“Many people take dental care for granted until it is too late. But it isn’t just that, a large number of people actually fear going to the dentist and thus avoid the experience altogether, until the reality of an aching tooth or infection makes it completely necessary for them to visit. Thus the specialist clinic that I chose to design was a dental clinic. DENTAL HEALTH CLINIC SOLACE
Oral disorders have remained the most prevalent disease group in India over the past three decades. According to ministry of health and family welfare, while dental caries affects about 60% and periodontal disease about 85% of the Indian population.
• Location:
INITIAL GOAL: The goal of the design is to provide an interior environment that fosters healing of both the patients’ mind and body. Plants are not only an aesthetic addition to any room, but their qualities have been shown to create a much more calming and relaxed atmosphere. And using aromatherapy and music to relax the patients.

CONCEPT
The mid century furniture, the use of cane, metal and wood throughout the place provides harmony, including the lime painted walls with visual texture and arched walkways. The space will cater to all age groups as well as all types of groups. It promotes interaction, but also respects privacy. It makes the patient feel at home where you can grab a coffee, listen to music, watch something you like or read and forget all about the horrors of dentistry. Its an immersion of all five senses.
THE ENTIRE CONCEPT REVOLVES AROUND SOLACE.
The space will be designed in a way that it is inviting and calming. It’ll feature both dark and light, the Ying and the Yang. The entrance and the waiting areas would feature a dimer, more calming aesthetic, with filtered sun light and warm artificial lighting. Further into the clinic, while nearing the treatment areas the space becomes even brighter to represent transparency and relief.

CO-WORKING SPACES?

GETTING OUTSIDE OF THE HOME: Working from home is great, but it’s easy to fall into a rut, too.
NETWORKING: When you have so many people with so much in common, it’s only a matter of time until you start to network.

WHY CHOOSE A COWHOSPACE?WORKINGUSES
FREELANCERS OR REMOTE WORKERS: Since freelancers work for themselves, having a pay-as-go type of arrangement can save a fortune.
Sitting desks, standing desks, sofas, couch, bean bags are all normal. Moreover, we know that almost all shared office spaces provide coworkers access to recreational activities within their office space. A sports room with foosball, table tennis, chess board are all things of the past.
CO WORKING SPACE
•
•
• ENTERPRISES: When you have thousands of employees who are working around the world, managing office needs can be a hassle.
• FLEXIBILITY: Rather than signing a long term lease, you can get much more flexible deals with co working spaces.
•
•
NON PROFITS: Many co working spaces offer non profit arrangements or discounts.
BUBBLE DIAGRAM
If we’d have to name one thing about co working spaces that they are known for, then it would be their interiors. The design is so well prepared and executed that a person falls in love with space in the first look. But a detailed research on Co working Trends suggests that this is getting better day by day. We have a couple of new co working spaces opening up on this earth every day and it is the space design which is getting better day by day.
MOTIVATION: There’s just an energy of productivity in the air when you’re in a room full of driven people
SMALL BUSINESSES: Small businesses that don’t want the same overhead as a traditional lease, have flocked to co working.
•
The co-working space design has evolved in a much brighter way.
boardCONCEPTCONCEPT
The colder interiors (autumn / winter) were designed in more welcoming environments, with colors covering the furniture with darker shades. On the other hand, warm temperatures (spring / summer) are recreated in environments where the space between objects breathes more, and where you feel a current of air that injects a cooler atmosphere. There is more life here, it is more vivid and natural. We are designing a space where the seasons coexist with each other; where the dark meets the light.

An important feature of the buildings in Jaisalmer is their porosity, a haveli is full of holes. The holes are different in size, from courtyards and shafts to slots and cavities to finely carved stone jalis, and all this allows passage for cross ventilation cross ventilation through holes
Shading through texture
Jaisalmer is an irregular polygon with a double line of fortification. It is a city within a city. The town is protected by the dust storms from entering from the south west into the city because the streets are aligned at 90degrees from the storms. The architecture of the city displays a strong sense of anonymity which is essentially a cultural trait. In some of the oriental cultures it is part of life and comes naturally to the people. This expression is found specially in domestic architecture. The whole idea of a house in Jaisalmer is developed around the idea of 'privacy'. Depending upon the socio-economic status of the inhabitant, there are three types of houses in Jaisalmer. The spaces acquire non specific character. They accommodate variety of activities during different seasons and different times of the day.
NW SE ORIENTATION IN THE BEST
The heat inside the building in Jaisalmer is controlled by the use of textures. This is organized at three levels.
YOUTH HOSTEL haveli3
In this project we studied about the various environmental and climatic issues of the region assigned ( Jaisalmer). Learnt about various concepts of Green design and sustainable interiors space planning, climate, natural light and ventilation, vernacular material and construction techniques. We also studied aspects of user centric space design and understood nuances of space, keeping in mind its use, users, context: region, climate, requirements, environment, material, construction techniques, etc.
Plans of the existing space SITE ANALYSIS The hostel will be located right on the foots of the fort, giving an awe striking view matching a experiencerustic and bringing peace at your disposal. LOCATION : OUTSIDE THE FORT second FLOOR first FLOOR GROUND FLOOR

