High Temperature Air Combustion Technology (HTAC). Regenerative furnaces have two chambers, each containing refractory material, called the checker. While in one chamber the combustion gases pass through the checker and enter the furnace in the other chamber the checker is heated, or regenerated, with the outgoing hot exhaust gas. The furnace operates in two cycles, where about every 30-90seconds; the flow is reversed so that the new combustion air can be heated by the checker. Typical air preheat temperatures (depending on the number of ports) are normally in the range of 1000-1200 ยบC, sometimes up to 1250ยบ C. Regenerative furnaces are very common in industry. After passing through reversing system into the right side of regenerative burner, air was preheated, and combustion with gas in the chamber of stove to generate fuel gas , when fuel gas get into the left side of regenerative burner , a lot of heat was carrying by fuel gas was absorbed in heat retainer (ceramic honeycomb)in the regenerative burner After a reversing recycle (about 30-90 seconds), the original heat regenerator group, and now release the heat, on the contrary, the exothermic heat regenerator group, and now absorption of heat.
