You will find Disney-themed games, activities, and competitions. There will be an epic Disney scavenger hunt, pin the nose of the Olaf, goody bags, and more! JAI ALAI Friday, August 30th, 5:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Join us for this inaugural Tennis Pro Exhibition with a spin-off of Jai Alai. Watch local professionals from the area compete against one another in a fun team event. Win incredible prizes. Join us for a family-friendly cookout, ice cream, and cash bar. Kids can join in on the fun with the Recreation Center by playing other yard games, ladder ball, corn hole, ring toss, and hula hoops to enjoy the festivities.

Holiday Events and Dining Cancellation / No Show

The 72-hour cancellation policy applies to all special holiday dining and event reservations. A fee of 50% of the prevailing event price for each reserved seat of the event will be charged to the member account or guest who made the reservation and fail to show or cancel within a 72-hour period. 16

FIELD TRIP TO GARDEN OF THE GODS NATURE CENTER Join Kids’ Club on a Field Trip to Garden of the Gods Nature Center! Tuesday, September 6th, 9:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. Tyke Hike and Rock Identification $35 per Jr. Member Join Kids Club for a slow-paced hike from the Visitor Center to the Central garden for kids aged 2 to 10. This is the perfect addition to your home school curriculum. As we walk, there will be an activity to engage the kids with the flora and fauna of the Garden. At the central garden, we will take a break and read a book and have a snack. After the hike, we will learn the skills to identify different traits in rocks that geologists use to determine the rock type. The class will begin indoors in the Red Rocks Room so that we can learn the traits that we are looking for and how to measure them. Then we will head out into the Garden of the Gods and put our new knowledge to work identifying any rocks that we find! This class will be focused on Igneous Rocks.

Join park docent and rattlesnake enthusiast, Jane Gasko, to learn about the most misunderstood reptile in the American West.

Colorado was home to many exciting varieties of dinosaurs millions of years ago. Learn about the different ancient lizards that walked this same land as you! Each We Dig Dinosaurs event will focus on a different type of Colorado native dinosaur and will be both fun and educational!

FIELD TRIP TO GARDEN OF THE GODS NATURE CENTER Indoor Scavenger Hunt and ExperiMental Wednesday, September 28th, 9:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. $35 per Jr. Member Junior Members are invited to join Michael Bideau, education specialist, at the Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center, for this exciting, guided scavenger hunt. The program begins with a short movie in the Geo-Trekker theater followed by exploring the exhibit rooms using our Scavenger Hunt cards and finishing up with a fun read-aloud and snack. We will finish with an experiment, with a fundamental question that is asked by kids every day, and then hands-on science will be used as a vehicle for engaging, discovering, and learning through actual experience, not just explanation.
