Sounds of Summer Concert Series

Garland’s Sounds of Summer Concert Series returns every other Thursday, beginning May 12 through July 21, for a summer like never before! Along with presenting partner Veritex Bank and artist sponsor Jimmy Wallace Guitars, the City is proud to feature touring on-the-rise artists and lively entertainers who are sure to blow you away with talent and get you dancing in Audubon and Winters Parks.

Juneteenth

Juneteenth

The inaugural Juneteenth event will take place from 2 - 5 p.m. Sunday, June 19, in Audubon Park. Commemorate the emancipation of enslaved people with a celebration of freedom and unification through dance, speakers and live music. There will be food trucks, a children’s activity area and an area to reflect on the day’s historical significance.
