CHILDREN’S SOAPS: We have a mix of children’s soaps, some of which are organic (Building Blocks & Puzzles) and others like the Lego men, Pac-men and Robots which are made with a nonorganic base. All the bright coloured children’s soaps use Organic and Fairly Traded Essential oils. They include: Peppermint, Lavender, Mandarin, Grapefruit, Chamomile and Lime. All are suitable for young skin. Our children’s range are licensed for children aged 3+.

Our popular Novelty Soaps are only a small sample of what we make for wholesale but we are open to suggestions, corporate events and commissions. This range of soaps are made specifically with ‘fun’ in mind, great for kids and grown ups - suitable as gifts for for your very own bath time. Many never make it passed the collectables Shelf. Almost all of these soaps use an opaque base which is SLS free and similarly, most do contain fragrances. They cannot be sold as organic or fairly traded though a many do contain organic ingredients.

Strangford Stone Shaving soaps come in two sizes 100g and 300g. We also sell these in bulk to the hospitality industry. They carry a fig & Rosemary fragrance and contain bentonite clay making it suitable as a shaving soap as well as a hand soap.

Whilst ScENT makes both Cold Process and Melt & Pour Soaps it is the Cold Process that we tend to make for wholesale. There are a few reasons for this. â—? We can make the soap from scratch sourcing all our own ingredients - ensuring top quality, organic and fairly traded ingredients are always given the priority. Making it from scratch means we knw exactly what goes into it keeping it 100% natural. â—? It means we can produce soaps that are tailor made to specific skin conditions. â—? They withstand sunlight and moisture much better for retail shops than Melt & Pour.
PALM OIL Most people concerned with organic skincare are also very aware of the world we live in and our global responsibility to live sustainably. Palm oil is a massive and very divisive issue. To be honest it is a bit of a minefield. Palm oil can be approved by the RSPO but still not be sourced from sustainable sources. A big concern for many is the possible future extinction of the orangutan which has become the face of rain-forest preservation globally. It is true that even sourcing palm oil from organic sources in Indonesia threatens further deforestation. Yet despite this there is little doubt that palm oil really does help harden a bar of soap - preventing it from turning to mush almost instaneiously. For those who seek to remain palm oil free - we suggest using our Castile Soaps which are 100% Organic Olive oil soaps. Left to cure long enough it is difficult to find a harder bar! However we have found two sources for Palm oil, one Columbia & the other Nigeria where the palm oil is both organic, sustainable and not from forested areas. Further, no orangutan is to be found outside the zoo of either country! We are also looking into a potential source from Ghana where we also get our Coconut oil and Cocoa butter.

BATH & BODY Your Skin is the largest part of your body. People interested in organic foods should only consider organic skincare. Unlike food that is digested and excreted, every single thing you put on your skin has the potential of being absorbed directly into the blood stream. This alone is reason enough to keep our own skin-care products organic. Further, buy supporting organic farming practices we are ensuring that farm workers no longer have to put up with the harmful health consequences of harvesting products covered in pesticides and insecticides, let alone give some rest-bite to that most wonderful of creatures, the bee that is suffering so much at present.
That our skin is so good at absorbing things provides us with great opportunities. Renowned the world over for their therapeutic properties, essential oils have been used by alternative therapists for centuries. Plants and extracts have been used long before modern medicine and they are known to wield a power above and beyond their reputation of meagre plant! We have opted to make products of high quality, parabens-free and organic, with many containing ingredients that are fairly traded. Further, as an aromatherapist Carla has specifically tailored her products with specific conditions and purposes in mind. Similarly we are happy to make custom orders for specific skin conditions. This is not to say that our products are medicinal. They are cosmetics, not drugs, but for many - the use of such products is a great companion to their pursuit of good health and well-being.

Our Bath Salts are a blend of salt, epsom salts, citric acid and sodium bicarbonate. They are complimented with some base oils to help moisturise the skin, essential oils for their therapeutic properties and flora for decoration. Presented in PET Kilner Jars with the contents weighing 230g.
Hand Salve 211We carry two hand salves in stock. Lavender & Lime and Carrotseed & Sandalwood. Both are intensive hand salves which contain more wax than the body butters. Great to use in the morning and at night. They make a great gardener’s salve. Presentd in PET kilner Jar

Bath Melts 202-001 Our fizzy bath melts are made with deodorised organic and fairly traded cocoa butters & shea butters. Depending on the product line we use a few different oils specifically geared to wards skin-types or their properties.
These fabulous body butters are presented in the PET Kilner jars 100g or the newer and smaller PET jars 40g Each butter contains organic and fairly traded cocoa butter, shea butter, coconut oil and carrier oil. It also contains mango seed butter, beeswax or jojoba wax (for vegans) and essential oils. The lavender & Lime/ Special blend are particularly good sellers and the Herbal foot butter gets fabulous feedback.
Body Scrubs 208These Solid Sugar Scrubs cut down the need to scrub and moisturise by letting you do it all in the shower in one go. The scrub is fixed by hard butters and oils making it an absolute delight to wake up to in the morning. Each tablet will be enough for one shower.

SOAPS FOR EVERY SEASON. ScENT promotes some of its products for specific seasons as well as producing seasonal products. These do vary from year to year but we are including this little list to whet the appetite.
