February Welsh Mountain Series

Join us for a series of events in February which will focus on the dynamics of the Welsh Mountain Community.

February 13, Monday, Chapel, 7pm – Legends and Lessons from the Welsh Mountain – Don Horning, New Holland Area Historical Society, will moderate.

February 20, Monday, Chapel, 7pm – Religious History and Mission on Welsh Mountain – Ken Sensenig will share stories and historical research.

February 27, Monday, 9:30am depart the Apt Suites Lobby

– Guided bus tour of the Welsh Mountains and surrounding area, including Welsh Mountain Home, Welsh Mountain Medical Center, the Nature Preservation effort, and more. Appx. 2 hours in length.

Collecting non-perishable food items for the New Holland Food Pantry. Due to the great need in our local community, the Food Pantry collection is extended thru March.

Currently the Food Pantry has a special need for: Ketchup, salad dressing, pasta sauce, canned kidney beans, canned corn, canned tomatoes, pancake mix & syrup, cereal, oatmeal, Manwich

Household items needed include: Dish detergent, laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo, body wash
