festival enjoying the many activities that were curated for your enjoyment. Continuing in that theme we have a full line-up of member events coming in June to include two Sunday Brunches, Music Under the Stars, a whiskey tasting, a Chef's Table Dinner and much more. In addition, Fitness Coaches from Strata Fit and Ben Spires, Head Golf Professional, are partnering on four upcoming dates to provide our members with ways to improve your golf game. Learn about mobility mechanics to improve your golf swing as we present Golf Mechanics and Mobility on the Kissing Camels Driving Range. Kids Club will have your children ready for Father's Day with instruction and materials to make the perfect gift - a handmade card coming straight from their heart. In addition, we have other events to make the day special for our incredible Dad’s. Our new Director of Racquet Sports, Greg Heartt, has been with us since May 15th and is already introducing new racquet clinics, lessons and camps for the summer. Greg will sometimes be sending out communications specific to our tennis community. If you haven't already and would like to receive racquetball specific communications, please send an email to tkalata@gardenofthegodsresort.com to be placed on this special mailing list. We are proud to announce the opening of three new outdoor tennis courts and six pickle courts located just south of the Vermillion residences. While we still have landscaping to install, as a result of the late winter weather, we do not want to hold up the enjoyment and utilization of the space, so the opening date for play will be June 8th.