wizards on vacation, the design and feel throughout shows mystery and magic and stories that Rajasthan in stores. The palace is filled with magical paintings telling you stories of the past. The passageways are well lit and lead to the enchanted chambers (dorms). Created to conjure a mysterious yet royal feel, each room is dedicated to the main Indian lineages: solar, lunar and fire dynasties. Apart from the enchanted rooms are the mystery chambers with each room featuring magical details and props and let’s not forget the hidden doors, because is it even fun without hidden rooms?
KAVAD
THE ENCHANTED PALACE
The immersive dinning that is curated by the top wizards is spellbinding, but be careful, since it is in the ruins of the mysterious Kuldhara, the village whose entire population disappeared overnight.
And if you feel like your wizarding powers have been over utilized, don’t worry, the healer will help you replenish your powers with a swish of a wand under the mystical wishing tree in the enchanted spa, where you can wish your worries goodbye. But dare not forget this place is for no mundane!
The Kavad is a mobile story telling device that sometimes serves as a temporary temple. It is created by combining the skills of carpentry, painting and narration. As separate professions, the carpenter is called a Suthar, an artist is a chitrakar, and a story teller is a bhat. The Kavad makers combine the work of the carpenter and artist, while the Kavadia Bhats do the narration.
Here I tried to retain the original plans of the haveli as much as possible. In this adaptive reuse building (haveli turned hostel), there are three dorms with 4 bunk beds and attached bathrooms. There are 4 private rooms and all of them are different. The spa has a tub within for guests’ recreation. The bar and the restaurant are open to the public and thus have direct access to the outside, which means the guests residing would not be disturbed. Most the walls would have murals or paintings or bookshelves talking about the stories of Rajasthan. Different places smelling differently and being concealed would provide for the mysterious aura. The façade of the building would add to the same.

The second: IN/ BETWEEN: This would be a dimly lit and narrow bar portraying the connection to both the first and the second phase which is still insecure and fragile.
THE DOOR CANNOT HELP BUT HINT AT THE SPACE BEYOND ITS PLANAR SURFACE /
The problem with this rhetoric of inside/outside is that such polemics neglect the fact that these are not fixed conditions, that most of us are potentially both inside and outside at the same time. the moment between inside and outside. Henry Urbach coined the term ‘Ante Closet, defining the space before the closet: a space for changing an effect of re appropriations and re significations without end. It resists fixed identities by allowing space to fold, unfold and fold again.
The phrase “coming out of the closet” was used extensively since the 60s to describe a queer individual explicitly making their identity and preferences known. The architectural construct of the closet described the person’s deepest desires, their wishes, the clothes that they wore when they were in the company of their friends and confidants. The closet was central to this image of heterosexual whiteness. It holds things at the edge of the room, at once concealing and revealing its interior.
/ THE CLOSET, IN THE END, CAN ONLY BE SO INCONSPICUOUS.
• Entry through the closet: The closet would be represented using a passage way with a structural closet on the front façade.
Washrooms: They would be in an open plan divided by usage.
LGBTQ+ people and allies or even the people who identify as male or female. The architecture itself would be queer so exclusively queer inhabitants won’t be necessary in order to make it a queer space.

Serenity descends on you when you are at Jibhi. Jibhi is a place to completely unwind and indulge in relaxing activities. Even though the market for micro homes is increasing, it still isn’t that popular since houses in India are still seen as a status symbol for many. Micro homes are ideal for people who prefer location to ample space. And a location like this does just that. It promotes off the grid sustainable living or can also act as a second home for those looking for refuge from the hectic city lives.

This chair has just two legs, with a seat cantilevered over them. The design makes it easier to move on carpeting than a four legged chair. George Nakashima made this chair out of a slab of walnut wood in 1971. He named this chair “Conoid Chair” because it was as daring as his studio in New Hope, Pennsylvania, a structure modeled on the section of a cone. The studio’s elegant window walls inspired the thin hickory spindles of the chair back, rising up to support a gently arched cross member. This design also recalls the colonial tradition of simple, functional, spindle back chair. The design of the product is accurate in every detail and reveals the search for minimalist elegance through careful study.
