gasworld Media Guide 2012
We’ve seen the gases industry respond to the challenging conditions of recent years with great verve and vigour. As well as riding out the wave of recession, by and large, our industry has continued to drive the development of end-user industries across the globe. Just as the industry takes great strides forward, so too does gasworld magazine. In 2011 we enhanced our offering with added value across all our content and as you will see from this 2012 media guide, we have even more added value than ever before. In addition to tackling the traditional growth drivers that are so important to our industry, such as oil services, the steel industry, and the food and beverage sector, we cover some exciting new subject matter too. There are hot new opportunities out there for the gas and equipment community, emerging markets or applications that are shaping our industry, and some really topical questions still to be addressed – we recognise the importance of these to you, our readers, and are committed to keeping you at the forefront of our industry in 2012 and beyond. Homecare services, for example, is a market full of potential for the industrial gas business. The market for electronic gas management continues to develop; the focus on ‘green’ technologies is ever increasing; and the small-scale LNG market offers a number of opportunities. Compliance also appears to be growing in significance, as radical new incentives, schemes, policies and legislation come into effect that impact upon the industrial gas business. We’ll be covering all of these and more in our engaging editorial plan for the year ahead. There are great opportunities to get involved across gasworld’s many platforms – so get in touch and see what we can do for you, as the focal point for global industrial gas news, views and information. 14 Conferences Back in 2007, gasworld brought the industrial gas community together in a way which had never been done before. Senior Managers from the Tier 1 industrial gas companies, smaller regional players, equipment companies, distribution companies and high volume end-users gathered at Dubai’s Jumeirah Beach Hotel, for the very first industrial gas conference. Since 2007 gasworld conferences have gone from strength to strength, and in 2012 we will celebrate our tenth event. gasworld conferences offer a unique environment in which to discuss, debate and converse. Over the two conference days, well respected industrial gas professionals give informative presentations focusing on the commercial aspects of our business – such as market dynamics, the introduction of new technologies, operational efficiencies and drivers for growth. Unlike the gas association meetings, which bring the industry together to discuss technical and safety issues, gasworld conferences are designed to help companies of all sizes and capabilities to focus on ways in which to boost efficiency, identify the opportunities available to them, and to keep them well informed about the latest trends. All who attend gasworld conferences are working towards one common goal – success in the industrial gas business. This united focus makes for an atmosphere of determination and positivity, creating the perfect environment in which to generate new ideas and move into the future with confidence.

gasworld Media Guide 2012
Aside from two days of informative presentations, a gasworld conference offers companies a plethora of opportunities to promote their products and services to a carefully selected target audience. gasworld conference sponsorship propels your company to the forefront of the industry, marking your place as a serious player in the region and communicating your offering to those who matter. As well as branding opportunities, gasworld conferences also cater to those wishing to host a high status function – such as a lunch or dinner. The Marketing and Events Manager will endeavour to help you make your event as impressive and memorable as it can possibly be, making its mark on the minds of the delegates present and ensuring your company is always considered in relation to future business in the region. gasworld provides a range of sponsorship packages, all offering different channels of exposure. All official sponsors will however receive exposure in the following ways: promotion of company logo on all conference promotional material, logo and profile on the gasworld website, logo and profile in the official delegate manual. Each conference brings a different location, a different atmosphere, and different sponsorship opportunities. As a sponsor your can brand your booth, your lunch, or your dinner as you wish, creating a memorable display which will be remembered for years to come.
