We’ve seen the gases industry respond to the challenging conditions of recent years with great verve and vigour. As well as riding out the wave of recession, by and large, our industry has continued to drive the development of end-user industries across the globe. Just as the industry takes great strides forward, so too does gasworld magazine. In 2011 we enhanced our offering with added value across all our content and as you will see from this 2012 media guide, we have even more added value than ever before. In addition to tackling the traditional growth drivers that are so important to our industry, such as oil services, the steel industry, and the food and beverage sector, we cover some exciting new subject matter too. 14 Conferences Back in 2007, gasworld brought the industrial gas community together in a way which had never been done before. Senior Managers from the Tier 1 industrial gas companies, smaller regional players, equipment companies, distribution companies and high volume end-users gathered at Dubai’s Jumeirah Beach Hotel, for the very first industrial gas conference.
