As a part of World University of Design curriculum, all final year students are required to undertake a Graduation Project in the Industry.

For my Graduation Project I got the opportunity to work with ‘WITHIN’ design studio in New Delhi starting December, 2021.
The Graduation Project is an opportunity for students to demonstrate their expertise as independent practitioners of design. This project is done with academic rigour incorporating systematic inquiry and informed design decisions.
The Graduation Project reflects the thought and leadership manifested through creativity and innovation. The project leads to new knowledge generation and aligns with border objectives of the institute.
This document is a consideration of my learnings of the four years of education I have received at World University of Design, Sonepat, India. The past few months have been overwhelming just as they have been intensive. I would like to take a moment to express my gratitude to my parents and who have forever been my pillar of strength. They made me whatever I am today and what I will be. I would like to convey my sincere gratitude to Mr. Gaurav Sharma the Dean (school of design) of World University of Design for helping me and guiding me during the internship. BOLD PATTERNS AND COLORS
This year people move away from neutrals and will be using more vibrant colors and bold patterned fabrics. Citrus green and RAF blue are colors we think we will see a lot of.
WALLPAPER IS THE NEW PAINT Wallpaper is a key trend for 2022. You can expect to see a lot of vivid colors and intricate patterns. Now is not the time for coy neutrals or safe stripy designs.
NATURAL MATERIALS AND FORMS
The look blends vintage and retro furnishings with luxe finishes and top of the line tech, so it feels current and evocative. A MODERN GRAND
EmbracingMILLENIALoffloralpatterns, a sort of 1940s updated chintz vibe, resplendent in the memory of Mario Buatta, but in a more contemporary palette.
GOING GREEN Green tones are the “it” color of 2022. But what’s most interesting about this trend is that it stems from biophilia and holistic wellness. This residential project is a 5800 square feet penthouse, in an elite residential building in New Delhi. It is a labour of love - a sumptuous abode for a family of three. The residence features two floors, with the top one being a terrace overlooking the luscious forest. The aim was to accommodate the desires of the residents while still painting this empty canvas with our intriguing design vocabulary. An endeavor of heart, mind and soul- the house needed to be transcended into a home, spelling luxury in the detail and a safe sanctuary in the essence!

It is a part of Greater Kailash located around a section of the Outer Ring Road. The locality is developed by DLF Limited and is close to other famous areas of New Delhi. M block market of Greater Kailash 2 hosts many international brands. The locality shares proximity with popular retail avenues namely, Select City Walk Saket, DLF Place Saket, New Friends Colony (NFC) Market etc. Various prominent hospitals and educational institutions in near vicinity include Fortis La Femme, Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, K. R. Mangalam World School, Bluebells School International, etc.

GREATER KAILASH II A green residential locality in South Delhi, Greater Kailash 2 is one gem in South Delhi that is a lot more than a residential locality. It is among the most affluent neighbourhoods in the capital city.

There is an understated discipline and timelessness in the marriage of vivid colours, patterns and textures all over this home, creating a beautiful language of unison.
It is a unique curation of all elements of design, bringing together refined materiality and chirpy hues.
The unique touch of some of the most coveted pieces of fine furniture, reflecting vintage tinges, like a classic bench, antique mirrors, wicker chairs, and distressed lanterns add an unmissable nostalgia.

The bed in the center reigns the master bedroom, with a seating and a study perched on either side. Wood is the abundantly used common thread that runs through the expanse, to create splendour and warmth.
The romantic dusky pink hues on the bed and use of black and white in stone, fabrics and family photographs, contrasts the walnut tints in an inviting mishmash, striking a perfect balance in pattern, textures and colours that dot this space. The master dresser and bathroom echo this refined design aesthetic an interplay of mesmerising tones and tactile materials.

Keeping in mind the storage of her toys and books, the space has been designed to take care of all her activities. The little inhabitant has her own drawings up on the walls, as artful masterpieces and she beams with pride at that. The bed and the comfortable cloud sofa steal the show in this delightful space.

The European aesthetic, the simplicity, paired with drama and the romantic charm of the handmade and the magic of patterned cottons, sum up the experience of this mesmerizing cocoon. The guest bedroom also hosts a seating for the guests to enjoy their morning coffee at. It is a place where you feel like you’re on vacation even when you’re not.
Filled with sunlight, the guest bedroom paints many a narratives with the classic bed headboard and the 4 poster bed being the highlight. The wicker wardrobes blend well with the natural textures and the fresh distinctive colour theme of the room. The black adds the pop of eclectic to the space.
