But, this is not an actual way to conduct a dye test; and to
perform a dye test, you should purchase the required equipment.

suspected leak area in your pool.
For example, if you suspected that water is escaping from

Fittings, skimmers, returns, cleaner line, lights, steps and

Spray Dye You should need special dye, applicator syringe, red liquid
and dropper bottle to conduct this swimming pool leak detection method.
After confirming the suspected area, you need to spray four
to five drops of dye (red food coloring) directly adjacent to the area where you suspect the leak is.
You should do this process all the suspected area in your
swimming pool.
Detect the Leaky Place After spraying the dye, you should wait a few minutes to see
the water slowly move in the pool. If there is any leak in your pool, then the red dye will pull into the leak.
The larger leak in your pool, you can see the dye is being
pulled into the leak.
