Strong foundations City of Garland performing arts facilities have a long and celebrated history and have been a central resource for the city and community. The Granville Arts Center and Plaza Theatre in downtown Garland have anchored creative performance activity in the city for decades. The City has collaborated in long-term successful partnerships with the performing arts organizations Garland Summer Musicals, the Garland Symphony Orchestra, the Civic Theatre, and more to provide performance experiences to the city’s residents and visitors. These facilities and organizations will continue to play a central role in attracting local and regional audiences and anchoring and expanding arts offerings in the city.
